I was seeking to repaint my front door which looked absolutely terrible with the original color and therefore went to the Sherwin Williams store who provided zero assistance and only told me what they couldn't do. Thinking I was now stuck at finding a perfect match in color I decided to check out Home Depot. Fast forward to yesterday....the young lady working behind the counter was absolutely amazing. She looked at the pictures of the door as it was and the color samples I liked. She immediately researched them both and showed me the swatch sample she had. Next she told me that I would really need to apply a mold killer as it looked like mold on my door and sanding it prior to doing that would risk inhaling it. She literally, walked me around the department to ensure I had everything I needed....mold killer, sanders, rollers, even a mold and mildew preventing primer. Now it came down to choosing the paint. She went and researched which product would be best for a metal door. Once all that was done it came time to choose the color....I was so nervous because I really wanted a perfect match (I have shutters that are the same color as the door and they compliment the rest of the house perfectly). I went with her recommendation. Got home and was so absolutely impressed with her selection...it was a perfect match. My only regret was that I didn't get her name. She definitely went above and beyond in her professionalism and care by walking me through this project. The door looks absolutely amazing and I can never thank her enough. I will definitely go back to the store to see if I can find her again for my next painting project. read more

Ordered appliances (2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, and 3 stoves) March 5th. They were supposed to be delivered today 24 June. They ended selling two of the stoves and were going to offer us upgraded stoves but they wouldn't get them until 24 July. Customer Service (Ron) is who we were talking to. We told him to cancel the two stoves and still deliver everything else. He said even if we cancel those items the delivery was still going to be 24 July. Customer service was very rude on the phone. He said no one could get us appliances earlier than a month. We requested to talk to his supervisor. His supervisor was very friendly and gladly cancelled out it. We went two blocks down the street and ordered the same items, with the upgrades, and they will be delivered Monday. Saved over $1000 too. read more

I order online, online shows 218 in stock, I get a call from Home Depot Middleburg that they have 0 in stock. I ask them to transfer my order to a much closer to me Home Depot in Oakleaf, "Can't Do it Sir". I used a gift card, "If you want your money back You have to come to the store and get in Store Credit card". It is NOT my fault their system chose a distant store. Poor Business Practices. I don't have these issues with Target, Walmart or Lowes. Hey, Home Depot, if your business is failing, just go Out-of-Business. read more

We've bought from this location before with little to no issues. However, we recently bought a new front door from them and I am so aggravated at the ways they tried to rip us off. They wanted to charge $500+ to install a $298 door. Plus $79 shipping even though they advertised free shipping. Although, this was the lowest priced door we found, but all the additional costs are enough to guarantee that I'll be a Lowe's shopper in the future. read more

Another crappy experience at this Home Depot. I guess I've been reminded again why we stopped coming here. Came for some paint for my daughter's room. Gave the guy at the paint counter the color card, talked about the color...blah blah blah. Got home and the color looked so light on the wall. We couldn't figure out why it didn't look right. Well, low and behold, the guy that mixed up the paint gave us the wrong color. How in the world that happened is beyond me. I guess he was too busy socializing instead of confirming the color and paying attention to his job. Unfortunately the wall was painted, but fortunately when we brought it back the right color was mixed for us. This location needs to get it's act together. Came here the day after Christmas hoping they would have stuff on sale... You know.... Stocking up for the following year. After scanning the store and asking an associate we were told that they did not have any Christmas stuff the day after Christmas... Okay not a big deal. Sorta. I was also in the market for a trailer. We tried to look where the sheds were, normally where we see trailers kept at hardware stores, no luck. Went around the building and towards the back is where the trailers are kept, only to not see a price on any of them. I had to pull up the Home Depot app and assume which trailer cost what. I love the Home Depot (any hardware store really) there is something wonderful about the smell of lumber. On the downside I am really disappointed with the selection of replacement parts for the grills they carry. I came in to get new grates for a grill I bought here and they didn't have any replacements. They had some generic "adjustable" grates but not what I was looking for. On the upside I am now starting two new projects after walking around and getting ideas.. I really shouldn't be allowed to wander unattended in a hardware store. read more

Purchased a pressure washer and other attachments from the Home Depot and to be honest I don't normally shop there and have been a long time customer of Lowes. Went to return one of the items 24 hrs later but had lost the receipt. Was reluctant about the return because most places give you a hassle. Christina at the customer service desk helped me and I see why she has so many badges for her service. She was awesome! Not only did she not give me any grief for the return but also was able to print me off a digital copy of my original receipt. Went above and beyond and also the level of the customer service was excellent from everyone. I will def start shopping at this Home Depot. read more

