Our horrible Samsung refrigerator went out recently. We went to Home Depot and worked with Rick Cooper. He was very helpful. We told him about a bad experience with Lowe's. It took us one month to get the dishwasher delivered and installed. That was unacceptable. Because of that poor experience, we chose Home Depot. On the 20th of April, Rick sold us a LG, dual ice maker, 4 door refrigerator. It was delivered and installed on 4/22/26 at 9:30 AM. Our old one was taken away. Only reason I tried Home Depot over Lowes or Ace this time was because I was given a gift card and this experience proves why you should never go to Home Depot. Placed online order for pickup of mulch etc. two hours later received email & text notifications order was ready for curbside pickup. Upon arrival an hour after I was notified, I followed online instructions to notify them to load my order. 20 minutes later and watching multiple employees just walk by and look at me then go back to playing on their phones, I went in to customer service. Three ladies working at desk. Only one customer being served in front of me in line. The other two saw me but never greeted me or asked to help. Ten minutes later, it's my turn and I tell them I've been waiting in pickup for 20 mins. The lady looks at her machine and says "sorry. I don't know why I didn't see this". She walks around confused and asked other ladies for help and comes back to tell me to go to Garden center and show them a barcode she handed me. I pull around to the Garden center where they told me and nobody was there. No order in sight. I walked in to the young girl at register (who was recording selfies) and explained my situation and asked where I needed to go. For 10mins she struggled on the computer, her cell phone and even my cell phone. A long line formed where other customers were badgering me because I was waiting on the girl. She looked at me after 15 mins and said "none of my stuff is working and I can't call anyone. G to customer service" where I just was. At this point, after an hour struggling to pick up and online curbside order, I walked back to customer service and ask for a simple refund. After struggling at register for 10 more minutes, they tell me the system is down and can't process a refund. I asked for the store manager several times. After 15 more minutes, not a single manager appeared or responded. Several employees attempted to help but none of them knew what to do and seemed to be annoyed with me and my issues. After almost 1.5 hours, I gave up and told them to load my order so I could leave. Again, they could not find my pending pickup order so they had to run all over the place to fulfill the order like I just asked for it. read more

We have been going to this Home Depot for several years and always enjoy the visit. The store has plenty of items that are always in stock and has several different choices. The employees are always happy to help and give their knowledge of how to complete any home project. The store is always clean and organized. I give the store less than one star mainly because of Traci, who works at the door Dept he is unprofessional, unwelcoming, rude, obnoxious, and flat out disrespectful.. Two weeks ago I placed an order for measurements and a door & blinds. The men taking my order was new he had not been trained Tracy, who was sitting next to him, refused to give any assistance to make our order processing any easier. He did not help in any way, shape or form . The man taking my order asked several times for his assistance. I placed an online order. I wanted to just stop on the way home from work, grab my order and go. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, that's exactly how quick and easy it was! As I was parking, in an Online Order Pickup spot, clearly marked with a highly visible orange sign, I couldn't help but notice a big sign giving a phone number with clear instructions on how to notify the store of our arrival, if we were having difficulty with the app. As I looked at the app to see how to check in, an employee came to my window asking if I was there to pick up my order, and she had it in her hand - I'd already let them know I was in my way. Could not have been easier! This was a great experience! I went back to Home Depot today (three days later) for screws. Going in, I was dreading a long search and a lot of head scratching while I figured out what I needed for the job I had to do, and where to find it. As luck would have it, an employee was in the Fasteners aisle! I showed him what I had, explained that I needed something similar, but longer. He helped me find what I needed, and where the package was marked with the size, so I could more easily find it myself if I have to. Within a minute, I was paying for my purchase. In the short time he helped me, he was very friendly. In the future, I won't be so intimidated about going into Home Depot with my very limited experience in all things...well, Home Depot-ish. I decided to go with homedepot thinking they were honest and trust worthy I had a home I was renovating and decided to install a kitchen from them . They said 2 weeks top to finish complete kitchen . It's been months and the plumbing os not done . The people who were sent to install cabinets cut the plumbing to short so there job would be easy to install . And then they tried charging me an extra 1500 dollars for there mistake. They said I cut the plumbing and they are not liable . I would definetly not recommend