Great store and friendly managers. They are always up in the front helping staff The garden area is large but I learned what's provider is by a vendor so the staff is unfamiliar with the plants, trees etc. the vendors are usually there early in the morning so if you see them then ask questions. There was only one register open and the employee was handling a complicated border. I saw literally two people just standing there staring at me as I was waiting. I had an item with no barcode wich is why I waited in line. So instead of them taking initiative I chose to go to self check and push request for help and got it done that way. Plenty of parking, especially numerous disabled spots. You can shop with your dog. They usually have a good selection of plants, flowers, and trees in the spring. The paint department here is phenomenal. They do such a great job with matching colors, being helpful and friendly. read more

Just spent a chunk of money on a storm door. Needed help loading it into my vehicle and the kid helping was awful. Acted like he was put out for doing his job and totally clueless on how to lift door. Then he threw a large bag of potting soil right on top of the door and slammed the car door. read more

If you own a home or have to do maintenance, how could someone live without Home Depot. This one is only a couple of miles from our house - so it's a frequent stop to stock up on garden supplies or home repair items. Also a great place to buy tile, remodeling items, etc. read more

I normally prefer Home Depot to Lowe's. I normally prefer this Home Depot to the others in the area. That said, it's not perfect. The parking lot layout near the store is...odd. The nearby Chic-fil-A doesn't help. The prices for grass seed and fertilizer have gotten surreal. Most of that isn't anything to do with Home Depot, but you absolutely have to shop around on those items and make sure you're not overpaying. You also have to carefully check the bags for holes and good luck finding one that hasn't been crapped on by birds. The staff are friendly and helpful. I came in for multiple items. I asked several people for help as i was walking around trying to find everything. Most of what i needed was in stock and i was able to substitute something similar for everything else. Everyone i talked to was friendly and helpful, but the person that helped me the most was cashier Beatrice. She was extremely helpful in setting me up with the credit card which saved me money. She was efficient and pleasant and kind. I had commented how hot i was getting and she bought forward her fan to direct it on me as i waited to finish. Her thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. The store is good and the people are helpful most part. But the return policy is not great. Last week I bought a dryer cord and I ended up needing to return it because one came with the dryer. Unfortunately I lost the receipt which is on me, so I thought I could just return it using my debit card unfortunately my card broke and I wasn't able to slide it through the card reader. In that moment I thought I could just use my ID to get store credit and when she scanned it it said it was denied but she wasn't able to tell me why she just gave me a piece of paper and told me to go to this website and it will tell me. Went to the website and it didn't give me a clear reason why it was denied. So if you ever are given the option for them to email you the receipt, I say you should take it read more

Not a fan of going into any of these stores blind. I like to preorder and just pick up what I need but today I didn't have that luxury. I only walked around a couple of minutes before I was able to find someone to help me. He was reluctant but he helped. How are you reluctant to do your job? I digress... We just moved to the area and stopped in for some new appliances and a few odds and ends for our new home. This is, hands down, the best Home Depot we have ever been too. Jerry in the appliance department was so helpful, hilarious and just a joy to chat with. He was very educated in the brands and appliances that he was showing us. We bought a new fridge and a washer & dryer, what a pleasant experience it was too. We also stopped over to grab a door lock and had a question for another employee, Steve. He was honest and helpful. We greatly appreciated his input. The employees were so friendly and helpful which is such a welcome change from what we were used to in Florida. We ordered ceramic tile to be installed in our guest bathroom in June. We were informed that it would be 2 or 3 months before we would be able to have it installed and we were good with that. We paid for everything at Home Depot. A day or two later we received a call from Superior Floor that they would be doing the install of the floor that we had purchased through Home Depot. It was the middle of June when we purchased everything and Superior Floor tells us that the earliest we would be able to have it installed would be September 28th (3-1/2 months). We get everything scheduled, they confirm that it will be installed on September 28th & 29th. In the process of this remodel we were also replacing the bathroom vanity and toilet. On the Thursday before we're due to have the floor installed we receive a message from Superior Floor reminding us of our appointment, everything was a go they would be at our home on the 28th. On Sunday, we have our toilet and bathroom vanity removed to be prepped and ready for the new floor being put down. Tuesday evening, the night before our scheduled install, we receive a message from Superior Floor that they were going to have to change the date of our install. The person that was supposed to do our install was no longer with their company. We're now told that the earliest they can install the floor is December 5th, 2 months away. The following day we call Superior Floor to see if there is any way possible that we can get the floor installed before December 5th. We have out of town guests coming to our home for Thanksgiving, and we now have a guest bathroom with no toilet or sink. We had already waited our turn to have the floor installed, why, because someone is no longer working for them do we go to the back of the list to wait for another install? They would not budge, they would install on December 5th and not before. Who is to say on the night before December 5th the same thing will happen, they'll call and reschedule again? We called Home Depot and spoke to the manager in the flooring department. They said there was nothing they could do about it. Superior Floor was not their employee. Home Depot contracts with them to install their floors, why do they continue to use a company that has a history of doing this to customers? They may not be employees of Home Depot but they are contractors of Home Depot and it reflects badly on Home Depot. We ended up calling Home Depot's Corporate Office, and again, were told there was nothing they could do about it other than refund our money. Home Depot called us back and said that if we wanted acrylic tile they could install that on Sept. 30th. If we had wanted acrylic tile we would have purchased that in the first place. We ended up getting our money refunded and have gone elsewhere. When we told the new floor place what we had purchased from Home Depot the lady kind of had a stunned look on her face and informed us that they had sold us wall tile. You should never use wall tile on a floor. That is on Home Depot, so they're not innocent in this experience. We have gone to Home Depot a lot in the past and have felt that we received good customer service. This experience has changed our feelings about them. We will NEVER use Home Depot for any kind of flooring and will also tell others about our experience and persuade them to not use Home Depot for any type of flooring. read more

