Went in to look through and compare a couple of TV options. DId some initial looking with some notes. Plenty of options as most displays should. We could see the prices are comparable n competitive to other retailers. Jonathan professionally approached us and introduced himself simply offering support for any questions we may have. We continued and after some more notes, we approached him and he facilitated information, answers, and experience. In the end, we decided on 2 TVs, personal upgrade interest. We also took advantage of an incoming need of a mattress and asked Jonathan to assist. We narrowed down and selected a purchase. Unfortunately, the item was erroneously showing as in stock but actually not available. Jonathan made all efforts to locate and facialte a replacement that met our needs. I chose an alternate option as it was for a non-local location use and had to acquire at that other city location. We asked him to update and refund that purchase and again he diligetnly supported the refund transaction. Our alternate choice was not reflective of Jonathan's service, salesmanship, or of Brandsmart. He was always professional, honest, and very communicative even after hours to ensure we were satisfied. read more

I bought an electrical hair clipper which I thought was new. It did not work. It was defective or was used but sold as new. I thought I was buying a new and therefore working item. It was packaged and sold as a new item. The following day I tried to return the defective or used item back with my receipt. To my surprise, I was refused the return by an employee, Angel Vasquez, who stated he was the Brandsmart USA (located at US-1 and SW 159th Street, 16051 S Dixie Hwy) South Dade manager. He accused me of using the item and declined the return of the defective or used item. Luckily it was worth less than $20. Can you imagine if it had been a $1,000+ TV or other expensive item. Do yourself a favor and avoid shopping at Brandsmart USA stores. First return ever and worse experience. It's disappointing that a store like this would, first off, sell defective items or used and try to sell like new. Does not provide the opportunity to even hear the customer's report. I purchased all of my appliances from BrandsMart as a package, including a Frigidaire Professional refrigerator that was supposed to be a high-quality product. Just a couple of months after installation, the refrigerator began leaking water from the ice dispenser, running all the way down the unit and onto my floor. Since then, I've had at least nine service visits to repair this issue, yet the problem has never been resolved. Despite my calls starting shortly after purchase, BrandsMart and Frigidaire are now trying to tell me the warranty has expired. This is completely unacceptable--a warranty should cover a problem reported within the covered period, especially one that has never been fixed. I have repeatedly called for help, including leaving messages with supervisor Chris, and have received no response. Now, they refuse to repair the refrigerator unless I pay additional charges. This is not what I expected from Frigidaire or BrandsMart. The customer service has been extremely disappointing, and I feel abandoned with a defective product. I will not purchase from BrandsMart again, and I want other customers to be aware of the ongoing problems and lack of accountability. read more

I bought a Kitchen Aid refrigerator in October 2024, from Brandsmart. My refrigerator stopped making ice. Have been trying since December 2025 to get it fixed, with the extended warranty I purchased. They sent an incompetent technician, Guido, twice to my house. That technician did absolutely NOTHING to see what the issue was. He's very rude and doesn't do his job at all to access and/or repair. Looks like most all the negative reviews of this store involve purchases of major appliances. I've never bought those things at BrandsMart, but I have come to their stores to purchase everything from TVs to computers, routers, home theater systems, small appliances and even patio furniture. For most things I've bought here I checked prices first at a few other stores including Best Buy, and BrandsMart has usually come in lowest. The situation with the sales staff can be a bit odd, as I believe they all work on commission so they can sometimes pester. Some are more knowledgeable about the products they're selling than others and in one case we were helped by a really nice salesman in one area of the store, and once we found what we wanted we went back to him to make the purchase since he was so helpful, but he explained he could only write up items within the specific department where he worked. In our case, we were in the market for a few items for our home. We found some things we liked in a circular we got in the mail, looked up a few styles we liked via the BrandsMart website and came to this store as their website indicated they had them in stock. We were here late on a Sunday afternoon and there were really no other customers at the loading dock/delivery area after we made our purchase, so we had our stuff within 5 minutes of going there to pick it up. read more

