They offered me one of their one-dollar-cheaper dogs, which was fine, except that they didn't even reimburse me for the extra dollar I paid. I reckon I should have said something, but that's not the point. Little mistake but the guys behind the bar were still very friendly and I like this place. I'll return for sure.

A few people from our group ordered with the server and I got my food first. Not only was my food kind of cold, other folks didn't get their meal for over 20 mins. I also found it odd that all the people who were seated and ready received their food last and the other folks who ordered ahead of time but weren't present for their food brought out. The food basically sat on the table for an hour with napkins over it. I'd rate the food about a 4/10. The steaks were made to order and the fish, but I'd recommend working more on their timing so the food comes out hot and fresh. They gave my dad a good waffle from someone else's order that had been sitting on the table for an hour. It was rock solid and cold. The drinks are expensive and not worth the price to me. I think this is a good place to check out if you want to hear some good music and maybe have a mimosa. If you order food, I'd recommend ordering in person and ordering things that need to be prepared fresh.

You wouldn't know it was there because there is no sign that says 'Smile Tea Bar,' but there is a bright neon sign of a smiley face on the side of the building. As we walked in there was a hallway with more neon signs that lead to a staircase that goes down to the tea bar. At this point I was intrigued and excited to see what was on the other side of this stairwell. We went downstairs and the lighting was low and purple. There were board games on one wall and a collection of vinyl records on the other. It seemed like just the chill, relaxing place we were looking for to play cribbage. One of the guys working behind the bar came up to us right away and greeted us, told us about the kinds of teas they have and was super friendly and welcoming. They have couches by a fireplace, bar seating and tables, but because there was a trivia game going on there weren't any open spots. The friendly guy who originally greeted us pulled up a table and chairs in an open space for my friend and I so we could have our tea and play our game. I found out that they are actually holding a cribbage tournament this weekend. I do wish that these events were promoted on the website instead of spread by word of mouth, but I guess that adds to the mystery of it all. I had the red iced tea which is supposed to help with relaxation and pain relief. I would describe it as a combination of kombucha and a smooth iced tea. I wish I would've gotten a picture of the tea but I was so taken by the ambiance and just fully enjoying the experience. I don't know what they put in their drinks, but everyone who was in the tea bar seemed super friendly and happy to be there. There was even a dog walking around at one point taking in all the pets and love. I would definitely recommend this speakeasy type joint to anyone who wants to experience a trippy, alcohol free bar atmosphere with good, friendly people.

I think Caffetto kind of corners a market that no one else has by being open so late--most coffee shops are barely open past noon, and they're open until midnight! I've personally spent many a late night there finishing up work--it's a really cozy atmosphere, and the selection of pinball machines in the basement are the perfect study break activity. The staff are all great and even when there's a line, they get through it quick and are still able to offer great recommendations--while I usually prefer an iced green tea with no ice, I've tried the lattes, cold press, Thai coffee, and hot chocolate and have genuinely never had a bad drink here. The only thing is to make sure you watch your step if you're walking in the basement--even though it has seating and pinball and the bathroom, it's more of an unfinished space with uneven flooring and I personally rolled my ankle and fell there last year haha.

I had a triple decaf almond milk latte that tasted like it was caffeinated to me but didn't give me the buzz I'm so addicted to, that's when you know it's a good decaf. I love the coziness and the unique artwork in Caffetto. I look forward to coming back at an earlier hour to feed my addiction. But it's great to know I have a go to coffee shop for those afternoon cravings where the decaf tastes just as delightful! UPDATE- 2 hours later: there's additional seating and a pinball machine room in the basement, glad I went downstairs to the bathroom.

I approached the bar and asked for a dirty martini, specified my vodka preference and requested a lesser amount of the brine. Brandy (the bartender), began preparing the cocktail and I knew immediately that she didnt know what she was doing. I tasted a sip of the prepared cocktail and was very disappointed. I asked Brandy if another bartender could prepare the cocktail. Brandy found Dylan. Dylan was excellent. Dylan asked questions about my preference in vodka, how much brine I's like and asked if I wanted a vermouth rinse. Dylan measure the ingredients well and prepared the perfect cocktail. I was so impressed, I continued to order cocktails from Dylan for the remainder of the night and tipped him well. Later in the night, Brandy reapproached me and asked, "You don't trust me to make you a drink?" I explained to Brandy that once I have a bad experience with a bartender or server, I rather try a different server/bartender. It wasn't personal, but I refuse to pay for bad or mediocre service. While Brandy wasn't rude or mean, I believe she could benefit from more training in cocktail crafting and delivering an experience to the customer. I spoke to Hannah who was kind and receptive to my feedback. I would visit again and hope the next time my experience is even better.

Located on the first floor, The Living Room is the hotel bar for The W. I made several visits While…read morein town to celebrate Prince, I stayed at The W and made a few visits to The Living Room. The W was one of the host hotels for the official Prince Celebration 2022 festivities and the official welcome party was held at The Living Room. As to be expected, this party resulted in lots of people who came to dance, drink and to celebrate the 'Purple Yoda from Minnesota'. Surprisingly, this space was an excellent option for the party it has a dance floor area along with a large well-stocked bar which easily accommodated everyone's drink choice. Add to that, they had a few Purple drink specials for the night which were tasty. The bartenders did a great job in processing the nonstop drink orders and the servers were kept very busy throughout the night. When not used for parties, the ambiance is much more laid-back. As the name says, it has more of a 'living room' feel. In addition to the long bar, there are many sections of lounge seating (chars, couches, etc.) which are perfect for unwinding. Even after the party, the bar continued to be well-stocked; so well-stocked that a friend and I made a couple of discoveries while sipping one afternoon. To our surprise, they had a bottle of Old Rip Van Winkle (10 year) along with a bottle of Weller Single Barrel. It's rare to find either at a bar; having both made for an amazing find. My friend and I quickly made it our mission to empty both bottles so we would each have a souvenir from The Living Room (we succeeded). Following the welcome party, the bartenders could have been a bit tired but that was far from the case, they were as energetic and welcoming as they were at the party. If interested in food to go with your adult beverage, they work directly with Manny's Steakhouse (also attached to The W) which means anything from appetizers to a complete steak dinner can be ordered and enjoyed while in The Living Room. On future trips, whether staying at The W or not, I will make a point to stop by The Living Room for an adult beverage or two.
