A worker named Tony went above and beyond yesterday by helping us with a small $4 item. We needed a small black rubber plug for our Dawn dishwashing bottle that we place under our kitchen sink for our pump next to the faucet. Needed a hole drilled through it so the soap tube would slide in easily. Tony took it to the back room and got it done!!! It worked perfectly!!! Home Depot should have more helpful guys like him! Went to the garden center on Tuesday my mother picked out a plant that was on the rack outside Mark 1999 was 4499. There was no price on five of them that were left. They were barely alive. They were next to the topiaries went to check out and they wouldn't honor the price that they were sitting on poor judgment what happened to customers are always right and why did they have them there? Oh mistake well mistakes are made to be fixed and make the customer happy well I wasn't I left. My mother was disappointed and we will not go to that Home Depot anymore. We'll go to Lowe's. Well normally I prefer Home Depot to Lowes.. Prices are usually lower and their products are easier to find! I'm so sorry to say this Home Depot is a complete nightmare! 1. The approach is complete chaos with no one organizing the flatbeds, industrial carts and the regular carts. It's almost impossible to enter without moving around 10 of them! A true hazard! 2. Once you actually make inside the store it's impossible to find someone to help you. 3. The outdoor garden center has so many isles that have huge pallets stacked up so high that you can't get to the products . Some you can't even take a cart down.. 4. It all self service check out. Enough said. So I went with intension to purchase: Weed killer, raid, mold and mildew spray for concrete, splash guards for sprinklers, gutter downspouts extensions, gutter downspouts flexible extensions . And I checked out without the splash guards for sprinklers, gutter downspouts extensions, gutter downspouts flexible extensions . Couldn't get to them and no one knew where they were.. what I did buy I could have bought at Walmart or Target. Then leaving the back exit was blocked again with the giant carts! Really no one minding the store! Lots of employees standing around talking to each other. This is the 3rd time I've been to this location and the last! I moved from Lake County and loved our Home Depot. It was amazing! I would be able to find everything I needed and actually enjoyed walking around the store! Sorry but Corporate needs to evaluate this store! The Managers needs to be retrained! The reviews are consistently negative! I'm not the only one saying this.. we can't be all wrong! Please allow me to take a moment to share some praise about my recent visit to your store located @ 223 S. State Road 7 - West Palm Beach/Wellington, FL; This is my local Home Depot store. My great friend was in town with me, helping me with various construction/home improvement products in our new home. We made multiple visits to your store the weekend of 20 August 2022. During our multiple visits, we were greeted by an employee named, "Jan"; - I'm not sure how else to describe her other than a White Female; Middle-Aged. In my entire life, of visiting Home Depot stores throughout the United States - I have never come across such a kind, pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable employee. "Jan" told Mark and I that she had been working with that store since it opened many years ago. "Jan" is simply awesome; so awesome that I had to seek out her Manager - "David". "Jan" went the extra mile to help Mark and I retrieve the correct LED Light Bulbs for my new home in Binks Pointe, Wellington. Thank you! Later that weekend, we return, once again and meet the Store Manager - "David" who is truly a terrific and extremely helpful person. Again - "David" went the extra mile to help us seek out the particular "Lithium Batteries" that we were looking for. These were very difficult to find. Our Cashier, "Seren" was extremely cheerful, kind, pleasant and helpful. She assisted me in opening a Home Depot Credit card which was something that I always wanted to have, but didn't not know how to get. There is a Lowes located down the street from this Home Depot location; for various reasons - particularly unhelpful and obnoxious staff - they will never get any of my business. Ordered faucet online. Was scheduled for delivery on 12/12/24. Never delivered that day or the next. No notification from the store of when it would be delivered. Tried calling the store and was placed on endless hold. But they charged my credit card within seconds. read more

I went today June 27 about 11am to ask about some advice about painting and staining and what to use ; Brush or roller or pads . And that lady said "I couldn't not do anything about this because I have to scan" so I tell her this receipt have a barcode in the button but she not look anything just say I can't do anything and no friendly smile or helpful. We ordered 2 deliveries of 20 bags each of mulch and they do not require that you be home for delivery. They put it up against our garage door so that we cannot open or close our garage door. Customer service says that there is nothing they can do about it. We are senior citizens and cannot move 40 bags of mulch to free up the garage door. Poor delivery and customer service. read more