Warning, warning do not buy from this company. I have been buying from Brandsmart for over 20 years. But I have to tell you that lately they have become one of the worst stores to deal with. I went to their store in South Miami a week and a half ago. I purchased a refrigerator and I paid for a special delivery and I also paid for four guys to deliver the refrigerator because it had to come up to a second floor. They showed up to make the delivery with only two employees. At this point, they refuse to deliver the refrigerator because there was only two. Four days later, they showed up with four took apart my refrigerator, cut a waterline on the refrigerator and then I was told they cannot deliver the new refrigerator because there was a dent in one of the four doors. I asked them to please deliver the refrigerator and replace the door at another time. The delivery company refused to do that. I'm now being told that I have to wait another four days before they attempt a third delivery. I contacted Brandsmart with no assistance at all. They do not care that I have been without a refrigerator and having to buy ice for two weeks. The customer service has become horrible. The delivery company that they use is even worse. As they refuse to even talk to the customer and give the customer an explanation as why they would not deliver the refrigerator and replace the door at another time. He is older than me and sometimes has issues with vertigo. The scooter comes with a seat and a basket and has a wide platform so he thought it might work for him. We asked the salesperson if it could be returned if my husband found he would not be able to balance himself on the scooter. We were told yes, it just needed to be within 30 days of purchase and returned in "new" condition i.e. clean tires, etc. We also asked the cashier about the return policy who also told us we could return it within 30 days. I inquired again and she mentioned electronics can't be returned but this could be, so we bought it. We brought it home opened the box and my husband looked at the manual - the scooter was never removed from the box. He told me today he is not comfortable with the idea of a scooter. We tried to return it today and was told we can't...the receipt says 0 day return. No one in the place could understand why the two people would tell us it could be returned. The girl in the Customer Service office spoke to me like I am a child saying, "is this your original receipt?" after she used a highlighter to mark the 0 days. I remarked to her so I as a customer should not trust what 2 of your employees tell me when they answer the same question the same way? I had a problem with my 1.5 year old refrigerator. The door alarm would not stop beeping. A tech came out at the beginning of December and "fixed" the issue by unplugging it. Their website states they have a 110% price match guarantee but when I went they did not honor it at all. Their price was $2,299.00 and Costco has it for $1,999.99. They should have given us an additional $200 but refused to even though Costco even offered $300 when spending over $1999. They can get sued for false advertising due to their managers negligence. She told my husb that she was going to call us back ( either him or me) and today marks 2 wks and not one call or anything. When you enter the store everyone is eager to assist, show you around, and provide you information on the products. Once you make the purchase it ENDS all customer service, friendliness, and communication. The sales representative that we worked with was not helpful - she provided false expectations, did not follow through, and was rude. Once we FINALLY received the items, the crew providing the delivery was PHENOMENAL (Note: this review is based solely on the experience with the sale, and the customer service received - NOT the delivery). Upon receiving the delivery, one of the items does not function as intended and it seems that there is a manufacturer error. I have contacted the store for the last 2 hours where I have been transferred an inordinate amount of times, hung up on, and dismissed. Came into brandsmart hoping to purchase a mattress. My husband and I were walking around waiting to get attended from the sales woman who works in the mattress department. She sees us but does not ask if we need help. A couple minutes later a woman comes to look at the mattresses and this sales lady walks right pass us and asked her if she needed help in seconds that the customer got there. I am sure that more than one Customer has many Complaints to say about this store, but for fatigue or wear do not manifest it. The Brandsmart service department are all liers. I had a scheduled appointment to service my washer. I had to call to find out no one was coming and my service date was changed. I called in the morning and the afternoon to be told that a technician would call me between 6 and 8 pm. No one called me. I called the Brandsmart again and now I was told to call them in the morning. So I have been lied too, my appointment changed with no regards to the facts that I have to work and need to notify my employer of my absence from work. They have an extremely poor customer service. They are unable to contact the customer and explain why the service department cannot provide a time frame. I spoke to a woman who kept putting me on hold because I'm upset that I cannot get a time frame on my service. Very bad service. Extremely poor customer service. Purchased a new oven from BrandsMart in the Dadeland area. This was during the COVID times. Everyone had to wear a mask and stand in line briefly before entering. The sales experience was phenomenal. Our sales man Leonard knew everyone about ovens and helped us navigate through the many choices to fit our needs. He answered even the most difficult of questions and was very confident. It was a night and day difference in the experience compared to another appliance store. We've now used the oven/stove several times and love it. The delivery process was also a breeze. I have a number of things i am looking to buy from a smart watch to a new tv to a new set of appliances for my kitchen. Depending on the deals I can find will depend everything I get. I decided to stop by the brandsmart closest to my home as I had good experiences in my past with the brandsmart in Hialeah...sadly to say this brandsmart does not come anywhere near close to the hialeah store much less any store in terms of customer service. Firstly, though this store is smaller than other brandsmart stores I have been to which means less items that could interest me to buy. But the customer service was terrible. As I walked around the store in department after department, I noticed the salesman just talking, laughing and having a good time while potential customers were walking around lost looking for help. When I went to the appliance department (which is the size of most of the second floor) there was only one salesman. I waited for the guy 20 minutes to help out a customer and then when he was done he just left the flood leaving me there. Took me another 10 minutes to locate another salesman. When I asked him to show me appliance packages he was disinterested and said there were many on the floor to call him when I found what I wanted. Really? I've called customer service six times and have been forwarded to a number that has put me on hold for (checking now) 39 minutes. That's just the beginning. Brandsmart has definitely lost its luster from the 90's when it was a solid full-service wholesale store. I'm afraid with its expansion its turned into the bad side of your worst customer service experience. We paid a pretty penny for a grill and received good service at the store. She was so good we were even sold on the delivery and installation included. ...that was the end of our good experience. 41:11 Its been a nightmare since. Our grill was delivered beautifully and placed exactly where my Dad wanted it. Only one catch, it was missing parts. So Brandsmarts customer service was sooo bad that we had to call Weber themselves. They sent the parts and the parts look like a mix of surgical devices, microscopic pieces, and internal devices. I finally get customer service on the phone (48:00) at the US-1 and 159th Street location and they don't even ask my name or receipt information. He just gets right to asking "what part is missing.. cause we never miss any parts...". Ok, wait, WHAT?! This guy was questioning me after my Dad had to call Brandsmart to get kicked over to Weber who sent him the pieces that are missing in order for our grill to WORK, and now Brandsmart puts a guy on the phone who has nothing else but "Yeah, cause we never miss parts". I like Brandsmart because they usually have the best pricing in home electronics and appliances. This location isn't the best but the floor samples tend to vary inside each store so sometimes you gotta do the preliminary legwork. I recently got a great deal on a Samsung kitchen appliance set which after the mail-in rebate proved to be a great score. The delivery time had to be moved after I had taken time off to ensure someone would be home. Roughly delivering my fridge, they mildly scratched the top causing me to call and report it which took more time of an already hectic day. Even though the prices are great, the items you're purchasing matter because it's only worth it for bulky pieces as opposed to a toaster for example. The most upsetting thing is that we ask the salesperson to plug it in before buying it but he refused by responding "we don't do that here." Not only him but his team are very helpful and very knowledgeable in their products that they sell. They are very honest straight forward and kind as well.
