Only thing that is bad about this Home Depot is their pro services department. Every Home Depot I've set foot in and asked for a quote or a material sheet for the current home project. I.E You need 3 bags of concrete 6 2x4 2 sheets of this ply wood Etc But as soon as i asked here they said they didn't know. That nobody in the store knows how to do that. Nobody in the store knows how many 8ft by 3 ft pieces of sheet metal you need to make a 7x7 square, or nobody knows how many pieces of lumber you need or what screws to recommend. read more

I am never shopping at Home Depot again. Lowe's will have my business from here on out! A couple of weeks ago I picked up an air filter for my house that was the wrong size. The filter was unopened and completely re-sellable. I was at my daughters vollleyball tournament out in Greenspoint (I live in sugar land) and decided during the break to go exchange it. When I didn't have the receipt I figured I would just exchange it when I saw there was a Home Depot right by where we were playing. The total was $17.29. After I told the cashier I did not have the receipt she ran my license and told me I couldn't exchange it or get store credit. I have been shopping at Home Depot in Sugarland almost 20 years and have exchanged items far more expensive than this without a receipt-with no issue. I am also a Home Depot card holder and I will be closing my account today. I feel like because of the area I was in they were not allowing the exchange. That is another problem I have - consistency. The stores in Rosenberg and Sugar Land have excellent customer service, however today I feel like I was stereotyped as an African American. NEVER shopping there again!!! read more

CG The Caucasian male managers at The Home Depot 10707 North Freeway Houston, Texas 77037 #281-820-4745 basically condoned an employee yelling at me. They allegedly said they would talk to her. She then became negligent while belittling, talking down , and acting racist due to my black nationality. I then asked to speak to her Asst. Manager Justin about her behavior. He did not seem real concerned about my allegation about his employee. I then suggest the employee maybe racist, the asst mgr just turns and walks away. The Store Manager Ryan states people use racism allegations to much. I said she would not talk to a Caucasian person in the same manner. He states that if a customer brings up race, that he has instructed his employees to just turn and walk away. I said really, this is my perception based on her tactics, actions, and demeanor. read more

This location don't ever have a cashier available. For those that say it saves us money, prove it. Because I don't see their prices being reasonable enough to justify not hiring cashiers. I've come here a few times & have never rated/check-in. Each time I've gone I was asked if I needed help pretty quickly. Last year was really blessed on a Christmas tree. The orignal set we were looking at were pretty beat up. The guys working the area let my kiddo pick whatever tree he wanted & didn't charge me the full cost...and ya know if they let a 10yr old pick he picked the biggest tree ever!! LOL Compared to other stores, this location stays pretty well organized and stocked. Noticed that the employees don't always point you to the most expensive product, especially if they know it's not the most effective for what you're trying to acheive. This location is complete opposite of the HORRIBLE Wal-Mart located next door! I used to avoid this Home Depot bc of the Wal-Mart, but it's nothing like the HoodMart at all. read more

The title of this piece is: Incompetence. I went into this Home Depot recently to buy some blinds and inexpensive carpeting for a small office that we are renovating at my company, and every aspect of the process sucked. The lady in the flooring department was nice enough, but clueless about everything. We started by picking out some blinds. She cut them to my measurements and packed them up. When I got to installing them, they of course were not cut correctly and had to be returned and cut again. I asked about the flooring and she said that it would cost about $250 after we reviewed what type and quantity I would need, and that it would only take a couple of days to install. I stressed the importance of the time frame since I had a manager waiting for his office to be carpeted before moving in. Well, more than a week later, they finally got someone out to measure and then I get a call telling me that the carpet has to be a special type for commercial buildings, isn't in stock, will take two more weeks, and will cost $600. So... I canceled the order and am now still fighting them for my $35 measuring fee to be refunded since they provided very incorrect information from the beginning of my experience. No luck thus far... The local carpet vender I called instead was able to provide and install the carpeting I needed THE VERY NEXT DAY from when I called him... and at a cost of only $400. BOTTOM LINE: Thanks to the incompetence of the flooring lady at this Home Depot, I ended up wasting a lot of time and $35. Thanks a lot. read more

Staff so lazy instead of providing you with what you ask they want offer you something you didn't ask for like you can't read or see. If you don't want to get something off a higher rack for a customer, just say so! Same horrible service every single time. read more

I come to this Home Depot often because it's so close to home. But this time my family and I had a bigger project than most, we were rebuilding a fence and had already paid for the material at another location. The first person the helped us knew exactly what to do and most everything was already put aside for us which saved a lot of time. We were missing something's but a worker named Rigo helped us the whole time suggesting good wood & it all made sense. We paid for those items and came back about 2-3 hours later before rigo's shift was over cus he knew exactly what was going on. He as well as other men helped us load everything with no problem. Everything was smooth and the fence came out amazing. I'll continue to come here as always! read more

do not buy any appliances from home depot stores or online or waste your money on service protection plans they offer. it will be huge waste off your time, this is the worst customer service from any organization i have ever dealt with. they do not want to service their products and make it difficult to do so with their customer service techniques. it took 4 hours on the phone just to schedule a service call and then they had my service address wrong for the service company so they tried to cancel it when it was set up. we have owned enough appliances to fill 7 houses we have lived in and never experienced anything so terrible. read more
