So I don't have to download nothing. When I asked her about the bamboo fence that was to accompany my order, she walked away and rolled her eyes. Listen little girl, I could have been an employee from corporate-just because I wasn't dressed "the part". I will be reporting you to corporate most likely Mr. Decker and Ms. T Black! Another CSA stepped in the finish assisting me. I still didn't get my entire order (hence they didn't have it in stock) I do not have these issues at the Austell store ever. Time to go back. This Home Depot has been our go to spot. The Associates are helpful, knowledgeable, and even took the time to walk us to the section we were looking for and asked if we had questions. The prices for the items we were seeking were reasonable, with a couple of our major purchases on sale, like our washer and dryer. The installation was smooth. They are constantly stocking and helping customers so many times some aisles were blocked. read more

Usually have a good experience at this home depot but lately it's been bad. Technically it's our closest one but we go to the one on East west connector as it is closer to other stores we frequent. Normally this one is fine. Not great or outstanding but fine. But the last two visits, specifically for tool and equipment rentals were bad. Items available online were not there upon pickup with no reason given and no help or solutions found. Today we went in for a truck rental to return items we had to rent from that first encounter (that we ended up getting at a different location) and while they had them there they said they "couldn't rent them@ bit refused to say why but did say that they were not already rented by anyone else. Okay...cool. So you just decided to not make any money? Like what? I also had a pickup in store a few days before Christmas and it was in one of the lockers and the locker system was down and they almost told me I had to cancel my order and purchase again at a different location because they couldn't find the apparent one person who can manually open them. I added a star because in the years before these few back to back bad encounters this is generally an okay location but it seems as we got closer to the holidays this year they may have hired staff that is either truly incompetent or just plainly unprofessional. read more

This was the second HD I had to visit to get the necessary adapter for the 3-Prong Dryer that had a 4-prong outlet...tisk tisk. Honestly, the employee at the door wasn't too sure on my need, so the customer close to him said, "Ma'am, I can guide you" & that he did. So much so, the employee in the department knew the customer & spoke highly of him as a regular. With the help of the employee & the kind stranger I got situated. Same welcoming employees at Check Out. I've now been to the HD stores off of Cascade Road, in Douglasville, Cumberland, Buckhead & Midtown...adding Thornton Road to the top of my list. This store has definitely been through its ups and downs with customer service. For a while I would avoid this store like the plague because of horrible customer service. The had a couple employees doing a fantastic job but it was obvious that other employees were just putting in their time. I was called to pick up an order and when I got there the order was not ready- then a department manager got nasty with me. I stopped going there for a while. My next trip in and customer service was flat out amazing. I wasn't even looking for help but the folks were totally on their game. Fast forward again Today I picked up 3 items and spent around $30 I tried to leave and the alarm went off and the cart locks up. The self checkout assistance people saw me pay. I had my receipt in my hand. What the heck is wrong here. Not everyone is a thief. It's ridiculous to have to deal with this crap. Everything is locked up and you almost need to tackle a HD associate to get their attention to unlock a cage so you can make a purchase read more

I placed a pick up order at this location on my way to Atlanta... who knew blinds were so hard to come by! Once I got here I parked in the pickup spot and within 2 minutes someone was out with my blinds! They didn't ask to verify my name, etc but I'm glad I was able to get the correct order. Probably won't ever stop here again unless it's a similar situation. Can't really comment on other aspects of the store since I didn't walk inside. read more

Home Depot always has what you need at an hour when you need it. I had a kitchen drawer come off the rail and needed a new back for it. I am always amazed how they know what bin the replacement parts are in for everything in the store and what aisle. My approach is to look lost but capable. Lol At any rate, they never disappoint and will get you to your thing that fixes your whatever it is. read more

I made a purchase on a self check out machine and it would not give me the cash back. They said I would have to come back the next day to get it. While telling me it was Corporate policy they blamed me but tried to back that statement down. The machine said card payment only. It did not say no cash back. They also told me the machines were fixed 2 days ago and they knew one was not working but they did not know the one I was using still had the problem. They could have put an out of order sign on it. It's 2018. Poor customer service is NOT acceptable any more! read more

I spend hundreds of dollars every month at Home Depot. The location closest to me is at the following address: 1000 Thornton Road Lithia Springs, GA 30122. I received a 10.00 off coupon good towards a purchase of $100.00 or more. I made certain my purchase was over 100.00 and they would NOT honor the coupon. The coupon was valid but they would not honor it. I asked to see the manager, Mr Zim Hightower. He said he could not offer the discount because the system would NOT accept the coupon. Every company I have EVER worked for (specifically retail companies) had a manager override to solve these situations. Mr Hightower said he could NOT override and offer me a discount!!!!! Seriously they are HOME DEPOT! It would not hurt them to KEEP their promise to the customer. It is ALWAYS best to keep a happy customer. I will take my business elsewhere! read more

I have been a Home Depot customer for over 20+ years. I've only had a couple of high-cost installations, which at the time went well. However, I recently (June 28, 2021) decided to replace a storm and patio door while trying to take advantage of a 24 month no interest promo. I purchased the doors and installation and was told that there would be a 3-5-week delay on the storm door because I ordered a specific color. The WEEKS have passed (from July 6, 2021 to now, September 10, 2021) and after MANY, MANY, visits to the Lithia Springs store on Thornton Rd., where items were purchased, I have had conversations with the millwork sale clerks who took my order, the store's assistant manager (because the Store Manager was never available (always out or it was an off day), and the Customer Order Specialist, yet I still have no doors!!!! One of my last two visits to the store was to complain about the install date given of Sept 3, 2021. On the morning of Sept.3rd, the INSTALLER called to let me know that he went to pick up the doors and one of the patio doors was missing, therefore he could not do the install. He was upset because no one bothered to call or tell him in advance that the door was not available causing him to drive over 40 miles AND CERTAINLY/DEFINITELY NO ONE FROM THE STORE BOTHERED TO LET ME KNOW, after telling me to block a 6-hr. window for installation. Shabby business!!!! No it's Sh___y business!!! The second of my last visit to the store was to ask for a refund or some compensation and a valid install date. To this moment and date Sept. 10th 11:42 a.m. , after offering a comprising solution, I still have received no phone call, no install, no product! This is truly ridiculous. I'm making payments on a HM Depot bill for PRODUCTS and SERVICE NEVER RECEIVED!! I am asking for someone at Corporate to intervene! I think this is the best Home Depot in Atlanta. Everyone I have encountered has been such a great help. I work in the area and frequent this store quite often and I am always greeted with a warm smile. The ladies and gents that work at the Pro desk...GREAT JOB! What great personalities. The people in the tool rental department are also great. If you have to get some blinds be sure to talk to Dwight. He is friendly and helpful. Follows up with you on your order. I went in there to find a lightbulb for the refrigerator and the man was able to help me find the one I needed ... I had purchased the wrong one before.....who knew there were so many to choose from.
