Kimberly, first of all, is just awesome. Someone with whom you'd want to be friends. She's real, funny, and totally puts you at ease. She even dealt with her boyfriend's doctor's appointment before our shoot and made it in great shape (ie, sans stress though I'm sure she was worried, and we all asked after him) and was so fun all day long. Kimberly's time at Entebello and since then now on her own (she does a lot of weddings and loves to, and does them for high-to-low but definitely works with the best wedding planners and event places so if you're in the market, check her out), she is delicate and careful with the "palettes" she creates on your face. I NEVER have my makeup done (I don't think I've had it done since my wedding in 2002, by Aric Castleberry, who's no longer in Atlanta but whom I grew to love and trust completely, and with whom Kimberly is a colleague) but I felt so pretty today!! Yes, it got hot and sweaty, but she fixed me up as needed, and I even went home for a quick nap before my event tonight - and my eyeliner was still perfectly in place after. Love her! Sadly, my experience with Karisma Beaute Effect has gone downhill each time I returned. While their bio promises "effortless beauty" and "flawless results," the reality was far from it for me. After my first appointment for Ombre Powder Brows, I was initially happy -- but when I came back for a touch-up, the service felt incredibly rushed. The technician barely consulted with me, and the results looked uneven. I brought up my concerns, but they were brushed off as "normal healing." Spoiler: it wasn't. I also tried their needleless lip filler service later, thinking maybe it was just a one-off bad day. Big mistake. The lip plumping results were inconsistent -- one side of my lips looked fuller than the other, and when I asked about it, I was told to "wait a few weeks" for it to settle. Weeks later, the imbalance was still there. Whatever was in it broke my lips out bad, I developed cold sores too I don't know if they properly disinfect their material. Overall, the quality, care, and attention to detail just aren't consistent if you're planning to be a loyal client. They seem more focused on cycling through new customers than building real, lasting relationships with the ones they already have. I wish I hadn't wasted so much money trying to "give them another chance." There are too many better, more professional places out there -- don't make the same mistake I did!

First let me say this. As a teacher I love streamlined processes. Yessi's intro text messages and answers to my questions were prompt, friendly, informative and professional. The booking process was seamless and filling out the consent forms were all done on my phone. I received clear instructions in advance about how to prep for the procedure (Microshading) as well as what to expect. Even though I'd done the procedure before (about 10 years ago), Yessi went over everything in detail. Her location is very clean and comfortable--a separate business suite within a salon complex. Throughout the process she check on my comfort level and asked if I needed anything. Her numbing gel made the entire procedure pain free because she administered the numbing agent through-out the procedure. Yessi let me see ongoing results as she progressed with the procedure. Upon completion, she gave me post care instructions for cleaning and maintaining my brows healthy until the touch-up in 4-6 weeks. I was given an after-care packet of ointment and cleansing solution etc.)....It was a great experience and I LOVE my results!! Yessi is my new brow tech--she is so knowledgable and you can tell from her spirit/professional demeanor that she loves what she does and does what she loves very well.