I'm not one for bad reviews and typically I highlight GREAT customer service. However, this is not the case. Home Depot doesn't have there stuff together right now. Lol. I walked in to get two 4 x 10 PVC pipes cut into multiple pieces - something I assume is an easy task. I asked one woman to help me because she was in the Plumbing Department and she said she didn't know what to do and to hold on. After that took so long, I went and asked a group of four workers for help. After I asked, all of them aimlessly started "searching" for someone to help me for about 10+ minutes (mind you, these four were doing nothing). I decided to leave the pipes there and just walked out. I just value customer service and the impact it could have for a company. That being said, I'm going to drive the extra 3 miles and go to Lowes. read more

Purchased a refrigerator in February it had damage too it I'm still waiting for it to be repaired

This is the worst experience of my adult life. I have cancelled my entire account with them because of this experience. Please don't ever order a service from here. It took 3 1/2 months to have the install then on the day of the install they didn't contact us (we were home) even though they say they did. Now they say it'll be another month!!! They have no want or need to make it right even after filing a complaint with corporate and canceling our account with them. Never never ever ever use or shop at this store. Horrible experience. I ordered tile online and had it shipped here. The wrong number of tiles was shipped and nobody wanted to help me. I was taking to one associate and another came up to him and told him to go to lunch. Apparently a lunch is more important than the customer standing there. Instead of escalating the issue, two associates told me they couldn't help. Lowe's is still open. read more

Love the Home Depot. I prefer them greatly over Lowes. They have always been great with helping me find what I'm looking for, and stands behind their products if you have any issues with them. My husband I shopped here and everyone was nice and pleasant until we ran into one man. We were there later than usual but had everything cut and where looking for screws ten minutes before close. We ended up checking out and unloading 5 min before the store closed. Unfortunately everything was great about our stay until our run in with a man with no name tag. I was stepped up on our cart while we looked for screws, because I'm quite short and was having trouble reading them. He asked "Ma'am please step down" and then sat there and watched me. Felt very unpleasant and strange. Then said, "Can I help you find your final items?" In a pretty pushy way. Which I understand the store was closing soon, but again we were out and unloaded 5 till. He just left a very sour taste in my mouth especially where he sat and waited for me to get down and then leave and babysat me like some toddler. Very rude man. I wanted to purchase a specific ice melt that they showed on their mobile app that they had in stock (over 150). I asked an associate who went to his supervisor and they said would be out by the end of the weekend. I went back Sunday night about an hour before close and still not out for sale. I asked an associate and they said I guess it is still in back. Out of the 3 people no one offered to get me a bag but just said come back later. I will definitely be going to a new home improvement store even though this is the closest to my house. read more

