This was the second HD I had to visit to get the necessary adapter for the 3-Prong Dryer that had a 4-prong outlet...tisk tisk. Honestly, the employee at the door wasn't too sure on my need, so the customer close to him said, "Ma'am, I can guide you" & that he did. So much so, the employee in the department knew the customer & spoke highly of him as a regular. With the help of the employee & the kind stranger I got situated. Same welcoming employees at Check Out. I've now been to the HD stores off of Cascade Road, in Douglasville, Cumberland, Buckhead & Midtown...adding Thornton Road to the top of my list. Easy access from I-20/Thornton Road, across from the Quick Trip.

Worst customer service ever. No response to any conversations started anywhere. Doesn't want to honor any discounts

I attended the Douglas County Master Gardeners Plant Sale for the first time this year. This…read moreannual plant sale is held the first Saturday in May. Initially I had mixed feelings but now that I am starting to really enjoy many of the plants I purchased, I can honestly say that it was definitely a trip worth taking. Here is what initially gave me pause about the experience : It was held in a small crowded wooded area with uneven terrain and plenty of bugs. This was a problem because it was difficult to get around with carts and wagons. If you are smart, you take your wagon. It could have been held in their very spacious parking lot which would have offered a much better experience. The volunteers who were hosting the sale were difficult to identify. It would have been nice if they had all been wearing matching fluorescent vests or name tags. This is a small town so there was a lot of "visiting' going on when more attention should have been given to customers who had many questions were often left searching for assistance. When it came to the plants, not all of them were accurately labeled or priced and this created an inconvenience at check-out. There should be a rule that before plants are put out on display, they must be correctly identified and priced. We purchased quite a few plants and now that I have been able to identify them and they are starting to bloom, I am quite excited. I purchased several plants that you won't find in a local garden center and they were extremely affordable. If you go, observe the following: Arrive early Use bug spray Wear comfortable shoes Take a wagon or cart for convenience. Most importantly, know what is a "must puchase " and get it first!
