I'm finally back home to spend some time at my house and I'm seeing my back yard, I got some trees…read morethat need trimming. Not big giant lumberjack needed kinda trees, just some low branches that need trimming. I heard of these chainsaws that are battery powered and not very heavy and safe enough for someone like me to use and not have it kick back and chop my head off or something. I got a guy friend to go with me down to Harbor Freight Tools cause that's suppose to be a place to get tools and the like for not too much money. The quality might not be professional level, but for occasional use homeowner like me it good. We get down there and look around. I do find a couple of options for cordless chainsaws, but wait, hey, they don't include the battery for the saw! Who sells a tool without the battery included? So I looked around and I think they have some batteries, but I'm not really sure they the ones that fit exactly, and the cost is really adding to the total. It kinda pisses me off that the tools don't just come with the battery, so OK, screw it, I'll go look somewhere else. I guess we'll have to drive to Redding and look at Lowe's or Home Depot. At least we can get a nicer lunch up there in Redding.

They had plenty of green ones and no blue ones. I told her I really preferred the blue. A moment later, a guy came out from the inventory with one last blue one. That was great service. I purchased the blue one and she told me more will be in stock on Thursday. So I will pick one up then. The store is in a great location with plenty of parking, and very clean and orderly. The price was good compared to everywhere else that I had shopped.

This business had my walk-behind Honda lawnmower for 4 weeks for a simple tuneup and blade…read moresharpening. Every time I called there were 1 or 2 in the queue before me. My last call was answered by the female rep. I tried to explain my frustration to no avail as she talked over me, not allowing any input. I even tried pointing out that she was talking over me, but she was determined to have the last word. I finally asked if any work had been started. She said NO. I said DON'T START I will pick it up. Now I understand their 1.5 star rating. I took my mower down the street to a 4.5 star rated facility.

The pull rope broke in my leafblower. I went to this business to buy a replacement..I advised them…read moreof the type of blower and was charged $5 for a two foot pull rope. While changing out the rope the darn spring came out. The next day I took the shield, rope, spring and plastic piece that the rope goes on to the shop asking if they could put the spring back on..an hour later I returned for the parts. I was expecting to pay maybe $20 as a price was never discussed. Nope $47 ..I was shocked! They told me the rope I brought them was too big. I received an excuse when I told them they had sold me the pull rope the day before and I had to even ask for the previous purchased pull rope back. When I questioned the high price I was told it was for labor, parts and the pull rope..only parts I did not bring them was a washer and a screw as I was not expecting it to be put together.. I went home and after the 1st pull the rope will not retract. Based on reading past reviews and the fact that they like to comment on their bad reviews always blaming the customer I won't ever walk into this business again..
