They subcontracted the work to unreliable installers who never finished the job, and now I'm left with incomplete work with damaged windows Not what we paid for, unanswered calls, ignored emails, text and no refund. Home Depot's lack of accountability is appalling. I've tried every avenue -- calling customer service, emailing local and corporate offices, even texting the contractor -- and received nothing but silence. They took my money 73K and vanished. Avoid Home Depot for any window installation work -- they clearly don't stand by the contractors they use, and customer service disappears the moment they cash your check.

    Good prices, good quality items, and bigger selection than the location on Alafaya. I can't complain about anything, the only thing I can add is that this place is big and therefore has more items and variety.

    I love this Hone Depot location because the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I rented a trailer and some tools for the garden and everything was all set for me when I got there. I also ordered some multichannel and dirt for curbside pick up and it was so convenient! They even loaded all the bags into the van for me. This is definitely my favorite location :)

    Unpleasant encounter at Returns a little over a week ago. I give 2 stars because I am a HD junkie and love shopping here. This incident brought them down from 4 stars. I bought a $611 Suncast storage shed in a sealed container. When I opened it up in the afternoon to put it together, I saw damaged goods, plus a unit partially assembled. And all the hardware was missing. I was upset and went immediately to Returns. They distracted me for 20-30 minutes after I told them I wanted a refund. This was so they could put together a "case" against me. BLUF: They denied the return because they had photographs proving that the box was sealed when I bought it. So what! All I know is what I saw when I opened it. They insinuated I was a crook, so I left and dealt with the manufacturer who at least gave me another bag of hardware. I'll bet the manager and staff high-fived one another in the break room over their great victory. Lesson for all: Ask to open and inspect "sealed" cardboard containers before you buy the item. Another lesson: Calm down before you go to Returns. My agitation with the situation did not help and could be why they did not offer an exchange. Ridiculous that they thought I somehow received a pristine set of parts, then replaced them with funky ones that I could "sell" back to them. I have spent thousands of $$$ at HD in the last year and a half with only 1 returned item. In the end, so what if they think I'm a thief and a liar. God knows the truth. He sees everything. He saw me open the package.

    No surprises here, it is a Home Depot store. Hit or miss on the customer service department as it tends to be a bit challenging to find help throughout the store, and if you do... it may be or may not be the friendliest. This lack of consistency can be a bit frustrating as you never know what kind of experience to expect when you visit. Overall, I usually find everything I need by searching online, the results are pretty good as you get the aisle and bin number of the item. Those guys from Tesla can be a bit annoying, especially when they pretend they work for the store only to try to pitch you.

    Establishment closest to you may offer a free kids 5+ DIY kit once a month. Call the customer service Dept ask if they have them. The stores use to offer this event in the stores but Covid changed that, now you can reg your child & as of yesterday that's not even required. Around the start of second week of month you just call ask for the free DIY Kids kit. Make sure you ask for the free one b/c they do sell these kits. It's just cool to make a wooden toy/project with your child. If the service desk doesn't know ask for Mgr. You have to pick them up & help your child a cute summer activity and thank the sponsors. If you're thinking about going, they are celebrating their 7th anniversary with all kinds of deals through MAY 25! The first standout is the customer service. I received help from Blaine (sp?) today. He is knowledgeable, honest, and easy to talk to. I needed help repotting an orchid. First, I couldn't believe how affordable it was - only $8. Blaine handled my plant with care and explained every step he took, going into detail of why he trimmed certain things, explaining the moss that it needs, and gave me instructions for a watering schedule. He clearly knows his stuff so I also got his advice for my plant purchases as well! I bought 2 cute plants with pots for my patio. Blaine even potted those too. Beyond the service, there was an array of plants and pots in a variety of price points. What also drew me is that there is a diverse collection of popular plants but also rare ones too and they all are grown locally at the BWH Greenhouse in Apopka, FL. The shopping experience is also delightful as there are 2 comfy leather couches to sit - it made the space feel so inviting. I saw several people stop to chat with coffees while I was there. The corner shop seems to have made the most of every square foot. Besides the plant-lined space, and in addition to the cozy couches, there was also a work station for the repotting, and an event room with a large table. Jungle Room by BWH Plant is not only a plant shop, but has community-building experiences too. They offer a variety of reoccurring events and workshops like BINGO, paint your pet, making terrariums... I can't wait to start attending! Location is excellent in The Drive, the main street for shopping and dining in College Park. There is plenty of free street parking in the area around Jungle Room. Note that they are closed on Mondays. Open 12pm-7pm Tues-Weds, 10am-8pm Thurs-Sat, and 10am-5pm Sun.

I was particularly impressed by the two orders of the Philodendron Atabapoense. They were both ~17" tall with Lots of leaves. I'm pretty certain that each had a 12" leaf in a 4" pot. Unreal In addition the Stunning healthy plants, I was just as impressed by the care that went into wrapping & packaging. It was more than a consumer would ever expect. I order many plants online & either plants were crushed, a leaf/stem broken, an over-abundance of soil in the box (which makes it very messy); or.. you need a battle axe to unwrap the plant. But not this shop. Every step of packaging was handled with care. I was incredibly impressed. Corrugated cardboard protected the plant, a white grow bag material covered each individually, and fluffy cotton wrapped around the soil. Not only were the plants Large & Healthy, beautifully wrapped (by Taylor - Thank Youuuu!!!) Now let's talk about Leveling Up the game. I was surprised to see another Gift- a Story on your individual plant via a QR code! What?! . Can we talk about "Attention to Detail & elevating the Experience?". Absolutely couldn't be happier! Healthy, large vigorous plants at a reasonable price, but what really set them apart was the careful packing. One Drosera even had thread - thin flower spikes, which are intact. Personal email contact (not just canned text) to be sure they were shipped before weather dropped below freezing was especially appreciated. Points for Sarah!
