Service here is terrible. Needed a ballasts all up on top shelf not accessible. I could see what I wanted but couldn't reach a 10 ft+ shelf. This is not your average HomeDepot it's very crowded and the aisles are very tight. We ordered some shelves online and Jazzmine was a great help!!! She walked us to the back to retrieve them and unfortunately one of the boxes were open. She was able to replace the box with a brand new one and did not give us a hard time at all. If you want good customer service I recommend asking for her when you arrive at the store. Hope this helped someone. read more

I've had some issues with this store. By far the worst is when they charge my credit card before the delivery of goods. We purchased tiles on May 7th 2023. They claimed they would arrive by May 16th 2023. Here we are on the 21th of May and no tiles yet. They charged my card on the 7th. The tile are still not available and our project is on hold and so are our funds. Not cool. By the time I get a refund from them our project will be so behind schedule. Making us look bad to our customers. Should have gone with the competitor for a difference of $1.00 Per square foot. Lesson learned. read more

Ohhh, The Home Depot... this Cutler Bay store is one of those where my love-hate relationship kicks high gear. On one hand, they almost always have what you need, and their prices are good... but that only works if you know exactly what you need and where to get it. The Home Depot Associates are usually helpful and knowledgeable... but you have to go with a search party and sweep this store if you ever want to find one that isn't already helping another customer. Large Home Depot with a lot of choices! Came here looking for a fan (who knew it could be such a hard decision). This Home Depot had a large array of choices in display better than the Florida City one and Lowe's down south as well. Also, a fan I had been eyeing in Florida's city turned out to be on sale in this location! I bought two fans for the price that I was expecting to pay for one. My review is solely on their stock because I didn't have a sales person help me. Usually when I go to stores I try to find things on my own unless I absolutely need help. There were staff walking around constantly that I could have easily asked for help. Good location to come to when needing options for home renovation. read more

I understand Sundays are very busy for Home Improvement stores but today I waited over an hour to pick up my online order with no heads up from whoever was completing the order that there was a difficulty getting the item from the storage area. I don't mind waiting a little extra during busy times and for unexpected delays but good customer service requires good communication. The Kendall and 127 location has people outside to service curbside pickup which enables them to work directly with the customer. Would recommend using them instead of this location if possible. read more

I have been at this location since 5 am. We are expecting a mayor hurricane . I'm trying to get plywood to protect myself and my property a little bit . The manager is just being super rude. They have all the people lined in the parking lot under the sun and they don't seem to care. I understand we are under emergency conditions, but leaving all this people under the sun for 9 or more hours seems to Me an abuse. If we were lined up inside the store at least we could get the shade and the AC. We understand we have to wait, but we are not animals. I think during a crisis people should be kinder and helpful to each other. read more

This Home Depot has the best employees. First they have a lot of them,,, every time I turned I saw someone. And far they have excellent attitudes which is a plus. We came to get some painting materials. And we decided to ask about 3D wall panels in the carpet/rug section. There was a nice young lady there and another guy and she was awesome. She advIsed that they don't have any at the store but they do online. What really blew me away was when I went to pay the same young lady came up and told me that if i order them I can get gel with free shipping to the store. What made this extra nice was the fact she remembered us and gave us more info about the online ordering options. Which I thought was pretty cool. Highly recommend this Home Depot. It's packed but the service is too Notch! read more

Not as good as the SW 136 St (Sunniland) location. 1) There seems to be a nicer selection at the 136 location and the store seems a bit more rough around the edges. 2) There isn't enough parking, and the parking lot is set up stupid. 3) It seems to be day-labor central. It kinda gives me the creeps. I mean, the line starts 1/2 mile a way down around the corner by US1. Sorry if its not PC, but I try not to look the homeless guys that come up to my car window in the eye either. They still have what I need, basically. By 7:30am on any given Saturday, it's possible that I've made more trips here than an expectant mother with a urinary tract infection makes to the bathroom after a keg stand. In short, I'm familiar with this place. It's your standard Depot. 99% of the time they have what I need. 100% of the time they have shit that I really don't need, but I get it anyway because the price is too good and who knows, someday, something awful may happen that will require 10 rolls of electrical tape to repair. Then I will stand, beaming with pride over my 99 cents well spent. What's nice at this store are the employees. They really are friendly and helpful. My most recent purchase was a grill/smoker. I bought it unassembled. Once home with the pieces strewn across the patio, I realized that one of the steel legs was split. This was not something that electrical tape could fix. When I returned to the store the lawn and garden manager passed me. He stopped turned around and asked if the grill was broken in yet. I told him broken was the key word. He tells me to follow him because he's just finished putting one together. It's mine if I want it and he'll waive the assembly fee. To top it off another employee who was walking by with a sandwich in his hand proceeded to slip his lunch into his apron and offer to help lift the grill into my truck. I'd have offered them a beer but the keg was tied up again. read more