I reserved a rental truck several days in advance from their Lake Worth location. The night before I received two texts reminding / confirming this reservation and when to pick up. When I arrived, after waiting in line for almost 20 minutes, the clerk told me my reservation was cancelled because the vehicle had a flat tire. No attempt to provide an alternative, work with me to solve what in that moment became a major problem for what was moving day. In the parking lot I saw four vehicles, two that were the van I was supposed to rent... didn't see a flat tire anywhere in sight. She cancelled my reservation, told me it would take a couple of days to refund to my credit card. Such a nightmare, major inconvenience and lesson learned. My family and I will never try to rent anything from HD anywhere ever again. We'll be taking our home repair, gardening, and other needs to Loews. Don't trust this business to honor any sort of rental agreement. read more

I went to Home Depot on Sunday for a big box item I ordered. I did not request help to my car. After struggling to get in my car, I hurriedly pushed the cart back with my wristlet with credit cards and cash. (the wristlet was a limited ediition LV x Yayoi Kusama 2023). I returned within 15 minutes and the carts were moved. An employee came up and volunteered that he had gotten there at 3:11Pm after telling him I checked out at 3:12pm. I spent most of the afternoon there and was told that the camera guy was not there, I should return at 6am on Monday morning. I got there at 7am to be told he was not there. I went back around 1PM on Monday and spoke to Ed Mary, GM, who was very sympathetic and helpful. I told him someone tried to charge $900 to my card at 8:54PM, which again would lead to an employee leaving the shift. It turned out the same employee who I suspected shift ended at 8:45Pm (coincedence????). This same employee did not get in at 3:11pm, his shift started at 1:15PM. More suspicious behavior. He gave me his cell and told me they were looking at footage he would get back to me, To get to the crux of the issue, today the GM told me he had a multi-million dollar business to run, I needed to take responsibility for losing my items, He did not speak to his employees as he said he would; he claimed there was only one shot of me with the purse; he would not entertain me getting any more footage. He said I should come back with the police since I was instructed to file a report on Sunday night. The Sheriff department said they would meet me there but HD is a private company and they can not force cooperation. Bottom line - despite the inconsistencies from your employee with evidence of another employee there, the attempted usage of my card at 8:54pm, and the fact that I know there are cameras in the parking lot of the carts being moved - you refused to provide any meaningful assistance by providing footage between 3:14PM and 3:38PM or even question Jace A. to even ask if he was responsible for stealing my items. Yes it could have been a customer that took it, but would the customer wait until 8:54 for the first usage? To provide footage means there could be some liability for HD so the easier approach is to tell the customer - good luck, bring the police, be more careful the next time. shameful bullying!!! read more

Every time I have gone to this store I bought products that were used!!!!! Pluming, LED lights switched out of box, mold jugs opened and used. The return line wraps around the beginning of the store. I placed a 10K order for appliances back in July 23rd. All items were backed order to be delivered September 16th. That is fine. End of september, i got no call for delivery. I called Wellington location and they said Oct 12th will be delivered. Today i received a call from the manufactured saying my item delivery date is December 2nd. I asked them when my order was placed and they said September 25th and not July 23rd. So frustrating and furious with this situation. read more

