If I could give it a zero... I've been working on an appliance order for about 2 months now. Long story short. Order and pick up at store to prevent serious frustration, and I'm a contractor. Long detailed story. I purchased a fridge, stove, dishwasher. We selected the wrong dishwasher and went to change it. Apparently customer service cancelled my fridge and refunded it, but still put the order in for everything. The stove was delayed due to damage, then delivered two more times damaged, finally delivered stove undamaged. In between the damaged stove deliveries, Dishwasher was not supposed to get delivered and delivery company would not take it. I called HD(HomeDepot) about the incident and advised that when stove would be delivered they would pick up dishwasher. When the undamaged stove was delivered, delivery company would not take it without pickup work order. The fridge was finally opened so we could have a working fridge. WRONG FRIDGE!!! Wrong color, wrong make, wrong model. Come to find out, Fridge was ordered, dishwasher never canceled, fridge refunded. I don't think it's to much to ask to have the order fixed. I don't want a free fridge I didn't want. I want a fridge I paid for and will pay for. Why the $&@! would I want mismatched appliances if I'm remodeling. In that case I wouldn't remodel. I would just fix what is broken. My advise; buy and pickup yourself. Save yourself the frustration and do it yourself. Very very very disappointed with Home Depot all the way around. I've been trying to fix this with corporate since the store gives me the run around. I suggest get it at a appliance dealer or electronics place. Midland HomeDepot is the worst business so far. AWEFUL service. Received an email stating my order was ready for curbside pickup. I tried calling numerous times, but no answer! After waiting, I spotted an employee and asked about my order. He stated I would have to go inside to the service desk. After making numerous trips inside, my order was delivered but it was the WRONG ITEM!! I went inside the garden center to get my items but they were out on the floor. Had to make another trip inside and was told I would have to cancel my order. I stated inventory shows over 300 in stock. He said it would be another 45 minutes to an hour to get a pallet down. Employee asked if I wanted to speak with a manager. YES, I WOULD! Went there to place an order for millwork to replace my cracked windows. It's been almost a year, after someone came to do the measurements but no one ever contact me with the update. I have been going to the Home Depot many times but no manager available, no millworkers are available. Calling is also no luck. I finally got help from someone at the customer service that connected me to the millwork virtual team but after a few emails exchanged and a few voicemails left, I am still not getting anywhere :( I can only pray that someone will get a hold of me soon, after almost a year and my cracked windows is causing my heating bill going up during this winter time. read more

Don't waste your time here! If you go in the store and either need help or need to find something....forget finding anyone that works there to help you. The employees could not care less about helping a customer and had ridiculous, dismissive attitudes. I get finding good workers is hard, but the store MANAGER shut down two main isles for over 20 minutes so he could load lawn mowers on the top shelf during the lunch hour. I literally needed one thing off an isle and he was intent on stacking boxes on the top shelf even though he was aware of a line of people needing stuff where he was. I bought a hot water tank for a little over $700.00, and I asked two H.D. employees, if that included installation, I was told the price *did* include the installation price. That was incorrect. I was charged almost $1,000 for the installation, which was done by a third party company. I had to buy a washing machine and chose to do business with Lowe's this time. I saw the price for the washer and asked if the price included the installation, I was told it did. I bought the washer and had it installed and wasn't charged a larger price for it. I came to buy some pain because I ran out of the color I bought the first time so I came back and gave the worker the paint card of the color I needed and once I got home and used it I realized he made me the wrong color of white so I came to see if they can just make me a new bucket of paint and instead of refunding my money for there employee mess up I had to pay for the wrong one he made me and I only got 15% off the new bucket. I'd select less than 1 star if possible. I'm assisting with a remodel and we've had nothing but issues with Home Depot. We've been trying to get a gallon of paint that shows in-stock online- but when you get to the store there is none and no one will do anything about it... we also placed an order online that wasn't fulfilled. After contacting the store MULTIPLE times and getting hung up on after being transferred around, we finally spoke to someone with the online ordering who was able to assist us. I hired Home Depot to install laminate flooring in