This place has everything you need to take care of your home!

What can I say? How do I give 5 stars to a Home Depot location? I'll show you how. I came to the JAX Beach Home Depot because my usual outlet said they had 13 of what I needed - a Ryobi reciprocating saw to cut some trees and limbs in my yard. Well, 13 quickly turned to zero, so I was informed there were plenty of these at the JAX Beach location. Externally, this Home Depot was top notch in appearance. It makes you want to go in. But when I got in, I was immediately greeted with a smile and welcome when I came in. In fact, every employee I saw had a smile when I asked for assistance! Feeling welcome here and comfortable to ask questions is a huge plus for any store. Now I was looking for a battery-powered saw as my yard work got to be too much for my snippers and cutters. The gentlemen who assisted me were outstanding in getting the right product, along with an incredible blade to help me get the job done. I'm a huge fan of Ryobi products and have a good number of them. All are used and perform perfect for my needs. I certainly have bought other products (even a grill) at Home Depot. I will say, since I always look for deals, I manage to purchase great products at great prices and value. With Ryobi, once you get past the seemingly high battery purchases, the prices of the products as "tool only" are amazingly low. Another advantage I would say is that being a military vet, there is a 10 percent discount on just about everything they sell at Home Depot (I believe there are a few exceptions). I've purchased some Milwaukee tools, Knipex, Traeger, etc. I've saved quite a bit, and I'm grateful there are frequent sales on great items for customers. I also advise people to get the Home Depot app, whether you're on iPhone or Android! This is one of the best ways to keep up with the deals Home Depot offers. It's easy to make purchases off of it as well. I can't say anything negative about this location and really wanted to spend more time here during my visit. This Home Depot is the cleanest and best looking in presentation I've seen yet! Great work! I'll be back! Recommend: VERY HIGH

Popped in for a hunk of wood- contain the snickers- to attempt carving my first spoon. After weaving up and down the aisles, I found a chunk of poplar that looked as thought I can get 3 or 4 spoons out of. I have a friend who carves spoons and I used to carve walking sticks. I have been dying to try out my new spoon carving kit! I admit I am used to having at least one person ask if I need help- that did not happen in this store. This is my 3rd or 4th time at this location and I don't think I have ever been offered help. I did manage to find what I was looking for and then ended up buying some succulents too. The cashier was fast and friendly & I was on my way.

Love this Home Depot! Conveniently located near our lil place at the beach, this place has it all! Nice private parking lot w plenty of spots. Multiple entrances including garden and lumber departments. Pretty well staffed with friendly faces ready to help you. Karen in the paint department wow'd us with amazing service and an exceptional attitude throughout. She greeted us with a smile and clearly knows her stuff when it comes to paint. She asked questions about our project and made professional recommendations. They offer color matching service so bring a sample or swatch of your favorite colors and let them work their magic. Whatever you need for a painting project from brushes, rollers and anything in between, this is your place.

Do not care about the safety of their customers or employees. Observed multiple people in the store with NO mask on and when I discussed this with the manager, he didn't even attempt to offer the customers a free mask. I did and one of 3 took it and apologized. The sign on the door is a joke, must means there is no room for non compliance. Either change your sign or start enforcing what you claim to enforce by saying MUST wear a mask.

This Home Depot has a really great selection of products; you'll find practically anything you need construction, paint, & plant wise. It's always busy and they change out products seasonally which is always nice. It's sometimes a little short staffed making check-out a bit of a pain. One thing I really like is that the prices are fair. They have a price guarantee so if you find the same product (that they stock) cheaper at another store they will match that price and give you another 10% off.

Just a little further for the rest!

I told them the basic of what I wanted and I let them run with it. They came up with all the plants and the design and I even had a dry River Creek put down which is fabulous. It was one of the easiest projects I think I've ever been involved in and the project team that I worked with was great! They were the nicest bunch of people, so polite, on time, clean up was great including pressure washing my driveway. Darrell was the project manager that was responsible from start to finish. I pretty much left everything up to him and his expertise for suggestions, arrangements and most plants used. I wanted something low maintenance but aesthetically pleasing to the eye. His plan was perfect! Adam, the foreman, who actually supervised and did all the work out front was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Even asking him to make a change or add something was not difficult, he was so agreeable to please the customer. His Workman Kaboba and Jay work together so well it was pretty amazing to watch it all come together. Would I hire them again for another project, absolutely!

Any plants that die on site, even if the store doesn't water properly or puts them in the wrong sun/not sun spot, any returns of dead plants equates to the grower not getting paid. This rubbed me the wrong way, when I heard it. I am going to be honest- I still end up buying plants from said stores, but I do pop into various nurseries and try to support their small business. Since I broke out of apartment jail- I have plans for the house! For the yard- don't ask me what those plans are.... it's a vague concept right now. But as the young lady asked me what I wanted- ha! I want jasmine- shows me various jasmine plants! Yippee. I am thinking of maybe putting a tree in the front yard- those are in the back. Ok- I'll walk back there, or hop in the convenient golf cart with my plant guide! Zoom~ we are rolling up and down aisles of trees! John was thinking live oak which I love, but then I saw they had weeping willows! WHAT!??!!! And a weeping bottle brush! I need to do research and ask the hoa before diving into a tree purchase! I was looking over azaleas, hibiscus, sod (I need some for my front yard) and various other plants! They even had blueberries! hmmmm. Generally speaking- my thumb is green. I ended up with Jasmine and Honeysuckle and had to lay both down in my car- because they both had trellis attached and were pretty big. John caught me when I got home! In my work dress, with 2 massive plants, one on each hip. I did change into jeans before digging into the earth! I can't wait to go back for more! March should bring more varieties of flowering plants- good tip to know! And peak season will bring Sunday hours (currently closed on Sundays)- aka, March- April! This place is HUGE and they are right there to greet you and assist with anything you want to look at!
