We had just finished hiking and craved a good burger and shake. We did not get that here. We received our food and the burgers looked dry and stale. We took 1 bite and the bun was green on the inside. MOLD! When we requested a refund they only refunded 1/3 of the order. They obviously don't know what customer service is. We go there often. I love the Boudin Balls they are the best. Be prepared to wait, they are fresh, not cooked and sitting on a hot plate. The onion rings are great. Burgers are good. I think better than chain burger places. Patties are a good size and vegetables fresh. Some people think there slow, but they don't cook until you place your order. read more

I was working in the area so I decided to give this place a try. Had a cheeseburger, fries, and iced tea. The cheeseburger was OK, didn't wow me but the ingredients seemed fresh. They didn't melt the cheese onto the patty. The tea was good, and the fries were great. I like them crispy, and these were, without being overcooked. They also weren't overseasoned, so I was able put just the right amount of salt on them. This place is definitely a viable option if you are in the area. read more

On our way to Lake Livingston we decided to stop in for lunch before hitting the town square for Trade Days. It was like a blast to the past with the decorations, juke box in the corner, and the great prices. We both got the daily special of a cheeseburger, French fries, and a drink for $6.95. It took about 15 minutes or so for the food to come out. The place was packed so we expected a wait. It was a great burger! The perfect amount of mayo and mustard with lots of cheese. The fries were very soft not as crunchy as I like them. For what you get the price is great. They were packed and it seemed like they dealt with the crowd well especially two groups with children. I will definitely be back and probably get the onion rings instead which looked awesome. read more

I've tried this place several times and I just don't get the hype. It's always full of people so maybe it's just me. This is a cheap county fair hamburger and the cheapest French fries Sysco sells. It's just not good. Mostly because the quality food they purchase to cook. But why change a thing? The place is always packed. I just don't get it, but hey, to each there own. Great prices and a good food. Cute and clean. In our group we had burgers, a malt, a shake, a patty melt and nachos. The patty melt was phenomenal and the shakes were so thick and delicious! I've eaten here several times and it's a very good burger. They also serve pizzas, salads, sandwiches, chili and so on, but everyone seems to order the burgers. Children's items available also, and a drive through, but call ahead or order shakes or malts or ice cream in the drive though because the burgers are made to order an take about 10 minutes to arrive at your table. Counter order and pick up but sometimes they will deliver to your table after shouting out your name. Onion rings are excellent, french fries are plentiful. read more

Two times we have pulled up to order through the drive-thru and two times we have left because the employee wasn't wearing a mask. When I called to speak to the manager she was rude and hung up on me. Terrible service and they do not care about the health and safety of their customers. read more

My family and I ordered a pizza through the drive thru and after waiting 30 minutes, we got a cold, hard, nasty pizza. They use to have great food but this was just barely a step above frozen pizza. Was horribly disappointed. Will NEVER eat there again. read more

It's a repurposed Dairy Queen with a typical Dairy Queen menu. The food isn't bad, but is nothing to write home about. We stop every time we're in the area for a shake or an ice cream. There's not a lot of selection in Coldspring, so it's in the top 3 (of around 3) restaurants in the area. :) read more

Usually friendly service, and decent food, pending what you you order. Decent burgers that are always better than fast food burgers. AMAZING ONION RINGS that can't be topped. Their shakes and malts are a tad on the pricey side but they are most delicious. I'm not a fan of the french fries as they are just "blah" and on the bland side. read more