my home who contracts with Cooper installation. Cooper installation came out and installed flooring they did inform me I would need to have the toilets and pedestal sink in the bathrooms removed and they would move all other furniture. They removed my washer & dry and when they moved it back didn't properly, put the drain pipe back in the wall so when I did my first load of laundry it flooded my house. I had to have a company come out which charged me $4,700 to get all the water extracted from the carpet, walls and they had to tear out half of the laminate flooring. Cooper installation is refusing to pay these charges and replace the laminate flooring that had to be taken out. Home Depot is refusing to to refund the $5,700 I paid to have the flooring installed. After filing a claim with Home Depot because Cooper installation refused to make it right. I received this email stating they denied my claim for the following reasons: Your contract with The Home Depot state that it is the homeowner's responsibility to disconnect or reconnect appliances. Per our contract with The Home Depot- 0057 APPLIANCE- REMOVE AND REPLACE (WE DO NOT DISCONNECT OR RECONNECT GAS OR WATER) So what I don't understand is if it's in the contract and it's the homeowners responsibility to disconnect and reconnect the appliances why Cooper installations install team took it upon themselves to remove my washer and put it back instead of telling me I needed to I have it moved so they could finish the install of my laminate flooring. This seems like it could all have been avoided if Home Depot and Cooper installation would have properly communicated with me. Customers like myself think that by using a big reputable company like Home Depot that you'll be safe if somebody damages your home, but that is not the case. read more

So I applied to this job last month and ever since I applied to the job from that day on, I would call and check up on my application but so far I can tell you that customer service sucks. An associate will answer the phone and transfer me to an HR department or a manager but every time I do get connected they either don't answer or they tell me they will call me back. This is a late review. I used to go here about once ever 2 weeks. A good store. Most of the people are knowledgeable. This place is always busy. I was here during the big oil boom. When they were drilling. As I walked towards the entrance there was a huge sign. Now hiring 16 and 17 year olds. Midland with its lack of workers needed to dive into the teenagers. High school students. So be careful who you get info from. Like I said most of the people are knowledgeable. The store is very clean and well maintained. Meaning the shelf's always look full. Let me just start this off saying, I like Home Depot in general. This store, the one in Midland, is the worst store. Like if I could give negative stars, this would be negative all the stars. Here's why... A month and a half ago my husband and I made the mistake of falling in love with a vinyl flooring offered by Home Depot. We decided we wanted to have it installed so we asked to see an associate in the flooring department to get it all going. Reasonable enough, right? Wrong! It took 30 mins for anybody to come help us, but we didn't worry about it because she was very nice about it, it was a manager, no big deal. So why the negative review? Let me explain.. The guy was scheduled to come out between 8-5 on my off day. I spent all day waiting for this guy to come out. He came at 6pm, with a phone call 10mins before he was going to be at our house. Waste of my day. Then when we try to pay for it, the online service wasn't letting us, it kept saying error so we decided to go into the store to pay for it. We went in one night, my husband, myself and my son. We asked for someone to help us, they called someone over the loud speaker, we waited, 20 mins later, still no one came, I tracked down another associate, asked them to call someone to flooring to help. They called over the loud speaker, we waited, 20 more mins, nobody came over. An employee walked past the flooring desk, asked if we needed help, to which we said yes, they paged someone again. Yep, paged someone to help instead of helping.. 20 more mins go by, STILLLLL NOBODY. My husband tracks down a different employee, asking for a manager to come to the flooring desk, they paged the manager, 20 more mins and STILLLL STILLLL no help!!! Mind blown at how awful this store is. We left, vowing to never use them again if Lowe's has the flooring we like, we would boycott Home Depot. Well I checked Lowe's, they don't have the flooring we love. I married a stubborn man, once he makes up his mind there is no changing it So back to Home Depot I go, right when I go in I ask to speak to a manager, to maybe get some help.. 45 mins later, FINALLY a manager comes over to help. She had no idea what she was doing. Which is fine, at least she was helping. She erased the order like 3 times though and started over. Again no big deal, what irritated me though was that I just got a bunch of excuses for the lack of help and she just picked a delivery date for us, without consulting me about whether or even worked for us. Well now, a month and a half later, we're still waiting for all our flooring to even come into the store. I've called and tried to ask about it and they tell me they can't find it.. so I'm sitting on hold, while they try to find my flooring typing this review.. Do yourself a favor. I ordered 2 doors, I walked in and the attitude was what is the least effort I have to make for you to go away, I asked if they would load them, I got yeaw, I asked how long would the wait be, the response was 10 minutes........ I waited 30 minutes, I went back in and asked if the doors waiting were mine , I got another yea. I asked if I could take them, yea again... I loaded both doors by myself and had to go purchase rope from another place, I called and spoke with a manager, she promised to get back with me, that was 05/16/2022, I still have not heard anything from her or the store... We went to home depot to purchase shingles, my husband told me to park at the contractor entrance while he went inside to make the purchase he was told to go back and count how many shingles were there. We then went looking for some assistance when what do you hear over the intercom for us to move our vehicle after we had been there for about 20 mins. I asked for the manager and after I had the move and all sorts of things goin on she gonna give me the robotic corporate answer but did nothing to solve the problem then they couldn't load the shingles onto our trailer so my husband helped them load the trailer. I had just gotten home from the hospital after having major surgery, and we were having problems getting our central air unit repaired, so the need was urgent. Unfortunately, my husband didn't know about the early closing, so he got there just as the store was closing. Every time I go it looks like they are in the process of remolding. Everything is everywhere. Most of the supplies are just thrown wherever and don't have the correct price listed. 9/10 times you aren't going to find an employee. It's like nobody works there. When you do see an employee(s) they are goofing off. Very few seem to be helping people out. I've learned to just stop asking for help because most of the time when you do ask for help locating something, they either don't know where it is or just look at you like you are from another planet. Now with that said, I've had good encounters with some employees who are going above and beyond to help everyone in the store. I don't know if this is just because of the pandemic now or what but you only have two cashiers. The rest are self checkout. There are four self checkouts and most of the time you have to have an employee enter a code so you can continue to scan your items. Well let me correct myself, three because one never works. If the person in that particular department isn't present then no one will help you period. They aren't capable of pulling someone from another department to locate an item. Dept. manager showed me where it was and when they didn't have enough on the shelve offered to look in the back for more. When I finally found someone to help, I guess I ruined his day by asking for help bc the employee was very rude and short tempered. He told me he didn't know what a rivet was and said "I do t know where it is". I want to say his name way ey or something like that. It was hard to see his name. So he tells me "go to 13 or 14 somewhere in that area". So I left. Now I was wandering looking for this rivet and a nice lady asked what she could do for me. I tell her and she types it in. I went to Target next door to get what I needed but Target was dirty, understocked and didn't have what I needed so I went to Home Depot. As with all Home Depot stores, they are overpriced on many things, but not bad enough to really hurt the rating. I went to get a patio furniture set that was on sale. It was sold out by the time I arrived. Bianca, Mallory, and Teresa tried to help me get one by taking the time to call other stores to see if they still had any in stock to see if they could have one shipped to the store. The table was sold out everywhere, unfortunately. The effort they made a very sweet and big gesture. They could have just said it's sold out and walked awa,but they didn't. He found the item immediately for us and we were on our way in a jiffy!!! There was another young man operating a fork lift on the aisle and he was extremely pleasant as well!!! Loaded almost 40 2 x 4's and a miter saw since it was on sale as a bundle for $599.99 with a stand and went to cash out turns out they didn't have the stand that was an option with it in stock. The people didn't have any knowledge on the products they sell in store and all the 2x4's were either in the wrong spot or the price tag was not in the right spot. Took my business to Lowe's they had the same miter saw and stand same price and in case they didn't have that they also had a similar miter saw for 399.99 in stock.They knew more about the products sold there and within 15 minutes I was in and out with everything I needed. Home Depot needs to do some organizing and some homework on their products. read more
