Upon arriving, to my surprise, I found this place to be right next door (the 2 places share the front patio area). I later learned that both places are under the same ownership; M.A.'s Smoke House is the more typical cigar shop while this place is more of a lounge. While they have overlapping hours at certain points of the day; the difference are worth noting. For openers, while they are great choices, this place has a smaller selection of cigars. That said, as I was told, for a greater selection of cigars to M.A.'s Smoke House before they close and then come over here to enjoy your smoke. And enjoy I did, Havana Sports & Cigar Bar has a fully stocked bar which serves craft cocktails. If bourbon, whisky, etc. isn't for you, they also have several beers on tap. The bartenders were both friendly and great at what they do. As if this wasn't enough, this place has pool table which was well kept. There is also plenty (and by plenty, I mean a significant amount) of indoor seating which includes tables/chairs along with comfy couches and chairs. If sitting indoors is not your thing, there is a nice sized sidewalk patio with plenty of comfortable seating/tables. As previously mentioned, the patio is shared with M.A.'s Smoke House. Lastly, there are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity (i.e. walking distance) which makes it easy to make a great evening/night by dining first and then stopping here for and after dinner cigar and cocktail. If you live in the Shreveport area and want a great spot to chillax at; this is it. If you're just visiting and looking for a great chillaxin spot; look no further as this is it. Folks I'm not kidding the man should be considered a national treasure lol. The bar itself is small but classy and has a great atmosphere when it's not packed to the brim lol but even then it's still a good time. The ONLY downfall to this place is that is allows smoking (I don't smoke), but that may be a positive to you smokers out there so hey win win I guess? Lol! No. It has left its longtime beloved, teeny-tiny, cramped and confined space and moved to the former Ernie's Bar on Wall Street near Stoner Ave. Yup. Stoner. That old, EDM dance club now gone, having too, recently closed its doors, but theirs, sadly, for good. So, Fatty's is now where the old Ernie's Bar once was, and is now parking lot mates with Strange Brew, another fantastic tavern. This could truly be a match, as you could park in one place and very easily go to both. And there will be some nights, that I might just do this as I'm quite fond of both. Both venues are live music friendly and it appears that Fatty Arbuckles is really utilizing their new space, inside and out. And why shouldn't they? After being cooped up for so long. The night of my visitation, bands were set up outside. There was a small horse trailer out there selling booze too. So absolutely right on! Giddy up! They also had an amazing server going inside and out all night long. I repositioned a few times without notification and she found me every single time to check on me. Love her! Shreveport homeboy Dylan LeBlanc will be hitting this place soon for a gig before heading to the Continental Club in Houston, and Chickie Wah Wah's in New Orleans. Then, it's off to Denmark for ol' Dylan. I've always dug the namesake of this bar. Tragic, embattled silent film actor and comedian. And equally as tragic, I heard once, that Chris Farley was going to play him in a film. I would've loved to have seen that. But at least we have this bar in a new part of town. And not far from another re-launch as well. Also a live music venue. Bayou Thunder Saloon is now Straight Jackets. So, in close proximity, you now have a triad of clubs: Fatty Arbuckles, Strange Brew, and Straight Jackets. This is going to be rad. The rad triad off Stoner and Wall Street. Wow.

When I came up instead of me paying $20 to go in, they charges me $100 and I was asking security on why would they charge me $100 to go in and they said that I was a nerd. I told them that I was not paying that and all I will pay is for the amount that shows on the door sign. They got the manager and he was extremely rude. They had mistreated me so bad one time to where a dj that I know which I'm not saying his name who is popular cussed me out and never apologize for it. There has been some guys that would drug the women there and one of those women got sexually assaulted in the club. I'm not going to say any names but the case got thrown away. I promise myself to never go there again.
