Competent, cordial and courteous, and extremely patient and helpful personnel is the main reason. I like O'Reilly Auto Parts and I love this location. They saved my camping trip last Thursday. My truck started funny on the way to the mountains and we stopped into the Lakeside O'Reilly to have the battery checked. Devray behind the counter was awesome. He checked the battery and confirmed it was bad. He brought out a new one and I put it in. He then told me it was under warranty and it didn't cost a dime. Devray and O'Reilly got us back on the road in under 30 minutes and prevented us from being stranded in the woods with a dead battery. Awesome!!!! read more

I was in Pinetop for the weekend and my coolant light had come on. My hubby is a supporter of O'Reilly's and recommended I swing in on my way home and get it topped off. When I stopped in I was greeted by a very nice associate and he helped me locate the right coolant for my VW Atlas. The BIG part is he immediately offered to top it all for me. Grabbed a funnel and rag and did it seamlessly. It was a pleasant surprise to have someone so willing to help without hesitation. I was not able to grab his name, but I was there on Sunday morning, January 9th. Please share my huge thank you for making my day and ensuring my SUV was safe for the trip back to Gilbert. read more

Unfriendly and unwilling to help. Staff members stated they could charge a battery but it would be a couple of hours. After waiting around we checked and they hadn't even put it on the charger and they're response was "well you can just buy a battery." No I'm sorry for our mistake, we will put it on now or anything like that. And the girl working at the front couldn't even lift a battery to help anyways. Dont got here. The only reason I visited this store was because traffic was heavy and a right turn was easy. My problem? dead RZR battery, it was a good battery and it would be charged in an hour. I returned an hour later and the battery was hot to the touch, had to wait 45 minutes for it to be cool enough to carry in a box, still warm. I hooked battery and noticed a huge bump but it started right up! Went for a long drive, parked it and next day walked out to another dead battery! this time I took it to another auto part store, yup, dead battery plus a shorted cell!! Went back today and asked for manager , explained what happened, no receipt by the way, just partial sticker they use when a battery is charged. He walked away ( wife and I thought it was rude!!) he called us over and he showed us the battery that was recommended, took battery from rack and gave us a brand new one! I see why this establishment has five stars when I arrived I was immediately greeted and told that they would be right with me I unfortunately didn't catch the first gentleman's name that was going to help me he was helping another customer and he said as soon as he was done he would help me but if I wanted I could stay inside because it was quite hot today and look around then not even a minute later a gentleman named Adam came around the corner and asked if he could help me and I said I needed my battery checked because I thought it was a little rough he said he would help me so he told the other gentleman he was going to help me he came out put the charger so my battery was perfect and he said but let me make sure I alternators okay check that too he is an ex-military very nice I will definitely recommend this place No need to go to O'Reilly or anywhere else this is a top-notch place very kind very clean inside too Thank you gentlemen for making my day wonderful for I had started out with a flat tire and ended with just as song in my heart read more

I visited O'Reilly's because my rear view mirror fell off and I needed some adhesive to reinstall it. I hadn't actually driven my truck in a while and the battery was dead (of course). I managed to jump start it and my plan was to keep the truck running while I ran in the parts store to grab what I needed and was going to do everything once I got home. Well, as habit would have it, as soon as I parked my truck in the O'Reilly's parking lot, I shut the engine off. I immediately regretted that decision, and tried to start it again but no dice. Embarrassed but determined, I went in and was greeted by some very friendly folks who were more than happy to guide me to where the rear view mirror adhesive was, as well as getting a battery for me. I explained my situation to the gentleman who was ringing me up (I really wish I was better at remembering names!), and was pleasantly surprised when he volunteered to install the new battery. I was not expecting that at all, and was going to find someone to jump start my truck so I could get home but 10 minutes later, I had a new battery in my truck. That is what I call outstanding customer service and the reason O'Reilly's is my go-to for auto parts! read more

Went here on the recommendation of friends who live in the area. Was told they are honest and very helpful and was not disappointed. Tom was very helpful helping me pick out new windshield wipers and was kind enough to install them for me as well! I hope the manager/owners appreciate him and treat him well. Customer service that good is hard to come by these days; and it was word of mouth of such service that brought me in. read more
