I went here Saturday to rent a chainsaw the guy charged me $50 for the deposit and 9.95 for when we return it in 4 hours. Upon getting home my husband then tried to turn it on and the chain fell off. My husband and my dad tried to put the chain back on and weren't able too so we called the store and the told us to bring it in to see what they can do. Took it back in and the guy said it shouldn't have even been rented because the screw was missing to tighten the chain. He then tells us that the deposit will be returned and charged 9.95 for the 1hr and 9min we had it. Days later the charged was never take off. Called Home Depot and they said it's not showing in there end that is was supposed to be refunded. The supervisor Steven said he will call me back or in 30 min and if I wanted I can call him back in 30 so I called him he was at lunch and the guy who picked up said that Steven told him to tell me that it will be a day to get an answer. So I called today he then tells me that we refused to get the chainsaw fixed so they charged us still for a broken chain saw. Which they never offered to fix for us or reset the time like this guy is claiming. Now what I don't get why lie? Why not own your mistakes not everyone can just throw away $50 for a rental we didn't even get to use! Just got the guys name it's mike at the rental department of Home Depot. He should be ashamed to cheat people. The supervisor finally agreed to refund the money after I told him I was going to continue to fight this because it was not right or fair that an employee lied that way to get out of trouble. Went today it was packed. We are trying to move a couple of our sprinklers over 2 feet. Even though we read DIYs and watched YouTube how-tos, we were totally lost on just how to begin and overwhelmed by the choices. We never asked for help, but Meghan noticed our struggle and came to the rescue. Meghan walked us over to the correct aisle, looked at our pictures, and helped us come up with a plan of attack. Meghan was patient with us and answered all our questions. Her product and project knowledge far exceeded our expectations of getting any assistance at any store. By far this is the best customer service experience in retail we have ever had. As she lead us around, I started to notice other Home Depot employees. Went to the garden center today to get my back yard spruced up for spring. Andy was there and gave us all of the advice we were looking for! He was patient, extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. This is absolutely the worst store to go to. No one is around to help they are either too busy chatting with each other or outside fucking off. Went to order a whole new kitchen but again no one was in the cabinet area to help but all the computers were logged into. Asked for help waiting 10 mins still now one. So I am gonna be taking my business elsewhere maybe Lowe's will be better at helping me out. read more

I use this location near my shop on occasion because it is in an industrial area and has stock on some stuff that one located in a mostly residential area won't have any in the bin for because it is based on sales. As with many locations service will be hit or miss. The day labor crowd seems to be above average in number at this location. read more

I guess it's an okay place. Out of the many times I've been here, I only get greeted or even helped a handful of times. Countless employees walk by and no one really says anything or even looks at you for that matter. You kind of have to find them if you need help. I am only giving five stars because of the store manager, Edmond is amazing and was so helpful, fast and he gave me a discount on damaged merchandise, he had another customer to get to, but instead of leaving and not helping me, he stayed and made sure i got everything i needed. No stars!!! I had a service associate provide a case price for t8 bulbs and when I got to the register the management went out of their way to rescind that mark down. Nice unstick position and nice service. Top down leadership in action. No wonder it takes so long to get out of the store...people don't care and management doesn't want to help their customers. read more