The price match guarantee is a freaking joke! I went to Home Depot to have them price match a Samsung Flexwash washer and had found a less expensive price online (Home Depot price guarantee states they will match online stores) but of course not the largest online appliance, customer service told me only more local stores. Left the Home Depot only to find a local store with a cheaper price (Goedekers) made a 2nd trip back to Home Depot to have them match this price as was told they will match local stores. Guess what NO match for the local store either! Left the store for a final time and will not be back EVER. Went to Lowe's and they matched the price and customer service was superior! Good buy Home Depot I will now go out of my way by 5 minutes to get to Lowes! read more

However, at this location, people are ALWAYS super friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful! You can't walk down an aisle without someone asking if you need help, even if it is busy. We ordered counter tops from this store. We paid the bill and were told they would be ready in two weeks. Two days later, the store called and said they had somehow calculated the cost wrong - even though we'd already paid and the order was already placed - and we had to pay additional fees over the phone. Two weeks later, our counter tops were not ready. The rude manager forgot to put me on hold before running her mouth about me, and then said she would call to see what's going on and call me back the following day. She never called back, so I called again only to get the run around again. Lowes will have ALL of our business from now on. read more

We purchased doors from Home Depot, and also had them installed. I would never recommend anyone do this. The doors were delayed by the manufacturer twice, but no one ever called to tell us that. We had to call once the date they gave us came and went. We then asked for a discount because of this delay, and we are over a month later since we asked and were told we would get a portion back and it still hasn't happened. My husband had to call again, so we will see if it gets taken care of the second time around. My husband took a day off work to have both our front and back doors installed because they told him it would be a one day project. He receives a call after the time they were already supposed to be at our house stating that the guy who was supposed to come install them, his truck broke down the night before. They would try to get someone out there to try and get one door installed, but most likely could not do both that day and would have to come back Saturday (this was Thursday). Guy finally shows up and gets the front door installed, but couldn't do the back door. So we have to wait until Saturday to get the second door installed. The guy takes about 5 hours to do what we were told would be 3 hours so we wasted our entire Saturday. And now the back door does not slide properly and is incredibly noisy. So now we have to take more time out of our schedules to have them come back and look at it. I would NOT recommend getting things through Home Depot like this. We will never do it again. read more

It's great to have people around to try to help when needed. It's annoying to get asked when you pass every. single. aisle. Over and over. I used to come here a lot as it's the closest to my house. Now it seems I can't go in without someone walking up to me to "take a survey". First it was "how old is your roof?" "How old is your kitchen?" "Do you have plans to upgrade...anything?" Then they start soliciting address and phone number blah blah blah. Then the phone starts ringing soliciting sales pitches. All I WANT to do is come in, grab some PVC cleaner and be on my way. Last week, I went in to get some spray paint. While perusing the rainbow of colors for my project, a lady walked up with a clipboard in her arms and I was asked to take a "survey" on my water quality. Not on my first rodeo tour, I declined to participate but was badgered to the point of taking the survey just to get it over with so I could get on my way (time is money). "Did I have city or well water?" "Would I rate it on a scale of 1-5?" "Do I have a water softener?" "Has anyone come out to test my water?" etc.. I refused to give my number, yet 4 days later, at almost 8pm(!), I was called. The purpose of course was to thank me for taking the survey (right). Then, and you'll never believe my luck, I WAS SELECTED (ding ding ding I WON!!!!) to have a technician, who was coincidentally, magically, going to be in MY neighborhood in just a few days. He would come to my house, free of charge, to actually test my city tap water! In addition, by letting him test the water, I would get a free $20 gift card to Home Depot. I refused, of course, because I am sure the water would not be 100% perfect, but they would recommend and install a water softener - as that seemed to be what they were pushing at the time - for a low cost and fee. Another presentation to sit through for free entertainment. The point for me is this. It's a hardware store. People who don't know what they are looking for should be able to find someone to help them. Otherwise, let the contractors and construction workers get on with their job. They know what they want. I'm done with Home Depot. Every time I walk in, I feel like I am going to end up either an hour late for what I set out to do, or I am going to have to sit through a timeshare presentation with follow up calls every other week "just to make sure I am doing ok". I've done a lot of business with them, at this store, practically rebuilt my entire home, but I am done with the insanity that comes with shopping in this store these days.
