I'm giving up on this place. I've got a Pro Elite account there, so a tiny discount. But, not worth the hassle. This last visit I was going to pick up 20 90lb bags of concrete. Couldn't find a cart. I found one behind the old Pro account desk that had drywall on it. (Wrong cart for drywall, unless they want it cracking) I asked to use it. A girl walked everyplace I had, looking for a cart. After a few minutes I repeated my question, can I use the one they have sitting behind the desk. She said no. I went to Lowe's, across the street they had carts and the concrete. Since I was there, I checked tile that we will need in two weeks and they had it too. Ended up taking the concrete and ordering the rest. A $2600 order and new account. Most likely poorly stocked HD in the valley. Always lower selection than the palm desert store. Additionally HDblocks cell reception in building so you have to use their wi if to find things w HD app. But it is always down or ultra slow. This location needs better management as these problems have annoyed me for years. Use the Lowe's across the street as it is mostly better except people are less helpful than HD. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Disappointing and misleading promotion My husband recently applied for a store credit card solely because of a promotion that promised 25% off just for applying, whether approved or not. He was approved, but when he chose to pay with cash instead of using the new card, he was told he wouldn't get the discount. This directly contradicts what the promotion stated. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and the staff didn't offer any helpful explanation. If a discount is tied to applying, not using the card, then the store should honor that, regardless of payment method. Very disappointing and makes me question how transparent this company really is with its customers. read more

This Home depot is so different plus unique to me in many ways than any other Home Depot I have every been in. There was so many parking spaces available, no one shopping in over 100 degree weather, it we hot walking on the ground. Time you hit the front door cool relief with a smiling welcoming greeting from the staff. The store was clean on the outside as well as inside too, you didn't have to look for some one to help, they find you. They were very knowledgeable helpful also professional, we were in and out in about 15 to 20 mins. read more

She was engrossed in a conversation with a man, made me wait, and then questioned if I was with them. I was quite taken aback. By far the worst customer service by the MOD ont this date and time. Stopped by the HD in palm Springs CA with a dying plant that was purchased on Feb 14th of this year. Unable to return or get an even exchange because it didn't have an attached barcode to it . Even though the SKU showed on the receipt and I also went to get another like from the garden Dept, still was not able to solve the issue. Being a loyal customer of The Home Depot for almost 30 years I had never encountered such an hostile experience . I was simply standing in the same area where everyone orders paint, I only then moved to the front center area where you pick up just so that they would notice that i needed help.. BUT NOPE kept flirtatiously fraternizing .. But then another customer comes up and suddenly it was time to work, but when I was standing right there, it wasn't? Not sure if it's because I look incredibly young for my age or if it's because of the way, I was dressed today that people looked at me as someone not to be taking "serious", however when i'm spending $18,000 on simple kitchen remodel for 1/8 homes i've inherited and if I can't get a simple store manager to come speak to me about how I feel his/her employees should conduct themselves while in their work place around customers ? Absolutely horrific. I walked in needing 4 packages of ceiling fan blades. I found 1 package of the ones I needed and it was opened. I went to a cashier and asked to have the item looked up to see if there were any more in stock. The worker happened to just have come on shift so she had to use a computer she doesn't normally use. OK, that's fine...but another worker came up and said, I need that computer - in the middle of me trying to place an order. The original person helping me said, you need to hurry because she needs this computer. Seriously? I need to hurry so she doesn't have to use the computer NEXT TO YOU? Newly addicted DIY-er here!! I recently went into Home Depot to get my paint remixed or "shaken" I think it's called. And came out with 3 plants, a water dispenser and some plant food . *insert Kanye shrug gif* Let me tell you why: Customer service! The employees are nice, patient , and knowledgeable. I am what you would call an inquisitive person. I will ask you one trillion questions about any and everything. The employees happily answered all of my questions about the products and when they didn't know, we read the label together or found someone who could help. Prices - I spent under 300 and was able to get a water dispenser (bottom loader, since those bottles are heavy lol), 3 waters bottles, 3 house plants- a Zanzibar Gem, Monstera, Money Tree, and even some plant food. Quality and array of products- all of the plants on display were happy ones! And the water dispenser area had too many to chose from! 10/10 I love this place ! read more

We have a delivery scheduled, and time given is 6am to 8pm. When I called to get delivery time changed to mid day, I was told they couldn't do that, and delivery might be here around 10am. We get deliveries from Lowe's, and they give you a 3 to 4 hour window from delivery. They also call before arriving at our home. If I could have gotten everything at Lowe's, I would have. read more