To qualify this, I spent 10 years working in this store, another 4 years moving my way up and around the Home Depot ladder at 3 others. This is my least favorite store with still some of my most favorite people I've ever worked with. Another case in point today. I went in to get shelving standards, shelf hooks and 1x's for a project at one of my rentals. Parking lot just packed with "contractor's best friends". Wound my way through, got through the door and it took at least 10 minutes to wind through the people back to what I needed (the basic layout still hasn't changed from 15-17 years ago when I opened that store, and the one across the street was the "old one"). The store is run down, but as others have said it fits the neighborhood now. Sad to see. I saw 6 people in aprons trying to help, getting pulled every which way, interrupted in mid sentence, etc., the normal Saturday routine there. The pricing on what I wanted was great, when I could find a UPC to connect to a sticker. Only 2 out of stocks in the section, better than normal. Line at the paint desk looked 3 deep, not uncommon. Plumbing looked like the disaster it always is, everywhere I've worked (small parts, ignorant customers just throwing packages where they don't go or opening and dropping boxes, normal), and the stacked up merchandise in the front aisle...man, what I wouldn't give to just get to a register, give them my money, and go run the gauntlet of migrant workers outside, clear the parking lot and go home and cut my wood...oh yeah...wood?! The main reason to go and I got so frustrated getting the other stuff I forgot it! Well, I'm not going back and there're a couple other places to stop on the way home. I work for their direct competitor now and truth be told the only thing holding these kinds of locations out of anarchy are the people who work the floor. Management anywhere in these "big boxes" can't do what they need to do to make things right. That's dictated to them by their cell phones, Emails, and planograms. All have their purpose, but as I rose through the ranks myself I've learned that nothing beats time on the floor without any of that to remind you of what should be happening. Nothing beats hearing "well, they're paying someone to do that, just leave it". The person "they're" paying could very well be your neighbor's kid trying to work his/her way up and out of that mentality. Voting with your dollar is fine. We all do. Vote with your voice, also. I love the guys that work at the store. but Home Depot is a joke. I decided to come to this Home Depot after having multiple problems with the Home Depot on Thunderbird and the 17. terrible install three separate trips still not perfect. so at this Home Depot I decide to buy a new sliding door. gets delivered they put it against the wall and completely scratched the handle. I asked him for a new handle no one ever even called me back or return my calls. then I have my contractor install the door upon installation we can now see the other side of the door because it was up against the fence and that there is no lock so I called to ask if I can get a handle with lock so that I can leave my house without going around the corner to get to my car. this was last week on Friday he tells me he will order the part on Monday and have it expedited. they call me today to see if I want to purchase the doors from the quotethey gave me. I let Kent know that no one called me back from Monday to tell me if my lock and handle would be here so that I could leave my house and get my car without having to go around the block every day. he told me no they would not expedited it will be another two weeks before I can leave my home without walking around the block. asked to speak to the store manager I was told that they would have to call me back. after spending thousands and thousands of dollars at Home Depot I am extremely disappointed. and I would not buy my cabinets here my cabinets are not aligned correctly. read more

never a good moment at this location. Staff is not as friendly or willing to help as in other Home Depots i've been to. Theres usually never someone available for their department. you always have to hunt them down or have some one hunt them down. When you finally hunt the associate responsible for that particular deparment they have very little knowledge. Last week i went at 8:30 pm to get some wood cut. There was two others waiting in front of me and they were complaining they already had to wait 20 minutes because they could not find someone to make the cuts. long story short i got my turn at 9:00 pm. the guy seemed in a bad mood and kept saying how he was suppose to be off already and shouldnt be making the cuts that it should be another guy. At the end i took the cuts home and had to return them the next day. they were horribly cut and cut wrong. my fault for not checking but i owe it all to the guy(i wish i could remember his name). do yourself a favor and skip this store. i understand sometimes its the closest but make the extra drive if possible. afterall if you are like me, you go to this store for home improvements and it is your house at the end. read more

The worst experience I've ever had. I spent close to 4k on carpet and window treatments and nothing, I mean nothing has gone well at all. If there was something they could screw up, they have!!! I'l drive 10 miles out of my way to go to another home depot because I am so infuriated over the service I received from this store. It over a month since I placed my order and I still have to call them to follow up on things. #1 problem- order carpet for wrong rooms after I spent 4 hours in the store telling them which rooms I need carpet in. Then I had someone over charge me for carpet I was quoted a completely different price for. Last but not least, when I ordered my window treatments I advised them to have the installer pick them up the day he installs them. I just got a call saying they have my shades there for 4 days, how come I haven't picked them up!!!!! I am so mad, I'm shaking. All of this has really prevented me from moving in to my town home. Can't bring furniture in because I have to move it for the carpet installation. I am LIVID!!!! read more

this place has the worst customer service ever. the employees there will often try and make you look like a fool also not wanting to help you at all to find what you're looking for and if you purchase something and get the warranty on it if it breaks chances are they will not warranty it out for you. they will tell you that you have to contact manufacturers of the merchandise and send it in. which isn't right at all since you purchase the warranty through Home Depot and bought the item at Home Depot. read more

My son and I went to this Home Depot this past Monday around 12:30. We needed help in the nuts and bolts section. I looked around in adjacent aisles several times and didn't find an associate, so three separate times over 15 minutes, I asked a cashier to call someone. After 12 minutes, I walked to the opposite end of the store where I finally found someone who would come by to help us. On my way back, I ran into another employee who said he would help. I asked if he had received any type of message indicating help was needed in aisle 19. He had not. When we went to check out, we went to the self check-out line. A gentleman next to us was having trouble scanning an item and he asked the Home Depot employee whose job it is to help to scan it for him. She rudely told him that she didn't have a scanner and would not help him. I tried to help him for a few minutes as the HD employee ignored him. He asked for help again and again she refused to help. Finally, when I said something, she walked over and made minimal effort to assist him. He and I finally were able to get the item to scan. WORST HOME DEPOT EVER. We will not shop there again. One star is generous. Wish there were an option for 0 stars. read more
