There is three different hookah to choose from, we also had the choice of 6 different flavors. We stayed for about 90min and the hookah was still working ! I actually signed up for Yelp just to give this place a less than one star review (I wish that were possible). We showed up after the posted opening time of 6 PM and opened the unlocked door only to be greeted with a very rude "we're closed" from a group of people sitting around an already lit hookah. I asked when they were open and they stated 7 PM. I mentioned the posted open time but wasn't too worried. We went and got a beer to wait out the hour and came back at 7:10 only to find the door now locked and the same group of people having not moved around the still lit hookah. Obviously the people working on Wednesday July 14th were more concerned about consuming their own product than serving customers who came back twice. If hours are different then make the appropriate changes vs having customers find ways to fill the time in between. Additionally, if you're going to say you open at another time, be open and don't be lazy still sitting talking while customers would like to enjoy your business. read more

Google says this establishment closes at 12am but my husband and I came at 10:40p and were told by an employee that she decided to close early because there weren't enough people there that she thought she should leave it open til midnight. She told us she already served the last hookah for the night...little did she know, we had 6 more people coming to meet us there. Talk about bad business. Great spot! I was visiting my sister who just moved to South Carolina. We are both hookah lovers and made it point to find a hookah spot for us to visit while I was there. I saw that The Hookah Spot was offering a Groupon and this location was only 15 minutes away from where my sister lives. So I bought it and was very excited to check the place out. The Hookah Spot exceeded my expectations. Beautiful decor, relaxing atmosphere, great music, friendly and informative staff and awesome looking hookahs. We really enjoyed ourselves and I can honestly say that going forward, whenever I'm in SC, I will make sure to make a stop at The Hookah Spot for a fun night. Came here on a Friday night. They said there was a one hour waiting list. Looked around, literally there are empty spots everywhere. Asked a couple if we could join them, they said it was totally fine. Manager came over and told us it we sit with them we would have to pay HALF of the other couple's tab... we were all so shocked (other couple included) so odd? Huge disappointment! Their hours of operation are rather strange. Monday-Thursday 2-5pm then they reopen from 8pm-12am. On top of that they charge a $5 cover fee for entry on the weekend. Per person even if that person in your group isn't planning on smoking hookah. If that isn't the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of! Their hookahs start around $30 a pop, and the flavors are designated already so you can't mix and match flavors. They don't even sell liquor or food. For anyone who regularly smokes hookah... I highly recommend purchasing your own personal hookah because coming here is a definitely a rip off if you enjoy hookah as much as I do! read more

This place is trash! I'm literally about to report it to the BBB. Just came here at 11:11 --- according to their hours they close at 12. Door was locked- worker came to the door told me they close an hour before closing time so I said you closed 11 mins ago? I can't get a quick hookah? He said no. I didn't say anything then he slammed the door in my face and locked in. What type of customer service is this???? The people that work here literally think they are the elite of all bars. My friend is an aspiring comic and had initially contacted the owner inquiring about the Open Mic night. She was told to come sign up at 8:30. We arrived and she spoke with the owner, he was rude and indifferent. My other friend told the waitress/hostess (she was nice) and she overheard the hostess and the owner share a laugh when she told them our friend was here for Open Mic night (How horrible). I would not suggest you go here due to the rudeness and the owner and to host a night that he acted like he had never heard of my friend when she had their FB conversation saved to confirm their interaction. read more

This is a nice place to come and unwind with friends/ co workers or by yourself. My crew came Friday and Saturday night for his birthday gift from us to him. I was there last month. While I and my companion enjoyed it, I thought it was a bit pricey and smokey and there is a cover charge. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. While they may not have alcohol, they do serve cheap American beer. No thank you. However, the thing that annoys me the most is being able to get in touch with them. Most often when I call, they either don't answer or I get their voice mail. The mailbox is always full, so forget leaving a message. My attempts to email them have also gone unanswered. read more
