Great neighborhood place to grab a sip and snacks, and dog friendly! Also has a coffee shop. Really enjoyed my visit here. Lots of great wines to try and they do flights.

This place is amazing! Cool atmosphere and the friendliest staff! Also, coffee is fantastic and cheaper than most places. They even put an espresso ice cube in my iced latte to keep it from getting watery - so good! Finally, get the Purple Rain espresso shot. It's delicious!

I love this little spot. I wanted a chai latte and it was across the street from a work meeting. Off-street parking, cute and comfy, great service. Definitely will go back. I had a lemon poppy seed muffin which was okay. My colleague had the carrot cake and loved it!

This place is charming and approachable. I met a friend here for coffee this morning and was satisfied. The place is run by 3 sisters, love that! Two of them were working this morning and were cheerful, friendly, and warm. The menu had a lot of creative drinks that sounded delicious and thoughtfully crafted, but to be honest I'm a bit of a plain Jane when it comes to coffee. If you're into unique drinks on the sweet side there are lots of options here for sure! They had food options and pastries but I didn't try any this day. Also it's a wine bar later in the day! Resourceful business! I opted for my classic cold brew with almond milk and it was tasty. The coffee was brewed to perfection and was nice and smooth. Good flavor to it too. They had Covid protocols in place with employees wearing masks and sanitized shared items. Overall felt like a gem of a neighborhood coffee place. Great street parking. Good indoor and outdoor seating options avai

Airy, comfy space with good espresso drinks and better-than-adequate beer and wine offerings. Super friendly staff. Great neighborhood.

PHENOMENAL cold brew, and the grilled cheese was sublime. The sauce that came with was just as good. Lovely cafe with a really quirky ambiance and gallery -- definitely a fan ‍

10/10 Friend, 10/10. On a recent trip from Phoenix, the girls and I stumbled across this quaint neighborhood spot. First we came for cheese and wine, and then came back every morning of our trip for coffee and breakfast. The family of owners are so kind and generous, the sisters are so sweet, and we had the best experience. So glad we stumbled across this gem!

Drinks are really sweet and they didn't have a matcha option when I went. But very fun that it's a wine bar and a cafe. Friendly service.

I also got a happy hour tapas plate special of Patatas Bravas which were crispy potato bites sitting in a nice tomato salsa and topped with aioli. It was a perfect amount of food and wine. Service was excellent. I love the vibe. With exposed brick and ceiling, large picture windows and stone bar top, it was cozy and hip. I want to come back and try more tapas plates. A tapas craze crossed the Atlantic in the 1980s and helped launch the small plates revolution. Tapas was hot, hot, hot. Then, like most trends, it fizzled out, and tapas became commonplace. Somehow, Barcelona Wine Bar knew when to catch the public's fancy. These restaurants are popular in every city they're located in, and Minneapolis was no exception. On a Tuesday night, Barcelona Wine Bar was hopping with a loud and youthful crowd, happy to be out on Washington Ave in the North Loop. We found two seats at the crowded bar, and the cacophony was just below annoying, but we could hear each other. Our bartender/server, Jessica, was professional and charming, helping make our second evening in our new neighborhood fun. Although BWB is a chain, the chefs create their own menus. The food was decent, nothing special, but BWB is about the scene. You share some wine, have a few cocktails, and laugh out loud. We had a good time and will return knowing it's not about an award-winning kitchen. Barcelona Wine Bar is about having a good time.

Great little local spot in Saint Paul…read more There's a lot to like about Estelle so I'll try to keep it to what stands out: 1. The menu is wonderful, and the food comforting. The peri peri chicken was surprisingly spicy. I like spicy foods and it was teetering on a bit too hot for me, but I enjoyed the flavors and the dishes as a whole that we sampled. 2. The cocktails are divine. I had two old fashioneds and they were amongst some of the best I've had. 3. The service is impeccable. Friendly, well paced, and professional. 4. The ambiance is really comfortable. I liked that we weren't rushed, and had a really well paced meal in a nice environment. Overall I'd love to return someday. Such a thoughtful touch when they brought out churro bites at the end as a thank you. Amazing food, top tier service, and a really fun but romantic atmosphere. The Luna Burger was standard, and the fries were crispy and salted well (also another generous portion). The fudgy brownie was awesome and I loved the broiled marshmallow fluff on top. For $9 you can get a pour of sparkling wine that has already been opened. Service was friendly, but it was a little odd because our plates were never cleared, so by the end of the meal space was a little tight since there were so many plates on our table. Now that…read moreit's getting dark early (and the cold is starting to creep in), we are all craving something warm and comforting. Petit Leon is just the ticket! We arrived a bit early for our reservation and were seated right away (woo hoo!). Our awesome server, Nico, came by right away with menus, which we eagerly began to peruse. I was stoked to see that they still have an amazing selection of creative zero proof options on the drink menu. I went for a non-alcoholic bubbly (yum!). The menu had some old favorites (hello, piquillo peppers) and some new things. I highly recommend the smashed cucumbers. They are so refreshing and well-balanced. The dill yogurt foam is creamy and tart, and the pickled Fresno peppers and garlic add just the right amount of bright bite. Another don't-miss is the fry bread. Fry bread is delicious however it comes, but this came with whipped ricotta and salsa macha (which became my favorite condiment of all time when it first graced my lips here several years ago) and the loveliest smoked beets I have ever had. (Full disclosure: I am pretty sure they are the only smoked beets I have ever had, which is a crying shame.) For my main, I ordered the cabbage, which was beautifully caramelized and topped with a delightfully umami-heavy mushroom gravy and cloud of grated cheese. It tasted like comfort and home. Bliss! For dessert, I had the tarta de queso, which is one of my favorite desserts in the Twin Cities; creamy and light with just a hint of sweet, this one is a winner, and I am sad it took me so long to discover.

They do offer a Paloma or NA option for people who would like something other than a beer The burgers were much larger than anticipated. Made with two smash patties, cheese, sauce and onions. Mine did seem a little bit too crisp even burnt in some spots which overpowered the other flavors. Still I did find it a good burger I just wouldn't put it in my top in the city. But do get it on a Tuesday night! We did also do the Cheesecake. I might not be the best person to judge as I don't normally pick the cheesecake but I found this one to lack a lot of flavor and it did seem a bit like the vanilla wafer topping might have been a bit stale. The place itself was great. We sat on the patio which is small and on the sidewalk but inside there are lots of cozy booths and a fun bar. And our server was great as well. Just an FYI parking can be a bit tricky in this spot but don't let that keep you away.