I don't think many know what is stocked in the isles. So they send you off to an isle hoping that you will maybe find it yourself or ask someone else who might know the answer. I've been coming to this home depot probably for the past 4 years and everything has been great until about 3 months ago when I started painting my house. I've been there 5 times to buy paint and every single time I have come across the same guy behind the counter at the paint section. I have never felt so disrespected by a complete stranger in my life. I'm not even referring to customer service, I literally mean any stranger I have ever had any interaction with. I just left home depot about an hour and a half ago ago and this was my exact experience; As I'm approaching the cashier he walks away to do something so I just wait patiently in front of the window. About 10 seconds later he looks back and we make eye contact and soon after he finishes what he was doing. As he's walking over to the cashier we make eye contact again and I say "how you doing man" and go into my jacket to take out my phone in order to tell him the specific paint names (I own on a big screen Iphone 8 and I'm clearly on the notes looking at a list that I'm about to read to him). About 2 seconds after I look at my phone he is at the cashier and violently knocks on the plastic/glass 2 feet away from my face (the woman behind/next to me even got scared and made a sound.) I look up and he says "wachu need man" in an angry tone. Not bothered or annoyed, I literally mean angry and as always he looks like he's about to blow up. I look back down at my phone and tell him what colors I need and I only get 2 colors in before he walks away talking nonsense under his breath and complaining to himself. After the first color that I ordered, he asks if I need "interior or exterior" and I tell him that "I need it for the bathroom so semi-gloss." He replies "so whachu want, exterior or interior?" I reply with, "O there's interior semi gloss?" (the reason I did not know there was interior semi gloss is because I was mislead by him the first time I went in but ill get to that later.) He says "yea man look"and puts a paper right next to the window for about 2 seconds and puts it back down" and again says "so wachu need?" I reply "interior" and he asks "how many gallons" so I tell him "the amount of the bucket right here" and he says nothing so I wait a bit for him to finish typing and then I tell him the following color and tell him "interior flat". He asks "how many gallons" again, and I reply "one of these buckets." He gets bothered and says "that's a gallon man" and I reply "ok". Keep in mind this is around 7PM and there's multiple people around watching this guy's tantrum. He sees that I go back to my phone to tell him the next color and he walks away to do something. About 10 seconds later I say "hey brother I have another color" and he walks back saying nothing and stands in front of the cashier without making eye contact. I tell him the name of the color, interior paint and 1 gallon and tell him "and that's it." He finishes typing and walks away. I encourage Home Depot to look at their cameras and see that what I'm describing is the situation exactly as it happened. The first time that I bought paint there, I went up to the window and asked him "hey what's the difference between interior and exterior paint? Like what about exterior paint makes it better for the outdoors?" I'm thinking that esterior probably lasts longer, deals better with water but that maybe it's more toxic, etc. He replies "well exterior is for the outside and interior is for the inside unless you wanna paint the inside of your house with exterior paint" and then he goes on to make a terrible analogy about how "you dont use a car inside the garage, you use a car outside on the street." He then shows me the same paper that he raised for 2 seconds this past time and says "look" and as Im reading he says that exterior paint has gloss for water. I couldn't ask anything else as I know he will be enraged so I say "o ok, 2 gallons of exterior semi gloss." I was buying this paint for my bathroom so I figured this was the correct paint to deal with water but since he was so incompetent, whether it's emotionally or knowledge-wise, I have just now realized that I have been buying exterior semi gloss for all the trimmings (since the trimmings are glossy) and bathrooms in my house until now when I only have 1 bathroom left. I've also seen this guys tell a woman "i dont know what you saying lady, you need to figure out what u need" and walk away. The lady only spoke spanish so that's why he was so incapable of having any decency or respect I guess. I see this so I come closer and ask her if she needs help (since Spanish is my first language.) She says yes and I go up to the window with her, wait for the guy, and make sure that I tell him exactly what she needs. I only described my first and last time there for paint but you can imagine the rest. read more

So very pleased with the helpful service I received tonight at the Cutler Bay Home Depot when buying a portable generator and air conditioner in perparation for what will soon be Hurricane Ian. The guys helping me got on the ladder to verify the stock of portable generators at the store, helped me load the (very heavy) generator onto my cart, and helped verify the generator could power the portable a/c unit. At checkout, my card was declined because of the large amount of the purchase, and the staff were very, very patient in helping me try different point-of-sale machines to verify it was indeed a card issue. A call to my credit card company resolved that issue, and once I finally purchased everything, they helped me load the generator into my car. These folks are truly the unsung heroes of retail when a storm is on the way. I cannot thank them enough for their exceptional service and helpful attitude in answering my numerous questions. 10/10. read more

I rented today 8/11/2016 at 19400 SW 106th Ave Cutler Bay, FL 33157 a flatbed truck for 3 hours but I took 5 hours to complete my tasks. When I returned it, the cashier told me that I was going to be changed for $55 total and I agreed. When I reviewed the receipt they charged $110 for a 24 hour rent. When I asked he told me "I told you and you agreed" but it was not true, then I asked to speak with a manager. The manager Carlos came and I explained to him that if I paid for 24 hours I want to keep the truck for 24 hours or a few hours more to complete the work. He told me that he can't do anything, "if you didn't read the contract it is not my problem" in other words I got F***ed. Very disrespectful manager and employees. read more

There is a huge difference from the morning and afternoon. I come to Home Depot anytime during the morning and the customer service and knowledge of the employees are excellent and very helpful. The evening shift isn't helpful because they are no where to be found. Need more employees. I had to go back to Home Depot later that night for one piece of ply wood to be cut. Spoke to the Home Depot employee, and he said " I'll be right back". An hour and 15 minutes no return. He was paged several times, and still nothing. Several websites list Home Depot as pet friendly. Today I learned just how accommodating they really are. My dog had an accident in the store this morning.. I'm talking a Mount Fuji sized accident right in the middle of a main aisle. This Poo was so big it was actually BIGGER than the oops bag I had in my purse. I WAS MORTIFIED. I asked an employee for a plastic bag and explained that my dog had an accident. The guy came out with a mask, gloves, an industrial sized garbage bag and paper towels and insisted it was no problem and that he take care of it. My dog has never had an accident in a store before.. but I certainly would not expect any employee to clean it up.. much less handle it so professionally. Hats off to you! You certainly went above and beyond and helped put me at ease in a very embarrassing situation. read more

This used to be my fav HD, they recently told me that they no longer accept my military ID card (access card) for discount -as a member of the US Coast Guard Aux, a recognized branch of the armed services. It's a shame as it's close to my house, for large purchases I will now go to sunniland as they still offer the discount to military personnel. read more
