The icemaker in our 11yo Kitchenaid frig had broken and then was badly "repaired" by a different service I thought I could trust. It was a mess. I found ASAP on Yelp and it was highly rated, not only for responsiveness, but for professionalism and service. I called and explained the mess to Nick and we talked a bit about what was probably going on. Our repairman was Josh and Josh clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He quickly spotted the problems the other guy had left and understood what needed to be done to fix it. I was impressed that he tried to make the icemaker work for us while he ordered the correct part. It didn't work, but we appreciated the attempt. A few days later he came and installed the new icemaker which worked immediately. Unfortunately, the moisture accumulated on the tracks of the pull-out ice bin froze the thing shut! We didn't know that was the problem, but Josh honored the 30-day guarantee on the service call and came back and fixed that too! At all times they were highly responsive, up front about all pricing and treated us fairly. I am very glad to have found ASAP Appliance Repair. Ice maker stopped working as it usually does during the change of seasons. We thought it was a quirk as it would eventually start working and producing ice but not this year. Then the food started defrosting. We called the repairman and he checked out everything - ice maker, freezer, water lines, etc. He kept at it until he had identified the problem. My washer was intermittently not working. I contacted Nick through the Yelp app. He immediately responded and a service tech came the very next day. The tech was as courteous and nice as he could be and told me his honest opinion after examining the washer that we should replace it. Just wanted to update my original review. Nick CALLED ME, when he had an update for my Whirlpool refrigerator defrost cycle problem. We set up a time, he came out, and programmes the refrigerated. Hopefully, this will prevent the frosting up problem from happening again. But the real point of this review:. I have never had more caring, professional service from anyone. He, on his own, took the time to come out and upgrade the programming. No charge! Now that I am thinking more clearly, I probably should have tipped him! After calling multiple appliance repair places who had a week long wait time, I called ASAP. The gentleman I spoke with (Nick?) quickly diagnosed the issue with my Samsung fridge over the phone. He offered to do a part search that day and if he was able to secure what was needed, they could come on Saturday (in 3 days) and fix our issue rather than doing a service call first. Thankfully he was able to find the part needed as we were leaving town the following week. He broke down the pricing for me over the phone so I was aware of the cost ahead of time. The technician, (Josh I think) was prompt and courteous and completed the job quickly. I'm so happy the other companies couldn't fit us in or I might have never ran across these guys! Nick answered the phone quickly and was so polite and professional. I asked his opinion on whether it was worth having someone come look at our 7 year old freezer or just getting a new one. He gave me an honest response that if it was a problem with the condenser or something else expensive, then it wouldn't be worth fixing but that it also could be something more minor and a repair would be cheaper then a replacement. Apparently, not all service repair agencies in our area service LG products. Once I found that ASAP does, they were able to come to our home within 2 days. Nick called the day before our appointment and instead of calling to confirm an arrival time, he was able to fix our issue over the phone - it took 5 seconds. (P.S. apparently, the child lock on our dryer had activated itself) Between the professional and friendly demeanor over the phone, and his eagerness to save everyone's time (and money), I cannot recommend this company enough.
