This location isn't horrible, I've been by here enough now for work that I am starting to get used to where everything is at. Biggest issue is the parking lot, it's a bit confusing around the Pro area and it's small and tight. We went here today looking for floor tiles for our bathroom. We were trying to match existing tiles. We were not able to get tiles there but I wanted to give a shout out to the young lady working the flooring section today at 11:00 who tried very hard to help us. Spent 30 minutes trying to get help to buy an exterior door, one employee stocking items 3 aisles away had someone paged. 10 minutes pass, No show. A Baby Huey impersonator employee, said not my department but I'll page someone. Another 15 minutes, no show, Baby Huey reappeared with someone in a forklift getting a door in the aisle next to me, no comment. Hands down the worst HD I have ever dealt with. 1) Customer service is a joke at best, so many rude people work here that clearly don't care. 2) Try calling and if you get someone to pick up within 10 minutes consider yourself lucky. 3) Dirty and disgusting, they sell pressure washers but don't use any. We bought a weedwhacker with an extended warranty. It stopped working with the receipt and warranty we took it back to Home Depot. The rude woman at the return counter said they changed their policy after we purchased the item and we would have to notify the manufacturer to have it repaired or replaced. After that it became my worst nightmare. My washer had several delivery dates promised that never happened. I was lied to about dates and no one seemed to know what was going on. I was told my washer would not be delivered until later and it finally showed up the very next day when they said it wouldn't come. I was left on hold several times and it was like their was no communication between employees, the delivery service and even the one manager didn't seem to care. On Monday, July 23, 2018, I placed a telephone call to the Home Depot garden center. I was looking for some miracle grow palm tree food. I had checked the website and it showed that the store had three containers of miracle grow palm tree food in stock to pick up. Just to make sure, I called to see if it was in stock. Upon being connected to an employee in the gardening section, I was told that they had miracle grow potting soil, but no miracle grow Palm tree food. When I told him that their website showed them to have three containers in the store, he rudely said "I don't care what the website shows, we don't have any! " I was going to Fort Worth anyway, so on the way back home, I stopped inside there and low and behold, I found three containers of miracle grow palm tree food! Apparently, I was dealing with an employee who did not know what the store had in stock, or was too cotton picking lazy to walk over and see whether or not they had it. I had had a similar experience like this with Home Depot where they had claimed not to have something in spite of what their website said, but in reality it turns out that they did. When asked today by an employee if I could be helped, I explained what had happened and she replied, "well as you can see we have it. " I replied, "yes, and so does Lowe's. I then drove across the interstate to Lowe's and purchased the product for less than what Home Depot had it priced for. The employee with whom I had spoken on the phone this morning is obviously a lazy and incompetent dumbass. I do NOT recommend buying from The Home Depot. They have terrible service for warranty exchanges. I ordered a washer and dryer for delivery. The washer was faulty and leaked water everywhere. I called right away to get a replacement - and it's now 10 days later, I've called daily (no one ever contacted me), and they still can't tell me a date that it can be replaced. They are now telling me to order a 2nd washer and to schedule a return for the 1st washer (which won't be refunded for 10 days to 2 weeks.) They offered me a small discount for the 2nd washer - less than I've spent going to the laundromat waiting for this. And they just realized today that the washer I ordered isn't even in stock. I would have exchanged it for a different, working, washer 10 days ago, but after this poorly handled process, I wont be ordering from The Home Depot again and do not recommend purchasing from them. All I wanted was a working washer and have been waiting patiently and politely all 10 days. Manufacturer defects happen, but if the company doesn't handle them properly, you lose customers. read more

Regardless of Ryobi company saying this store is an authorized store to replace within company warranty, the manager refused to honor the 3-year Ryobi warranty replacement policy on tools and battery. I called prior to travel to their store and was told they will replace anything still under manufacturer/company warranty (like I've done with other tools), I was totally refused when it comes to Ryobi tools and batteries. The manager outright lied on many things (including giving me the wrong telephone number to their legal department), like there is only a 90-day replacement warranty, but I've replaced about a dozen non-Ryobi tools in last 4 years at this store. Evidently the employees working the Returns Dept need to be knowledgeable and not tell people to drive the distance for replacement if not the truth. read more

