So ordered a PALLET of rock and waited. An email arrived Sunday night, saying delivery would be the next day, Monday between 6 am and 8 pm, so I planned to be here for it. I stayed at home and watched for the truck. At 730 pm on Monday and no delivery yet! I call the 800 number for distribution center. They forward me to the local store (60 miles away, this is rural). The manager at the store sees it was ordered, processed (they have plenty of stock), but they did not see it actually having been loaded that morning for delivery! THEY sent me the email saying it was coming. They "processed" it, but did not load it???? WTHeck. Manager sees it in the system for delivery, but nothing was loaded, so will try to find the drivers or the delivery team manager to figure out what is up! HOW does a delivery notice get sent to email, yet the product NEVER got loaded? Shouldn't the email come after it is loaded? BAD EXPERIENCE. THEY told me to be here today. Not like I picked it. Shout out to Wenatchee Home Depot's Assistant Manager, Ronda, and tenured Customer Service Employee, Liz, for helping me with 8 outdoor lights we had purchased well over a year ago! They were LED and supposed to work for 10 years and, unfortunately, stopped working only a few months after installation. Due to unusual circumstances with contractors, we had no receipts and these lights were well over the 60 day return policy. Liz and Ronda jumped through hoops to refund our money (almost $800!!) and were successful in the end. My husband and I are so grateful that they spent the time to make an exception and got us our money back!! You two are the BEST!!!! read more

Don't even try to get anything done after 3pm. I called to check on a billing error when I made a telephone order, and spent about 20 minutes getting absolutely nowhere with customer service people who are inclined to leave notes for those who work the next day, rather than take care of business. read more

The 2 stars is for the appliances. We came in to see what the prices look like compared to the other stores. The employees were sitting at a table talking then a lady who had a leg injury came to help us. She was great! But then went to the desk to find her and everyone literally was gone! We could not Find anyone to help us make the purchase. It was only $4000 and change but yikes where did they all go??? I guess they close this area after 4:30. We left without a purchase and are looking elsewhere. Extra note: We looked for a flooring person as our house needs new floors and again crickets nobody around. read more

Home Depot is great. They provide mask and hand sanitizer at the entrance door. Haven't had any major problems, staff knowledge can always improve but being a business where employees come and go understand. I wish they were better at answering the phone and communicating better during that process. read more

Seriously. Why do I come here? Almost every time it is a disaster in customer service. Trying to ever find help is a colossal waste of my time...Today for example I had a very specific item I was looking for. I asked the only person that accidentally made eye contact. He was zero help. He pointed to some associates on the other side of the store and said something to the fact that he "only works in hardware"...I wandered back over to these associates that previously had ignored me and waited for them to engage. Again, I was ignored...I found a helpless person behind the "Pro-Counter" and asked him for help. I had to practically draw him a picture of what I was needing and then he was able to look it up on the store's computer system. Only to be told it would have to be special ordered... I don't know what has happened over the last few times I've gone to HD, but the very fact they don't have any sort of tools to rake/move concrete or self leveling sub-floor material speaks highly to the fact that they're really missing the mark on carrying enough variety of tools for the things they sell. And what's with the " Due to a National coin shortage we don't take cash" signs at the front check outs? Seriously never coming back again... unless Lowe's doesn't have what I'll need. In that case, I'll use online ordering to avoid the frustration of having my expectations of lousy service met. read more

trying to buy carpet from these folks was a bit like an old Cheech and Chong skit. that is except for Patty who tried to help me they wanted full payment (purchase and instal) up front with no guarantee of either delivery or installation. was told anywhere from one to five weeks and no idea what time needed to get the installation done. dealing with them was a challenge because of lack of resources which usually means if you're too busy to do it right the first time, you'll have to do it again. read more

My washing machine broke in March. I ordered an LG in Wenatchee and was promised delivery on the April 4th. On April 2nd I received a voicemail that said there was a problem and it would now be delivered the 11th. When I called to confirm on Monday, they said unfortunately, the delivery date was bumped up to the 18th. I would LOVE to cancel and go someplace else at this point. I am not sure if this is Home Depots fault or the fault of the delivery service they use. read more

I go into this location knowing what I need and the knowledge of the products however it is tragic when the staff are unaware of what I am requesting and also by informing me of such products like for example flooring or carpet they look like deer in headlights. The managers are always hard to find and are usually on break every time I request their help. If someone doesn't know then they point out a few other employees and it's just sad that you can tell there is a lack of communication and knowledge on products and sales. I hope the customer service improves for this location because it never fails I am surprised on how the lack of intiligence shows on the staffs faces. I am sad that the staff are confused with their own products and think that another training session should happen to improve knowledge in every department and customer service improvement skills. When I took a picture of the products I was going in for today, their own staff were confused on which one was which when it came to carpeting. I find that tragic and funny. Please help improvement more product knowledge so that customers don't look more intelligent than your staff. read more

Home Depot Used to be one of my favorite stores but WOW how things have changed?!!! I am constantly hearing and reading articles that brick and mortar businesses are being pushed out by online shopping - but actually in my opinion it is because of customer service or lack thereof that is causing the end to many retail businesses. Unfortunately home improvement projects don't always allow for online shopping ahead as you always need something that you didn't plan for so to the local Home Depot we go...But finding someone to help you these days at the Wenatchee Home Depot is like finding a needle in a haystack. And if by chance you do find someone who actually makes eye contact the chance that they will be able to assist you is nearly a miracle. Having Knowledgable employees used to be the reason they seemed a cut above the others... but that too is gone! And to top it off I love seeing three employees talking to each other while you check yourself out (even though every other item needs an over ride by the one and only front end checker)... so frustrating! I, for one, miss the days of being appreciated for shopping in a business and told to "Have a nice day"! read more

I'm going to shoot for four stars rather than three only because I love Home Depot's return policy and I can get emailed receipts. Way better than Lowes, and easy to find items. When I ask an expert for help I'm usually told "sorry don't have that" or "I don't know". I often just figure things out for myself. I wanted plywood cut down to certain sizes as I didn't have best tools for accuracy and they kind of ignored my request. Took it home to cut down myself and took forever to get a square cut. Biggest pet peeve...standing at paint counter for 15 minutes while three staff at returns are on their phones taking selfies, and probably on tinder swiping right on EVERYONE. The regular paint attendant (young lady who's usually there...sorry name eludes me) was away actually working. I pulled my phone out and called the store and saw employee put away his smart phone for a moment to answer the phone. And intrigued to see what would happen I just hung up and sure enough he went right back to his smart phone. Kind of like shoeing to fly out of your face and they go RIGHT back. Finally he looked up and help me with the paint. I drove home and applied the paint...way off. Drove back to the store and luckily the regular attendant was there and she agreed that the color the gentleman gave me was not right and fixed it. Took the paint home and it was a seamless match. This store has knowledgeable people, no matter what department you're in. The cabinetry department deserves a special shout-out, and so does the door hardware department. They know their appliances. The tool rental people are helpful and knowledgeable. The paint department is great. The fellow in the lumber department really knows his stuff. The guy in plumbing is great as well. The garden department is wonderful. The fellow in hand power tools was particularly helpful. There have been so many wonderfully helpful people to try to remember, so I apologize to anyone I have overlooked. read more