home depot for any service customers are last amd they don't care. I ended up paying to get the plumbing fixed myself. . Purchased a new refrigerator. Delivered wednesday 4/ 12/23, When i returned home from work 4/14/23 everything warm. Had stopped working. Called morning of 4/15 23 trying to send a technician in 6 days. Since it was over 48 hours from delivery when i called Home Depot takes no responsibility for it . Save yourself the time and frustration and go across the street. Curbside at this specific location should be called snailside pickup. It's molasses slow! Arrived about 45 past the hour, checked in as normal and proceeded to wait for 45 minutes for someone to bring. Checked in twice and called. Could I have just walked in, sure, but wanted to see how long this was going to take. Was picking up a shelf and 2 brackets, not 10 bags of mulch (speaking of mulch, last curbside across the street was 12 bags of mulch and was in and out in 10 minutes). Not only did I experience good customer service but good honesty here, too!! Start off, I was holding my wallet and cell phone together in one hand. I paid for the wood I bought. I went to joann after for foam and I noticed my cell phone missing. I had my wallet with me. I didn't understand why I had my wallet but not my cell phone because I was holding them together. I dug through my purse and didn't see it. Drove back to Home Depot and it was saved!!! Thank you so much for turning my cell phone in Home Depot employee! We come here SO OFTEN. Between gardening, DIY, and renovation we are more than familiar with this store. Everyone has been very helpful. Sometimes it is difficult finding a person but when we do find a person to help us out they have given us a wealth of information. Two stand-outs are the tool department and the gardening center. Unfortunately, I don't have the names of the people who helped us but the tool guy was the same both times so he might be a lead employee for that area. Told us everything we needed to know. The gardening employee was an older man with a wide brim hat and he was a joy! So friendly and happy. He buzzed around the entire gardening area helping everyone. I have seen him there multiple times. I take one star off only because their phone customer support is lacking. We bike/uber/truck rental to this location so it is important to know ahead of time to decide how to travel there if they carry something. 90% of the time the website tells us, but rarely (specifically with plants) online doesn't say and when I call they say they don't have it. Every time they have told us they don't have it, they do. I don't think they are checking at all. The last time the plant in question was covering an entire area of the garden center so it's not like it was hard to find or a "last one" type of deal. I've never had this happen at the Flower Mound location. Other than that, they have everything we need usually, are well organized, and very helpful. I only wish they'd improve phone customer service. read more

We tried to get help with placing an online order for flooring and apply our military discount. we were constantly being sent back and forth from flooring to customer service which shows how disorganized these people were. Finally the manager at the customer service arrived, which we thought she would help NOPE! They could not apply the discount. So we called and went to Home Depot in the Colon the people were so sweet! This location would be my go-to for home improvement purchases (other than Amazon or other online sources). It has the unenviable distinction of sharing the intersection with the Lowe's on the other side of the street. But despite the fact that this location is starting to show its age a little, I find myself generally favoring it to the aforementioned Lowe's. The selection is respectable, the prices decent. They lost a star from a recent negative interaction there, however. I had gone there to get a key made. They have both a manned kiosk for this, and a self-serve one. I went first to the self-serve kiosk, but for whatever reason the key was of a type that required me to use the manned station. I went there, but no employee was there. I walked to a nearby associate and asked if I could get assistance with a key. The employee working that key station came hurriedly over from stocking shelves some ways away, and got mad at me... yes, GOT MAD AT ME..because I apparently had made him look bad by asking for help with a key. They refused to cut a simple piece of wood 2x4 for me, even when I offered to buy a piece of wood, and also couldn't copy my key because it "wasn't in their system" even though they don't mention anything about needing a compatible key to be copied, which is completely ridiculous. Finally a HD offering tool rentals! We tried first at Southlake and Flowermound, but sadly they do not offer these services! Lewisville did and we needed a certain type of saw for a job in our backyard. $14.99 for 4 hour rental (but $50 refundable deposit via CC) and we were able to get the job done! :) We didn't want to buy as it would have been $110. I was very dissapointed with Home Depot. I just purchased $900 worth of product online to pick-up at this store. I wrote a review on it online at Home depot giving them 3 stars for water damaged laminate floors. I submitted photos and actually praised the product in every other aspect except the water damage (which costs them 2 stars only) and the home depot REJECTED my online