Robin M. is right in the way that Home Depot isn't where you'd go for premium or niche products. But if you're looking to get something functional on the (somewhat) cheap, this is the place to go. And they're damn good at it. 90% of the time they have exactly what i need. Parking is ALWAYS plentiful at all Home Depots. This is worth a special mention, as other chains don't seem to understand this too well. *looks at Canadian Tire* The staff, even though not the highest-paid I'm sure, are very friendly and 80% knowledgeable. I just wish they'd put a few more on the floor. Sometimes you're stuck waiting 10 minutes just to ask a 1-line question. Another special mention is their hours. It's nice knowing they're there if the sun's out.

I have to say, I shop is this Home Depot quite a lot. As well, I find their staff very friendly and best of all the things here are cheaper than say its competitor. You can do one trip and get what you need. The place is huge and quite clean. But again it is Home Depot and it should be like. The store is bright. I noticed that this store is becoming more and more like a one place to shop to get all your needs. I even found detergent at Home Depot. 10 years ago, you con't find stuff like that. They also carry pretty high tech items. Like themostate control by your phone, Wemo etc. I like this homedepot. Best part is they will also email you a receipt after purchase. Don't worry about loosing your receipt if ever you need to return something.

Great place to buy plants! Stopped in today to grab some gravel for potting plants and discovered that Home Depot is a hidden gem for indoor gardeners! I've always loved hardware stores like this for outdoor gardening, but haven't thought of them as go-tos for succulents, tropicals, and other indoor plants before. It turns out that this location has a great and very cheaply priced selection of aloes, jade plants, pepperomias, and even larger plants like palms and dracaenas. They also have a great variety of pots, potting soils, and plant foods! I bought a gorgeous palm for 19.99, and I'm sure I'll be back for more at a later date!

She called over several employees and security to count my items because I scanned my cat litter with the hand scanner. She harassed me and embarassed me the last time I came here too, the exact same lady for the same issue. I spend $300/week at this location, tons of other places would treat you better as a regular customer in this competitive economy, I'll never be shopping at Walmart again. I put my dollar loonie coin token in the slot and the darn key lock wouldn't come out. Luckily it worked on the other cart beside it. They made a huge change in the checkout area where they converted a large portion of the regular registers into a huge self checkout area. Kinda disappointed at this change since i almost never use self checkout. Granted, it was a little late at 9:30pm, but there were no full serve regular registers available at the time. (only if you pay in actual cash, which i didnt have.) The staff person was nice and rung up my items for me after i requested help. Avoid Wal-mart's homemade pastries! Their cherry turnovers were improperly baked making them super hard to bite into. The amount of cherry filling inside was also lacking. I felt i wasted $6. As i was making my way to the parking lot with my items, i got a unpleasant surprise because there was that fight broke out between the security gaurd and some brazen shoplifters. The shoplifters ran into the wrong store door so it didnt open but they still managed to force themselves out eventually. The security guard tried to grab their stolen goods in a epic tug-of-war match and ultimately lost. The shoplifters got away! Kudos to the security gaurd for trying to stop them. It was a 4 vs. 1 tug of war so he was outnumbered. Also kudos for him vigilantly shooing away people that didn't wear a face mask, which was required, during covid19 . On the plus side, I found a good $2 off deal on shampoo. But best of all, I got a great deal on Purex toilet paper, and there were still plenty left. Got a few packs to use during the second pandemic wave. And yes, you can buy more than one! Score! Overall not bad...3/5.

But the tidbit I have is a few issues I have to pick with these guys. One of which is something I've complained about, which is that the cart thing is still an issue. It is very common for the carts to be non-existent because people refuse to put it back. This is more of an issue inside the store. Secondly, don't even bother with their website when visiting the stores because sometimes their items is mismatched to what's actually in the store like their Onn tablet where they're suppose to be 4th gen as stated on their website but what their signs in their store's electronics department, it says its the 3rd gen. Lastly, their values on foods aren't even affordable anymore. So many prices seems to be somewhat comparable to other grocery store chain. Not all the time but felt like they could've lowered the prices quite a bit more but chose to raise the prices because people are willing to pay for them. I get inflation BUT felt like since they're such a large company, you'd figure they have a much more stronger negotiating power than most of the other companies they're competing with. This location, the only GOOD thing I have to say is that occasionally if you are looking for food, they do offer a decent amount of selections of their own Great Value brands in the freezer aisle, like their $9.98 buttermilk chicken, meatballs and so forth. Those can be pretty decent money savers if you're trying to stretch your $ while wanting protein.

I've been to this Walmart numerous times in the past 15 years but my experience on May 26th 2025…read morewas very different. I won't say I've always had a great experience at this Walmart but I had also never had a horrible experience; usually it's just mediocre. (This is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1) Long story short, the employee at the checkout counter was rude and disrespectful to my aunt and I. She suggested the Walmart credit card and I said "no thank you" and then she asked for donations and again I said "no thank you". She proceeded to say in a condescending voice "so you don't want to help kids who don't have parents and are orphans" and made a face towards us and rolled her eyes. I respectfully told her "no thank you" and she said it one more time and this time I told her "we help and donate in other ways". And then she rolled her eyes at us. She then preceded to say "you didn't know what I was going to say regarding the details of the credit cards" which I responded "yes I did, because l've been coming here for almost 2 decades and know about the details of the credit card and the donations." She continued to give us attitude and talk in a disrespectful tone. This employee treated us as if we had done something wrong by saying we didn't want the credit card or to donate. Usually when employees offer credit cards or donations and customers say "no", they say "okay" and don't continue the conversation. But this employee continued badgering us even after we provided her our reasoning for why we didn't want the credit card or to donate (we didn't even owe her an explanation but we still provided her with one in hopes of ending the conversation). Even after we had paid she continued questioning us and giving us a lecture before handing us our receipt.

It's one of those shops I'm glad isn't close to my house or I'd be over there wayyy too often adding various colorful furniture, knick-knacks, and bric-a-brac to my stale beige apartment. The shop features two rooms devoted to all things imports. The first room is mainly small items, from jewelry and candles to clothing and other decor items. If you're looking for a gift for that hard-to-shop-for friend, this is the place. The second room is full of seriously gorgeous furniture and larger household decor items. Dressers, chairs, beds, dining sets, tapestries, lamps, rugs...it's all in here and it's all just begging you to dig out the ol' credit card and re-dec your place to look like you just returned from a six month excursion through Southeast Asia. The staff are super helpful, too. I was looking for a wall tapestry for my daughter (who is trying desperately to add a boho vibe to her bedroom). The store employee showed me the different sized tapestries and helped me pick one that most suited my kid's vibe. She said if my daughter didn't like it I was welcome to come back and exchange it for a different one. (Luckily, she liked it!) Someday when I win the Mega Millions I'm going to head to Wander and buy one-of-everything.
