Furthermore, I loved the framed, and hanging, soccer flags, which was a marked contrast to the professional and college sports paraphernalia at your typical American sports bar. Even though it's an English restaurant, they still had a lot of the popular local and domestic beers, to go along with the more English-themed beverages. I asked if they had any "sours", and the bartender was kind enough to offer me a sample of the two (2) sours that they had on tap, and let me choose the one I liked the most. The aforementioned bartender was great, and I overheard him offering some folks from out-of-town with recommendations for nearby late-night spots and high-quality local joints. Finally, my simple order of chicken tenders and fries was pretty good, and I thoroughly enjoyed their steak-cut "chips," or French Fries. All-in-all, I waited too long to try out the British Bulldog, which was a great pub experience that definitely lived up to my high expectations. Some call it a dive bar, some are more generous; are there sticky tables, servers with tattoos, a busy bar were suds and cheaper whiskey prevail, and original paint? You bet! Let's get to the food. Lucky's menu features a variety of burgers, salads, wings, hotdogs and sides. Don't expect beer on tap, but an extensive selection of bottled beer should satisfy most folks. We ordered a Black and Blu burger with onion straws and a patty melt with fries. From the time we walked in until our food arrived probably took about 25 minutes. That was our own fault as we took way too long deciding what to order. When our food arrived, I immediately dug into the well constructed burger. I could barely open my mouth wide enough. And the taste? Very tasty. My wife enjoyed her patty melt--a burger on marbled rye with cheese and cooked onions that holds up surprisingly well! My onion straws were crunchy and sweet. My wife and I spent $50 per person on Eventbrite to skip the line instead of $20 general admission. We got there around 12 am after the concert let out and there was literally like 10 people in line ( they scammed my a$$), no need to skip. They were charging $40 at the door for general admission. Got there and it was dead . Pros, coming from ATL and paying a lot to hangout it was very cheap to party here. The wifey and I had 3 drinks a peace ( Ciroc/ sprite and Crown/ Red Bull ) and 2 lemon drop shots. We also has 30 wings, nachos and seafood dip and I only spent $77 that was with gratuity included . I had to add and extra $50 tip. Our waitress was super cool, music was good and we got the souther hospitality vibe and treatment.