I asked to speak with the manager and Milos directed me to Crystal the store manager. I explained my situation and Crystal made an outstanding executive decision and granted me the 10% discount by using my Home Depot credit card without the store coupon. Worst experience EVER in appliance purchased. When I was at the store, I told myself... it's COVID they are probably short of staff, I should be patient and understand. After spending so much money (appliances are not cheap) - I get them delivered at 7am by two people that have a HUGE attitude. One of the guys said "I have to break my back to bring them in for you" with an angry-like tone of voice and bad attitude followed by "do you want them or not?" Then he tells me I need to empty my kitchen cabinets for them to put in the dish washer. I do so in a hurry and then he tells me that he is NOT installing it because the dishwasher is not next to the sink. Which he could obviously see that it wasn't before he asked me to empty my kitchen cabinets. When at the store the sales lady suggested I get a different kind of water line for the fridge. I paid the extra, and got what she suggested. When they come here to "install" it, the guy says, they don't do water lines and that I need take care of it myself. I said lwish someone had told me and I would have done this prior to the delivery" . The guy tells me: "this happens every day, I have 22 installations today" (with the implication and tone of voice that none of the "installations" will happen or most of them. So in reality, the "installation" is not an installation. The people are just delivery people and they do nothing other than deliver and plug IF to the outlet if it right there. If it's not within inches, then they don't do a thing. AND they are NOT Home Depot. They are subcontracted and they were quick to tell me that they are NOT Home Depot and if I have a problem to let them (Home Depot) know. And when they say that they say it with a smirk-laughing tone. I am really speechless. They call someone on the phone to report: "delivery only, no install, connection far, do you want to talk to customer?" I talked to the lady, she says pretty much said the same - with the same dryness and lack of care: "delivery only, no install, Connection far". I tell her that the connection is not far and her response is: "do you want it or not?" ... with the SAME attitude I got from the delivery guys. I responded to her: I don't know until I talk to Home Depot, since I just found out you are not Home Depot. The lady response was: "ok, delivery only" and hangs up and as soon as she does I hear her tell the guy over the speaker cell phone "delivery only" and that's that. As they walk out they tell me I have 48 hours to let them know if there is anything wrong! I called Home Depot. I asked to speak with a manager... a guy named Miguel answers the phone and he tells me that he is the manager after I THINK I heard him say: "there is no manager, how can I help you" and I responded: "at what time will the manager be there?" In reality, I didn't care if he was a manager or not, I just wanted someone to help me. Miguel says he will put in a call to have someone come back to give a second opinion on the install. The problem now is that I have 48 hours to let them know if anything is wrong and since the appliances are not hooked up- I don't know. Someone, named Jaime just called me back from Home Depot saying they could send someone out for a second opinion next Tuesday. The problem is that today is Thursday and next Tuesday is way past the 48 hours. So his suggestion is that I call Samsung and have them swap the appliances and that will give me time to call a plumber to get the hook-ups for install ready. Jaime tells me that the 48 hours is to exchange only and not for refunds. Ohhh I also paid money for them to take away the old appliances. The old dishwasher they didn't take and the old fridge I gave away yesterday. Unbelievable!!!! My advise: don't buy appliances from HomeDepot if you can help it. If this app would allow me to give them a less than one star, I would. read more

Tried to buy refrigerator... tried to give them my money. I went to appliance dept picked out the refrigerator I wanted to buy then looked around for an employee, none to be found. Walked up to front , asked a cashier for assistance, she made a call to someone, then told me I had to wait till she was finished checking out customers. I walked over to customer service/ returns , 4 employees standing there, only 1 of them with a customer the other 3 talking among themselves. I approached them, told them what I was waiting for, and one female says " oh yeah, I got a call about you, the cashier will help you when she's done over there." Really , while 3 employees stand around talking, I'm supposed to wait. I was there almost an hour . Needless to say I walked out after she said that to me. This one star review is related to the contracted appliance installation company that Home Depot uses in the Coachella Valley called TEMCO LOGISTICS. I recently ordered a dishwasher to have delivered, installed, and the old one hauled away. They found every invalid reason under the sun to not do the job they were contacted to do by Home Depot. TEMCO LOGISTIC would not haul my old dishwasher away and they were asked to leave 1/2 way through the install of the new dishwasher because I was threatened with violence and called slurs by the 2 people that this company dispatched to my home in South Palm Springs, CA all because they did not want to properly do the job for which they were hired. This left me with an old broken dishwasher and a new one that was not installed making my kitchen sink unusable until I had someone else come and install it for me. You would think that with as bad of rating as TEMCO LOGISTIC has that Home Depot would try to find a better contract company for appliance installs. I would suggest that you as a consumer find out who will be doing the install before you purchase delivery with install from any Home Depot in the Coachella Valley. If its TEMCO LOGISTIC... I would and will be from now on be hiring someone else to do the install. read more

Had the unfortunate experience of having to go three separate times this past week while working on a painting project. So, I asked this young woman where the paint thinner was and she walks over to an end cap and pulls out this random gallon size container of something that was not even related to paint. She really thought it was paint thinner, and when I asked if there was anything else, she said no this is all we have. Wow! Next, I asked two employees who were standing there talking to each other if they could tell me where a certain item was and they pointed me in a direction sort of close to where the stuff was. Apparently, visiting with one another means that they don't have time to help the customer. Rude guy, asked for help because he had an orange Home Depot shirt on and he said you'll have to ask someone with an "apron". He told me he's a vendor, and he doesn't help find things. Need I go on?