My parents got approved for affirm online and order a new AC last night. We all showed up this afternoon to get it. They grabbed a few other things in store and planned on using affirm for those items as well. They have used affirm both in store and online before. We all walked to customer service to speak with the lady/ check out. Her name is Misty. She didn't greet us, ask how can I help y'all, NOTHING!! My mom asked her if she could pay for the other items with her affirm. Before my mom could finish the question MISTY interpreted and say no no no we can't do that. After we tried to explain to her that we have done this before she would not let use talk and just kept looking at the computer. She said there was signs everywhere saying we could only do it online but there is not a single sign saying that. So we walked away to order online. My mom had a question and misty was busy so we walked to another lady and misty run up to us trying to take over everything and now trying to help. So I walked off and asked another employee but they didn't know what I was talking about and offered to get the manager but I was not trying to cause anything to her and if she had a bad day make it worse. I have to select a star so just one. They don't deserve that. If you are a retired or active military and sign up for the discount at Home Depot, beware! Check carefully to be sure you really get it when you make a purchase there. I purchased a riding lawnmower today. The clerk scanned my military discount app and said "Okay, got it." I thought the final price seemed pretty high but thought maybe taxes were more than I thought. I got no receipt until I finished paying. When I got home and checked I saw no discount. I called and then went back to the store and was told certain "vendors" didn't recognize the military discount. Plus, I had to wait and get a check mailed to me for the refund. Had they told me no discount up front, I would have just gone elsewhere. I plan to shop at Lowes in the future. read more

My Echo chainsaw quit cutting so in frustration I was off to HomeDepot Middleburg to buy a replacement. After unsuccessfully searching on my own for my target purchase, I asked the Customer Service Desk to check inventory for the saw I was trying to buy. The girl said "yep" we have 6 and they are back where I had just spent 20 minutes looking. I shared that I wanted to buy the saw in question so it was interesting that she did not offer to have someone go and simply bring it to checkout for me. We were after all talking about a $400. plus tax purchase. I guess she expected the 70 year old man standing there holding his American Express Card to climb up the racks, dig through the HD inventory, find the saw, climb down and then drag myself through self checkout. All for the privilege of making a $400. purchase and not inconveniencing any of the HD employees standing around chatting at 8:00 AM on a Saturday. I decided that being an unpaid employee of Home Depot was not a good job for me so I passed. Happy Note: American Sharpening in Orange Park actually "repaired" my saw for me that same Saturday morning saving me $400 and a trip to the chiropractor. As a rule I love Home Depot but customer service at their Middleburg location is simply not something they do well. read more

Buyer BEWARE!!! I purchased a refrigerator on 5/12, and it was delivered on 5/16. On 5/17, we noticed that it STILL was not cold (the manual said to give it 24 hours). I called HD, and the gentleman gave me the service number for Whirlpool. I called, and got a recording that said I had called outside of their business hours. Please call between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm Monday - Friday. Okkkaaayyyy. I called at 8:30 Monday morning. (Fridge is still warm). I am past my 48 hours, so now I have to wait for a serviceman to come out. I explained that I called within my 48 hours - they were closed. Nope. Mr. Helpful gave me the WRONG number. Tech comes out - wasn't able to fix it. Okay - I call Home Depot. So sorry... you have to go through Whirlpool. I call Whirlpool. So sorry....you have to have ANOTHER tech visit. As I a writing this, I have gone 2 weeks without a refrigerator, and have missed 3 days of work (1 for delivery, 2 for tech visits). Today's tech visit - we have to order an evaporator. FOR A BRAND NEW FRIDGE. The part will be in next week. Hopefully this will work. So, why am I giving Home Depot a bad review? Because they don't care. Oh, they are "so sorry" about the inconvenience. What they should have done is REPLACE MY FRIDGE WHEN I CALLED. Especially after I told them the number that was given to me was wrong, and that if he had given me the correct number, I would be sipping on a nice cold drink right now, rather than a room temperature water. read more

Walked in looking for new refrigerator .Had to order it and they were to deliver it their suggestion I was to have the old one removed so they could install.Took off work to remove and prep for new one after waiting three weeks.Got to within a 100 ft of house took it back and showed it delivered .After a day of phone calls they finally refunded me my 2300 hundred dollars. Went to Home Depot in Brennan Field horrible service. Their were five people in red jackets and none of them could cut wood. If they work in lumber then they should all know how to cut wood. This Home Depot is really nice. It's new, clean and the staff is relatively helpful. We have had only one slightly negative experience in the many hundred times we have been there Nd although I recall us being moderately unhappy, I don't remember why. We have dealt with the paint department many times and they are.competant and friendly. read more
