Make sure when you go to get pieces and parts especially if you're putting together PVC and CPVC waterlines just buy two when you need one. Don't ask why just trust me you'll be glad you did. Also if you're doing CPVC make sure you get glue that is for CPVC. You can buy glue just for CPVC or buy the glue that's for PVC and CPVC which is what I recommend that way you don't have to worry about having one or the other just use the one glue for both. read more

Marble Falls (MF) is my local Home Depot (HD). Most employees are helpful, but some are blissfully ignorant, just standing around doing nothing, even when it's obvious help is needed, such as HUGE lines at checkouts. Word of caution, if you have HD appliances "delivered", the delivery changes the HD sale to an "internet" sale, and then MF HD no longer has ANY responsibility for the products they sold, even when you pay them in cash inside the store. Don't be fooled. Pick up your own items. The "free shipping" is just not worth it. MF HD management will do nothing, nothing at all, about any problem, except argue with you. Problem? Too bad, So sad! Your knowledge is key to buying products at HD. Don't rely on them. read more

Out of stock on some copper wire, but he had good suggestions about that too. Anyhow, I figured he was busy, but he took time to help, that's why I've given the store 5 rating. Never go to Home Depot in Marble Falls if you don't have to. We bought a frig to be delivered with an ice maker. When they delivered it it was the wrong ice maker. They ended up not having the right one in stock. Sent me a link to order one from the manufacturer. It ended up costing us $300 more for the ice maker and installation. They said they will refund the ice maker we bought from them and the installation cost that we paid for. BS because we are still out over $100 if they would have just done what they said they were going to do. Oh and they tried to blame me for picking out the wrong ice maker when I didn't! I recently purchased a Milwaukee 16' tape from this facility and tried to swap it out tonight due the fact it has stopped retracting in full! I was told by the returns clerk that I'd have to contact the manufacturer to return/replace this item. I asked to speak to a manager but never had that opportunity. Clerk walked down the aisle and after 2-3 minutes informed me that 'yea any company they (Home Depot) don't own I'll have to take that up with the original manufacturer'. What I don't think this clerk understands is that I/we use tools like this to make a living and there are many other options to resource product. The company which employees me spends $25K a year and my subs spent at least $110K in the past 12 months at this Marble Falls location during a local hotel renovation. What's most frustrating about this is the fact that the clerk was simply able to say the word NO to taking care of who I consider a very loyal customer...me and ultimately my subcontractors. Worst Home Depot ever. Placed an order and it took months and several trips plus hours of waiting just to get SOME of the order. Finally had enough and got a refund for the rest of what I didn't get. The store called twice in one day to pick up the rest of my order. After waiting and seeing employees just standing around I decided to pull the order myself from Will Call. I didn't see my order so I went to the shelf to pull from stock. Shelf empty. Went to Customer Service to have them check inventory and they had none. So to recap. I get 2 calls to pick up my order. I drive 30 miles one way only to find out the merchandise isn't even there. This is not the first time mind you. Never order from Home Depot. The Manager should be demoted to floor sweeper. I know Marble Falls is a small uneducated town full of simpletons but if we can train Chimps to go to space and Apes sign language surely we can train humans to check and pull an order before calling a customer to tell them the order is ready for pick up. THE worst HD I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I avoid going to this store unless it necessary only by my route and the job I'm on. Customer service is obviously poorly managed/trained. I've endured sexist comments to being completely ignored. Today I had a bat rub and tub surround to return that I had purchased at another store. The male lumberyard employees were on their phones while I unloaded both onto carts by myself. The returns department wouldn't accept the items and advised me I had to return them to the store where purchased. I then had to load the large box items into my trailer alone. Not one employee offered to help. Horrible. I would give this redneck store less than one star. If I could. During my last trip to Texas I needed supplies for a project I was involved in so I visited the Home Depot in Marble Falls. I was not impressed. It was hard to find anyone to help me and then when I did find someone I was surprised at how rude they were! I spoke to the assistant manager and was met with the same attitude! I don't know what the deal is over there but they need a dose of southern hospitality! I went there first because the Home Depot I go to in Michigan is great! Thankfully, they are not the only hardware store in town. I went up the road to Lowe's and got the kind of customer service everyone expects to and should receive! It was like night and day! I went to Home Depot to get a few pieces of lumber. There were three ladies who were in front of me and they bought a large framed in sliding door, a complete built in shower unit and another item in a wood crate. Me and another customer had to help them load these heavy items in their trailer while two employees stood and talked to each other in the lumber department. They saw us struggling to get the trailer loaded and and did nothing to help us. This type of service is unacceptable. I will shop at Lowes in the future. read more