There have been many occasions that I think... This is my last time in Home Depot. But today is our last time in the Royal Palm Home Depot, at least while I know that Mgr. Doug is still employed there. Today, 05/17 Doug was the Manager on Duty. This Manager was rude and did not make any effort to assist us with our $2,500 purchase today. We even called in before we went in, describing our needs. We were told to come in and they would assist... Unfortunately, that did not happen.... therefore, this our formal complaint. We are buying plantation shutters for our home. We wanted to use our Home Depot card with 0% for 24 months. Unfortunately that was not a current offer (online or in-store) so they told us to go in the store, place the order and then have the associate call H.D. Credit to adjust the "promotional rate" from the 6 to the 24 months. A lady working the Customer service desk (in this very store) told me last week that "she has never had that request denied by H.D. Credit" and to just come in and they would take care of us. We decided to call first to make an appointment, three people told us, this was doable and they could assist. The third person, Tony (in flooring and window coverings) said, he can but he needs a manager approval. I told him, they had all my contact info and to please run it by the Manager and we would see him in an hour. We went in, and Tony said.... I'm sorry, my Manager said no, he wouldn't approve it. It was an instant no! Not, lets see if there is a work around, nothing, just no.... We were shocked especially considering we just spoke to three people (and the lady from last week) and everything was fine, now this Manager wouldn't approve it??? So odd. We asked to speak to him (like I think many would). I kind thought he had to of misunderstood my request. As we were waiting for the Manger to speak to us, a H.D employee walks by quickly, no hello, no pardon me, no are you looking for anything? nothing... So I didn't think he was the Manger (since he didn't act like once when making eye contact with a customer). Apparently he was the Manager that we were waiting to speak with... So I said, Hi.... I wanted to..... And he just started shaking his head no.... I'm like why would everyone say this is possible if it weren't? It was though he was giving us the silent treatment and just wanted to shake his head no... We (hubby & I) both stated out loud "verbally" what crap it was and his lack of customer service and that we are calling corporate. My husband has left that store before because of horrible customer service... I just couldn't believe that they didn't want the $2,500 sale.... I spoke to two other employees in that store and come to find out, Doug is a known jerk! Almost ready to give up but really wanting to finally order the custom shutters after looking and deciding for about six months so, yes... I called another H.D store.... That store was not only HAPPY to help us but they were a PLEASURE to do business with.... We had a great representative in the Lake Park store on Northlake and I plan on giving him an excellent review next.... How does someone like this become Management? If two other employees there agree with me that he was a jerk, I'm sure it wasn't just this guy having a bad day... I bet his is an jerk all day every day. Home Depot, (it is in my opinion) you need to re-evaluate this Manager... You could increase your moral and revenue with the right Management. read more

