    Bad, the service is horrendous I asked for an Apple Watch band but no one came to help. LOVE the helpless staff.

    My wife and I purchased a whole-house generator from Quality Home Products of Texas at a cost…read moreexceeding $18,000. The unit was delivered in March 2025. We were only told after delivery that our gas meter had to be replaced before installation could continue. This requirement was never disclosed or quoted during the sales process, resulting in an unexpected additional cost of $400 and delaying installation by approximately two months. After the meter was replaced, a technician visited our home to provide a tutorial on the generator. During that visit, several serious installation failures were discovered: * The generator had not been bolted to the ground. * Rear access plugs were not installed, leaving openings that allowed rodents to enter the unit. I was later informed this was considered my responsibility, despite these plugs being part of a proper installation. * As a result, rodents lived inside the generator for approximately two months. Shortly thereafter, my wife smelled gas, prompting us to contact Quality Home Products. We were instructed to call the gas company. During the subsequent service visit, the technician discovered: * An active gas leak * Internal damage caused by rodents, including damage to the magneto I was informed via text message that repairs would cost $542.18. After speaking with Tamara in Customer Service, I was told the company would not accept responsibility for the missing plugs and that the damage was being classified as "environmental." I was told rodents could flatten themselves and enter nearly any opening. I paid $452.18 to proceed with repairs. When the technician arrived to make the repair, additional damage was discovered to the wire harness, resulting in an additional charge of $281.21. Because this company was referred to by Home Depot of Porter, TX, I filed a complaint directly with Home Depot regarding Quality Home Products of Texas. Shortly thereafter, Tamara contacted me. After completing the repair and closing the generator, the technician again failed to secure the unit properly, leaving approximately a 1/2-inch gap that would have allowed rodents to re-enter. I had to call the company back to correct this issue. This entire experience reflects poor installation practices, failure to disclose material requirements and costs, lack of quality control, and inappropriate handling of a serious safety hazard involving an active gas leak. Based on these events, I cannot recommend Quality Home Products of Texas.

    Stay away. They set a date and time to put in the concrete slab for our standby generator. We were…read more"first on the list for that day". No show. I called them and no one answered. Finally after repeated attempts, some one did. I was told the worker went to the wrong address. Then they did come a couple of weeks later to pour the slab. Then they came with the generator a couple of weeks after that. They could not install the generator because the slab was not level, not square, and in the wrong place. Couple of weeks go by and they came and took out the slab, repoured a new one. Then came hurricane Beryl. If things were done correctly, we would have been fine. Instead, my wife who was suffering with Bronchitis, and I were without power for 4 days. Then finally it was installed a week later. They do not communicate with customers. They just don't seem to care. After the generator was installed, the electrician set a date to come out and activate it. The day came and he was a no show. I called to see where he was and he told me that the company sent him and a different job. At no time did the company call us to tell us that the electrician wasn't coming. Again, lack of communication and concern. After speaking to a "customer service manager" we were told we would be compensated for our troubles with added complementary warranty service . That never happened. The job was supposed to have been completed per contract within 8 to 10 weeks. It was more into 12- 14 weeks. There was no after completion follow up. Again, it just seems like they don't care,