The last three (3) times I visited the Home Depot in Weatherford, TX I asked for help loading and it never came. The very last time I asked twice. Another customer ended up helping me as I was struggling a little. They put no effort in helping and the Contractor parking is horrible. After I loaded my own material I was waiting for the truck in front of me to move as the truck was running. An employee came out and told me they went back in for more material. Has anyone EVER been able to get a tool repaired in the tool rental section? It only took me 3 tries to figure it out! The older guy "working" there most of the time always asks "what's wrong with it?" Duh!!! Then he proceeds to tell you that it probably can't be fixed! He's absolutely amazing! He can just look at the tool & can tell that it can't be fixed! If you want a REAL Echo repairman, you won't find one at Home Depot in Weatherford Tx. This store is poorly managed. Especially the lumber dept. Every time we try to get lumber (several times a week due to business) they have numerous isles completely blocked off. My husband finally complained to an employee and he just shrugged his shoulders. Told cashier and she was even more uncaring and grumpy! Roofers causing debris to fall from ceiling over paint dept onto customers and yet THAT area wasn't blocked off for safety!? When a third employee was approached about it her response was "well people can't look at the paint chips if we do that ‍. So, we will shop at Lowes from now on. I love my Home Depot, this review is for the new mower I just purchased. I am recently out of work, so I cancelled the yard service in favor of getting exercise by keeping up the yard and landscaping myself. I did my research on mowers, and purchased the Honda Easy Start Self-propelled mower. Great bagging/mulching feature, nice powerful mower. But I have not been able to start the mower one time since I purchased it in April. It is NOT an Easy Start as advertised. I have to get a man to start the mower for me, which makes it worthless since I have to schedule my mowing around someone else being nearby to start the mower for me. Once it is running, it refuels and starts again without fail. But I have yet to be able to start the first mowing cycle, and that disgusts me. Sorry Honda, I can't recommend this mower to my lady friends. read more

Ordered a refrigerator for my new home which currently has NO refrigerator installed. I placed my order on March 24th with the first available delivery date being over two weeks later, on April 10th. I received a call from the delivery company to confirm my address on April 9th, so all seemed on track. I burned a vacation day to sit at home waiting on the delivery that had no specific delivery window, just some time on April 10th. After waiting five hours, I called Home Depot to check on the status of the delivery and was put on hold for over 10 minutes before the gentleman helping me came back online and advised that my refrigerator was backordered until May 9th -- another MONTH away. When I asked why the online order showed the delivery was on track for April 10th and why the delivery company confirmed by address the day before, I was told only that there must have been a "disconnect" somewhere between Home Depot and the contract delivery company. When asked why Home Depot never advised me that the refrigerator I ordered was on backorder, the gentleman just said he apologized for the disconnect. Needless to say that I cancelled the order, even though I am *still* without a refrigerator in my new home. I would up going to the Nebraska Furniture Mart website and found the same model that's being delivered next week, over two weeks earlier than the date Home Depot told me I would get it from them. So frustrated with Home Depot over the lack of communication, but also the complete lack of customer service on this issue. The gentleman helping me on the phone was clearly just reciting his script and couldn't have cared less that I burned a vacation day sitting at home waiting on a refrigerator that was never coming in the first place. read more

I've been lookin for a product Only certain Home Depot's have them. I looked online and one store in Dallas said they were in stock online. Drove there and sure enough did not have them. I was told by Dallas employee don't go by the online stock and to call to physically see if product is in store. The Weatherford Home Depot was showing in stock online but wanted to call to verify. I called and "Paul" from lumber/building material answered very snobby already (first impression as if He was aggravated customers are calling). I ask him about the product in stock and if he could verify. He very snobbery says how he's not in the store and doing something else at the moment..... AS IF I SHOULD FREAKING KNOW THAT!!. then I explain I can give him the SKU and whatever he needs ;then he proceeds to tell me to go online and check it myself..... I explained that's what I did but I need him to physically verify.. he confirms it's there and I say thank you and he gives me this A-Holish "yea" response and we hang up.. I had a mental image of what "Paul" would look like based upon my phone call and I wasn't disappointed when I saw him at the store...if this guy represents your store I would highly talk to him about humility, customer service, and approach towards people. read more
