I was a bit disappointed they did not offer the assortment of plated sugar free cookies--not sure if they sold out or not longer offer them (it's a great option for diabetic friends). The confection selection arrived to its destination and was a great dessert option. The cassata cake and tiramisu were delicious. My daughter happily consumed her dot cake. The gluten free cookies were soft with a strong almond flavor and shaped like lady fingers. Hosts enjoyed cannolis and were gifted the remainder to enjoy later. Staff was attentive and accommodating. The interior is no frills and serves its purpose. There were several cases (not pictured) filled with yummy baked goodness, Italian wedding soup, pizza, muffuletta, breads, etc. Sadly, missed out on muffuletta (a great lunch/snack option), but maybe next time...

Prices are a super value for this area where a large loaf of their Sour Dough bread is only $4.50. As a comparison, Zingermans large sourdough loaf which I buy on a regular basis is $8.50 these days and their size is clearly not nearly as large as the Gold N Bakery loaf. For bread this good and of this quality you cant touch this price at any of the stores I frequent. And when I say it is a large loaf, it's a LARGE loaf versus other sour doughs you get elsewhere. The store itself is really not much to look at where there is a pretty sparse order counter in the front where the bakery is clearly visible in the back with racks full of fresh bread clearly visible from the front. Nice! This is a clear example of substance over style which I so appreciate as most businesses dont do this anymore. Overall if fresh well made bread is your thing and you don't want to pay an exorbitant price for it than this is a business you absolutely must visit. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

I'm very happy to have discovered it because they do offer some good items here. One thing I need to mention are their home made Pop-Tarts which are big and filled with jams or other spreads. I got the strawberry one and I absolutely loved it with their coffee which is also very good. On a couple of occasions I got bagel sandwiches, one with cream cheese and one veggie with egg. I will say that I'm not a fan of their bagels as much as I want to be. They're not bad, but I actually prefer places like Einstein for bagels. I also found their egg bagel to be difficult to eat because the vegetables and fake egg patty kept sliding off and making a mess. My point is not everything here is perfect, but in addition to what I mentioned above they also have wraps, cookies, brownies, cakes and other items. Customer service here is also top notch as well and you can tell they love what they do.