Went in to get some paint. The guy behind the paint counter did everything in his power to not help me get paint. He wouldn't even look up a paint code that was on the bucket of paint I brought in. So naturally, I went to go complain to the manager. And then I realized why the guy in the paint department could care less about me. The manager proceeded to start asking me questions about the paint I did bring in, which I initially was asking if they could put it in the paint mixer because it was a brand new 5 gallon bucket of paint that I had not opened for a few years so I wanted to get it mixed well. The guy at the paint department said that he could not mix the paint because it was not theirs. And that's when I started asking about getting paint that matched the paint I brought in. To which he proceeded to not care about helping me at all. So let me get back to the manager. The manager could only focus on the paint I brought in. He said that it looked like the paint bucket had been opened. I bought the paint. The bucket had never been opened. He said it was up for debate if the bucket had been opened or not. So let me get this straight, I'm already past getting the paint I brought in mixed, I'm letting the manager know that I wanted to buy new paint and the paint associate did not want to help me with any aspect of matching the color. So that's why I came to complain to the manager who I was now speaking with. And all the manager did was try and call me a liar. I immediately blew up at him. Let him know how worthless he was as a manager and how I understood why the paint department guy could care less about me. You know what they say about S _ _ t running downhill. It starts at the top and the top of that home Depot is run by incompetent employees. I remember when home Depot used to be a place where you could go and would have plenty of help from people who work there. Wow, what an absolute horrible hardware store it's become. If I could give this location negative stars, I would. I went across the street to the competition that rhymes with "Rowes" and they were more than happy to help me get the paint I was looking for. Lastly, I was so upset about my treatment at this home Depot that I called corporate to complain. And guess what? Nobody cared. Nobody called back. Home Depot sure ain't the same hardware store it used to be. Unless they carry something that no one else carries, I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. My LAST ever appliance from Home Depot! I ordered a dishwasher 12/23, with a delivery date of 1/3. This visit the guy comes in & looks at the old dishwasher & goes out to bring new one & says there is something wrong with the new one & they have to reschedule! The next visit same guy comes back & looks under the sink & says it needs a new joint in the pipe, so they have to send a plumber out (why was this not taken care of on the first visit). The plumber came this past Saturday & the joint was replaced, I was told the new delivery date installation is set for January 17th, usually there is a call to confirm the delivery the day before! Last night I went on their site & did a chat to verify delivery, it is scheduled between 7-11 a.m. which means I have to get up at 5:30 a.m. to let the dogs out & take care of morning chores if they do arrive at seven! The chat person gave me a number to call at 6:00 am which I did this morning & was told yes I was scheduled today & I was 4th delivery! Once again I emptied the old dishwasher out took everything out from under the sink & was waiting for the call they were on the way! Oh ya I got a call alright that they had to reschedule AGAIN tomorrow! The appliance was delivered late! So for the 5th time I have to go through this again! Oh yes on the last visit from the guy who was supposed to install it, he said he could leave the new one & have someone else install it--I just want what I paid for complete installation! The plumber they sent said he could have installed it! I wish I would have known he was very competent & polite! I had paid for the appliance, installation and kits to install, for the old one to be removed & extended warranty! I have NEVER had a problem with appliances being installed with other companies! This is ridiculous to have to go through with all this stress since December 23rd, tomorrow is the 5th scheduled appointment! I will be giving a review of that after the visit! For the most part I normally always find what I'm looking for or what I want for great prices. The store itself is well kept but it is very busy. The parking is a bit of a mission because there isn't enough space and because there's a chick fil a in the same parking lot. The chick fil a is usually packed and the line wraps into the Home Depot parking lot which makes it a mission to get through and find some parking. Besides that I'd say this is my go to store. Called and spoke with an employee MELANIA who happened to answer the call. In a world where most people could care less and are typically in a hurry ...... MELANIA was the opposite. She was professional, extremely helpful, kind & most of all patient. Home Depot needs more employees like MELANIA. She needs to be commended at the very least. Never been to one where the Pro Desk/checkout was shut down more than an hour prior to closing. 10+ ppl in line for 1 checkout line. Next day, 1 person working in appliances and 5 different customers waiting for help and they can't/won't call anyone else in to help. The parking is bad enough, and having to wade thru the sea of retirees who are here for little more than something to do or maybe the odd lightbulb, but the service is so non-existent next time I'll go to the Lowes across the street and wait to be reimbursed instead of using my company card here. I only give 2 stars because another associate named Javar was so helpful and pleasant. It if you have any kind of question or issue that you need a manager for, Chase will treat you terribly. Went to Home Depot on Tuesday and picked up 5 gallons of paint took in a swatch from off my wall so they can give me the right Color that I needed. The man that worked there was named Jim, looked at the swatch I brought in and he said that he would not be able to get anything off of it( he didn't even try) so he went over to the board where the color sample swatches were and pulled one out and said this is it. I said it looks dark (color honey mist) but he said on a big wall it will look different. I don't know anything about paint so I left it to the professional. He put the paint in a 5 gal ($189) bucket. My walls are almond color, when I got home my son put a patch of paint on the wall. It was Mustard yellow when it dried. NOT A MATCH UP AT ALL.! So Thursday I took it back. I went to the paint dept. And told the elderly man behind the counter about jim, the man not using the swatch I brought in on Tuesday and that the color Jim picked was diffidently not the right one. I had taken a picture of my wall to show the difference. The man said, that pictures on your phone doesn't mean anything. I gave him the swatch I brought in from the first visit, the one Jim couldn't use. The man said why didn't you bring this swatch in the first time? I said I did and Jim told me he couldn't do it . He took the swatch and dabbed a little paint on it then blowed dried it. He saw that it was darker. I told him I didn't want a refund just make it lighter. I paid $189 for this paint I don't want to waste it. He took it to a machine and came back and said this is the color Honey Mist, "REALLY" I told him I need it lighter because it was too dark. He got upset and grab a manager .The manager came over and when I told him about Jim, the manager called me a liar and said Jim wouldn't give you paint without opening it and showing you the paint color. I said well he didn't and he wouldn't run the swatch, he didn't believe me. As he was telling me that I'm stuck with this YELLOW paint the man who still had my swatch handed me a label of the real color I should of had. The Manager told me it was my job to look at the paint and not the professionals job to show it. So now I am stuck with this color. Only if Jim would have done his job right I was treated disrespectfully by Home Depot employees.! I am a card member and use them for my business. I am very disappointed in Home Depot . read more

The staff is almost always rude and overworked. I cant really blame them for being upset, since it always seems they are understaffed. Yesterday, i waited in line for 45 mins for paint, and there was only 1 person in front of me! The customer service is an absolute joke too. You wait in line forever. And if you order something ahead of time..... they never have it at the front waiting for you. That would make too much sense for these people. They have someone go and get all the product you ordered online while you wait like an idiot to the side. So after waiting in line to get your stuff, you then wait another 30 mins for some overworked employee to do your shopping for you. This place is a mess... but honestly, all the home depots are similar for the most part. Top management needs to make changes if they want to keep customers. read more
