I would give this store a negative 5 if possible. I was referred to the Griffin location to design and install cabinetry in my new home. It started all very well, but went down hill upon delivery of the kitchen and 3 full bath installation. Most of the cabinets were not measured correctly and damaged upon arrival. The designer, Gail O., took no responsibility for the issues and harassed us to pay the bill. The initial installer ended up quitting. We hired another installer who tried he's best, but unfortunately quit because HomeDepot did not pay him. I was "black-balled" by this location. And told that my transaction was escalated to corporate. Which was not true. I have tried more then 10 times to contact corporate to no avail. I now have cabinetry items sitting uninstalled in my garage. The install began in June 2022 and it's now March 2023. Again, I'm not the only consumer harmed by the Griffin HomeDepot. I recommend that you source a local cabinetry company. I'm positive this review will result in a response by HomeDepot "We are sorry...." I cannot find an attorney willing to take on HomeDepot. The corporate office will not call me back. The Griffin management told me that they cannot and will not help me. My builder paid $40K for this horrible design and install. I don't even know how many stars to give, the lady who helped us was amazing. But the truth in advertising makes me sad. We went to Lowes. Where we get a 10% discount for being military , but to find a single person to help is was impossible. We ended up going to Home Depot and was blessed to find someone to help us who was amazing !!! My complaint is there are photos every where saying what the military discount is, but we weren't given it.... we were told on our 4000 purchase we got a 50 discount read more

We went to buy brown mulch on sale and ask the garden department loader to put it in the truck. Shitlarenta said well SINCE YOU AINT DOING NOTHING WHY DONT YOU GO& PAY FOR THIS MULCH I'm loading. THAT COMMENT WAS JUST OUT OF PLACE , I guess she had a bad attitude because I didn't help load the bags. On The day before I had rotator cuff surgery, bicep surgery and tendons repaired. Girl at the service desk has a baby kitten. Its not professional cause who knows whos allergic, especially in a place of work with people coming in and out. Me and my husband come in to get paint pretty frequently and usually have the best customer service but it never fails when the employee bre is there we have a terrible experience she will blatantly walk away while we are talking or get someone else to finish her job she is rude to customers and will leave all of her other employees to do her job. If we come in to get paint and see that she is there we take our business across the street. I also have many friends and family who have told me the same thing about this employee. It just makes the department and the whole store look bad to have such rude and carless employees working for them. read more

We bought a $1200 refrigerator and the moving team tore up our kitchen linoleum! Even though we did not sign there were no damages, the Home Depot refused to pay for the damage done to the floor. Never had such horrible service, especially for a high dollar product. Definitely won't be back. read more

I came in to have Gail design my kitchen cabinets. She was very unprofessional, she texting, making calls and talking to other reps on the phone. I was about to walk out and she apologized so I sat back down. I return a week later to have Gail finish my design since she rushed me off because her shift ended. When I returned she couldn't find my stuff, she shifted through her junky and unorganized drawer for 10-15 minutes to find my stuff. After spending an hour with her I told her I would come back to place my order but before I left I reported her unprofessionalism to the assistant manager Arlene who stated she would coach her. I went back to the Griffin location to place my order but I couldn't because Gail never input my information in to the system (yet again). Her manager Arlene said "I understand your frustration I would be beyond hot". Then Arlene decided to raise her voice at me when expressing my frustration, referred me to Lovejoy and was unwilling to assist me in getting my order placed. When I asked her if she spoke to Gail she stated yes but didn't coach her to putting customers information in the system. Refused to give me her managers information, refused to give me the district managers information and was unapologetically rude. The worst service I ever received from a Home Depot. Griffins Home Depot is unprofessional and rude. Don't shop there!!!!! read more