review... really, it's "MY" review... It was a very good and honest review that was detailed and included 2 pictures of the product I installed and reviewed... I guess they want to dictacte their customer's opinions... I will not shop here anymore. Like I already do, I will use AMAZ ON for 90% of my home improvement products and the other store LOWs for the rest. ** Update** I guess Home Depot saw my Yelp review, LOL. We ran in to get a few things and decided to stop in the kitchen/bath area to check the hardware with our granite choice we were getting. The sales lady was very crass and made for a very uncomfortabl, combative shopping experience. I didn't even want to look at my selected items anymore because it was a very customer unfriendly environment. Sad thing, she was awarded a customer service award. He did an excellent job with removing my old door, installation of the new door, and cleaned up after himself, hauling off all the debris and the old door. I work here! And I love it. My co workers are like a huge family. We enjoy the company of our many regulars. I look forward to seeing all my contractor friends each morning down on the "pro" end. And did I mention Eddys hot dogs out front? We all eat them every day. Best around town guarenteed. I know we arent perfect all the time, but honestly, every day I hear from customers how much they love coming in our home depot. Many people who shop here are on a first name basis with the employees and seek knowledge weekly. Wednesdays during 7-4 arent the best time to come in seeking advice or needing immediate assistance on the lumber end. That tends to be the busiest day. read more

If I could give a Zero, I would. It seems I am in good company with this rating. It seems they don't care. I don't think I will ever visit again. I approached the return desk for assistance in locating a product because there was NO ONE else in sight. That woman behind that desk was helping someone else but NEVER acknowledged my presence or nothing. I finally saw someone and stopped him for help. I wanted to rent a Power washer, and the only electric one was out of service sitting among the rest of them. I proceeded to the garden center and No one was out there. No one was in any of the isles. MANAGEMENT, this is inexcusable and totally unfair to shopper. I went back to the return desk where there were two guys just yapping away about personal things. The guy behind the counter glared at me and asked "what do you need, mam?" as if I was a bother. Now, I am irritated. When I finally got my product, I went back to the return desk to check out and that old woman almost pulled my arm off, not allowing me to move away before manipulating the product. I literally yelled to her to STOP!. She didn't apologize or nothing. She was so inept she only charged me for 3 of 4 bags of soil. I went to the paint counter to ask them to page management. In the meantime, the old woman and the guy behind the return desk were locked shoulder to shoulder gossiping and looking my way. I kept standing there and management didn't appear. I asked the paint person to page again which he never did. I went on the hunt for the manager and was able to speak to him. The poor excuse from the manager is that most of their employees are out ill with the flu. Do they have the flu 365 days per year? There is never any help in that store. (Read the reviews before mine). On the way out, the old woman had managed to walk over to the paint guy and was locked shoulder to shoulder gossiping again. This is completely unacceptable. I have shopped at HD for years, even run a business with them as a main material supplier. but after todays interactions with their management and employees I will be giving my business to Lowes across the street or anywhere else at that matter. Went in for a simple return that I had previous called about. They sell fruit trees and bushes that mostly die before the year ends and they give you crap about returning it in store, even if you provide the photos of the dead trees, the credit card used for purchases, and the barcode that i happened to still have on a bucket one of the trees were, that i had repurposed as a tomato plant planter. Even after i went back home to dig up the root balls, per the managers request to return he still came back with rude comments telling me he was happy if I didn't shop there any more. After the money i have spent within that specific store and supported his worthless job, he has no sense of appreciation for customers that pay his salary. I will no longer shop at home depot and will continue to spread the the hatred towards this terrible company. read more

Beware of ordering appliances through Home Depot! They have a contract with an outside company to do the installation, and they do not stand behind the work. I found this out the hard way when the GE dishwasher installer failed to connect the drainage hose. Water drained out under my cabinets for 2 weeks before the problem was discovered, which ruined the wooden cabinets. Initially, Home Depot ordered new cabinets for me but then put a "stop" on the order without explanation.Now the insurance for the installation company has denied the claim and it is under appeal. So, 3 months later, no resolution of the problem. Home Depot has refused to do anything else about it , stating it "was between me and the insurance company". I am very disappointed in Home Depot. They take no responsibility for the work they hire out. read more