Employees come and go half of them are not interested in being there.. flooring finally made it in at 9 in the morning on Wednesday the manager said I couldn't pick it up till 9:30 that night. Today, I spent the greater part of my afternoon trying to replace my grill. Since we live 20 minutes away, I got on Home Depot's website and ordered a new grill online. It asked if I wanted it assembled...why of course I do! Put in my credit card number and it said it would be ready for pickup TODAY, within 2 hours. Even better, it said it would text me when it was ready. Well, 30 minutes later I got a text saying my order was cancelled. Found an email saying the same. Called the 1-800 number, they said if it's a store pickup order, it goes to the store and they can't control it. So, the store cancelled my order. The lady called the Marble Falls store, they were unsure why someone at the store cancelled my order. After 15 minutes on the phone, I am told to place another order online. I do just that. 30 minutes later, yet another text and email saying my order has been cancelled. This time I called the store, the lady at the store says she talked to the lady from online customer service and is aware of what happened. I told her it happened again. She says she doesn't know why this keeps happening. She then says I can order by phone or come by. I said I would be happy to order by phone because I would like for it to be ready and assembled. She says oh, you do want to place a phone order? I said yes. She explains that I'll need to speak to the garden area supervisor to proceed with my transaction to see if any are assembled because she has only looked in the computer, she doesn't know if one is assembled and the assembly team only comes by once a week. I give her the SKU and my cell number and she says a supervisor will call me "right back". Two hours later, no call back. So, I head down the street to a competitor store, as HD clearly doesn't want my business, despite the fact I am there ALL the time. They have a nicer grill out front that costs $100 more at HD that is on sale and I walk out within 5 minutes, with a beautifully assembled grill, for $40 less than what I would have spent at HD. We tried to return it the next day and were sent to 4 different departments before someone would help us. On top of that we were accused of lying about the fuel. Each department was rude and passive. I try do most of my shopping at other hardware stores. When ever you come here to shop you need to be prepared because its like a scavenger hunt trying to find anything. If your not sure where to look and you ask an employee for help they will send you clear across the store, so when you get there you still cant find it so you ask again and the other person says its on the back where I originally came from. I purchased a new GE Dryer from the Marble Falls, Home Depot. The first load was fine. The next day it developed a clicking noise. I called the GE service number (which had the creepiest woman's voice I've ever heard) which did everything possible to redirect me to the web site. I should know better than to hope to actually talk to a person, so I logged on only to find out that GE wouldn't service it for 2 weeks! So I called the MF Home depot who gave me another number to call which connected me to the same creepy woman recording so I called Home Depot back. They told me it was a vendor issue and they weren't responsible. I mentioned that wasn't an inducement for me to buy anything else from Home Deport and they hung up on me. So yeah, I was snarky, but I'd spent an hour and 1/2 trying to get my less-than-one-day-old dryer serviced. I tried to put a review on the MFHD site but it says their reviews are for products only. Even when the installers were in my home to install my carpet and hard wood flooring, their friendly professionalism was huge in scope and sequence. Additionally, as the installers were working, I received phone calls throughout the day regarding my satisfaction with the work that was being done. Both times I have gone have been terrible experiences. Associates are lazy. I placed an order for pickup at 9am. Should be ready within 2 hours. I went in at 5pm to pickup since I hadn't heard anything from them to find out they didn't contact me because they couldn't find one item. I went and found the item myself and then had to go to three different people to find my order.... Second time I went I have a gift card with a $250 balance and they said it only had .01 cents. They said I need a receipt and to talk to the manager and it was a gift so how would I have the receipt? I got the receipt and sure enough they charged my cousin $250 for a $250 gift card. On top of that, their lumber selection is all out of order, unmarked, and terrible quality. So this location, and home Depot is an absolute joke. Lowe's is the only home improvement store I will ever go to again. Never had an issue with Lowe's. read more
