Quick response time, amazing communication, easy system to pay! My dryer stopped heating up and I assumed it was the heating element. Reached out on Yelp through the project section and messaged 6 placed. Big Mikes was the first to respond and had the appointment set within 20 mins. The service tech arrived on time, had the parts with him and was able to fix it on the spot. He was in and out within 10 mins. The diagnostic, parts and labor was around $230. First of all, I didn't realize you could request expert service on a project you had right on Yelp! I just listed that our stovetop was not keeping correct temperature and Yelp did the rest, contacting 3-5 local repair services with great ratings. Big Mike's was the first to reply and said they could have a repair person out the next day and gave me a quote. After checking their great reviews, I scheduled time with them. Eugene showed up exactly when he said he would and looked at our stove. He tested the burners and determined the issue was the temperature controls for the two big burners in the front. He also said they go out the most often since they are used all the time. He found the parts and gave us a quote on the spot. It was going to be somewhat expensive but less expensive than getting a new stove so I agreed. He said they would contact me when the part came in. Two days later, the office called me to schedule an appointment. Again, Eugene came right on time. Turns out, the supplier had sent the wrong part. Eugene said they would reorder and I would not be charged for this visit (and I wasn't). Another two days and the office contacted me to schedule again. Again, Eugene was right on time, this time with the correct parts. He put it together super quick and we were done!
