The counter lady closed her lane and started helping the guy. I checked out and helped as well. it took us about 15 minutes to get him to his car which was right in the front. by this time other store employees were helping. his wife was in the car in the passenger seat and the store employees knew her and said she had dementia. She refused to let anyone drive but said she would drive so the guy got in the passenger seat. the store employees pleaded with the lady to let one of them drive them home but she refused. At this time I asked a young man who was a store employee if he would ride with me and we could follow them home and help them get inside. He asked his supervisor and everyone was eager to help and all agreed. we then followed them home and helped the man get into the house and the lady was safe. bottom line the customer care these employees showed was amazing especially the young man that jumped in with me.
