Home Depot has been a favorite store of mine for many years now but this morning ran into a big disappointment. I first logged in, checked my "purchase history" for a date of purchase. No luck, it only went back about a year. Second, I called "customer care" to see if they could tell me when I had purchased my lawn mower. Nope. Same problem, could only go back about a year. Third, called Home Depot Credit dept., the girl was very nice, same problem though, only able to go back about a year. Home Depot, more than happy to take the consumer's money for a product but should be able to keep better record of purchases in order to help with purchase and warranty information. Very disappointing. I see, and was a little surprised to see, several bad reviews for Home Depot. I guess as with so many businesses, it's going downhill and not as reliable as it used to be. read more

I had a cart full of heavy items and this employee named Pete was so helpful and polite. He saw I needed help and came over and loaded it in my car for me. Its nice to see you hire people who care!! I will be visiting your store again and suggesting it to family and friends. read more

A few associates are great. Overall, customer service isn't great. Don't order a refrigerator here. They'll use a lousy company in CT who may or may not show up at the scheduled time and who may or may not even deliver it if they don't feel like removing the door. Home Depot will not help you: they use 3rd party to avoid any accountability. Some of the younger hires are entitled and act like you're inconveniencing them over even the slightest requests (like a bag!). read more

Went to the Home Depot in Springfield yesterday to pick out vinyl flooring for an entire house. The employees were sitting at the desk chatting and didn't seem interested in us at all. We asked about samples as the lighting is terrible and was told to order them online. On line they are $2.99 a sample and shipping. So angry!!! Customer service really sucks. You ask for assistance and no one comes. Had to go to register 3 times for assistance and still no one available. Looking to pick up dry wall and there seems to no one available to help answer a simple question. read more

Went to Wilbraham location last month and purchased washer and dryer set. The company they use tried to deliver a broken washer and I declined it. I went back to the store and asked for a manager immediately and some young adult kept talking over me when all I wanted was so speak to a manager, he tried to put me on the phone w the washer manufacturer. Finally after he got me a manager because he stated he was done dealing with me. They refused to give me my money back until 48 hrs because it had to be recieved at the warehouse first. This isn't the first time I had issues w the Wilbraham store. The college/high school kids who are working at the customer service desk act like their entitled and your inconviencing them. read more

Follow up from my previous review of Home Depot. We are still waiting on a phone call to cancel the claim. The phone call was promised by 5pm that day. We are now 7 days later and no attempt to reach us. So very disgusted with the lack of interest this company has for resolving an issue ( that they created) for their customer. read more

By far the worst service and communication I have ever experienced. After placing an online nearly two months ago For a pretty expensive lawn tractor I was sent an email with a delivery date and then never heard anything back again. Store management wanted nothing to do with it and customer service was less than a service. I know one person won't do much but I'll take my business elsewhere read more

Just went in to buy patio furniture. No carts. Carried the table and chairs with my husband. Table didn't have a tag on it. Between the two women checking us out brighter of them could figure it out and wouldn't sell us the table. They didn't send anyone to go get a table with the tag on it so after 16 minutes of "we don't know what to do" my husband went back carries the table and we finally checked out. This Home Depot is really sad in comparison to other western mass locations. It is not in a convenient location for most of greater Springfield, but with traffic from the i91 project it's often quicker than going to Westside. Observed that on my last trip near every area I picked stuff up in had bent/ broken / mangled items. I even asked an employee why so much was damaged and he shrugged his shoulders. We came here to look at zero turn mowers. The selection was lacking to say the least, zero! I asked for a booklet on the options we could ordet. The clerk I spoke to could have cared less, he told me to check their website. I guess I will take my multi thousand dollar sale elsewhere. read more

Home Depot has it all so you have to measure it's worth by how it's run & its employees. Everyone's always friendly & helpful here but, at the same time, not in your face. Checkout is always smooth. They even have some self-checkouts now. A convenient stop for me. read more

I purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot on July 17th and it was expected to be delivered on July 24th. I received a confirmation phone call the night before the delivery date that the fridge would be delivered between 7-11 am the following day. On the day of expected delivery I called the delivery service at 11 am and they had told me delivery was running behind but someone would get back to me in a half hour before delivering the fridge. At 12:15 I called back again and this time they told me they didn't even have the refrigerator it never came in so nothing would be delivered for another week. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service and will never purchase anything from them again after this service unfortunately. read more

At first this store was very convenient for me. Now, we avoid it at all costs. The employees are over bearing, especially in appliances. Visiting the other day (mostly looking at pricing because Lowes beats the price by 10%). We had to leave after two minutes because the same employee asked us three times if we needed anything and what we needed help with. After saying we were all set and would seek help if needed he kept harassing us. Can't even shop here without being constantly followed around and harassed. Bought a Wincore front entry door from Home Depot 6/27/15 for $2,600. Scheduling and ordering problems until finally installed 9/18/15. After installers left the door settled and light became visible around door edges. Reported to Home Depot. Installer promptly returned without telling me and in my absence left my storm door ajar to vent the new door. I received an email and went right home to replace glass in my storm door with screen. Something I was assured that I would not have to do due to the superior construction of the door. In the process I opened the door - MISTAKE! Now my wife and I are sitting in our dining room trembling with rage that we must sit here guarding our unsecurable home waiting for a Installation Manager because the door can not be closed. We have places to go, things to do and people to see, not to mention plans for the evening that may have to be cancelled. Do yourself a favor, nuts and bolts, yes but, major projects try your luck in another venue. read more
