    pumpkin pie ale!
    Tiffany S.

Visited Third Nature for the first time for a friend's wedding. The staff here offerings - from the beer (hi pumpkin pie ale!!) to the food - were awesome. I was really impressed with the diversity of the buffet food so guessing that they have some solid menu items if you come here regularly - we had: Cocktail Hour Appetizers: dry-rub wings, warm soft pretzel sticks Dinner Buffet: Pulled Pork Sandwich Bar, Street Bowl Bar, Caesar Salad, Brisket Chipotle Chili, Beer Cheese Mac (Cavatappi pasta, beer cheese sauce, sriracha bread crumbs & scallions). I also thought it was such a nice touch that they had grilled cheese and "regular" mac & cheese for the kiddos. The venue itself is pretty lovely - especially right now in fall as it's right along a trail & surrounded by trees. It's also a pretty large outdoor space with firepits and really cool Adirondack chairs with the shape of Michigan Mitten as the backrest. I'd definitely come back on my own if and when I'm in the area.

We made the trip out here because we wanted to sit in the Biergarten :) i loved the variety of seating and how much room there was for how many people there were. The inside was very nice as well. Big nature murals everywhere! They were quite busy when we arrived so it took some time for someone to greet us and find us a table. Once we were seated though our server came out right away with waters and got our drink order in. To start we tried out their Bavarian Pretzel! This was so good and the salt was abundant! Really liked dipping my pretzel in the cheese and the other end in the mustard. Such a good combination of flavor. Really loved this starter. We ordered a flight to get more tastes of their alcohol and I liked some (not much of a beer drinker) and my partner really liked ALL of them! For entrees, we both wanted the chicken sandwich. The white cheddar was melted perfectly over the crispy chicken and whatever sauce they used was the right amount of spicy. I absolutely devoured this. I ordered the sweet potato fries and he ordered the regular fries. Overall loved our experience here! We left before the storm rolled in but next time we wanna explore the trails nearby!

This was a pretty cool spot for a new date night idea. We were specifically looking for an outdoor patio and we have always heard great things about Third Natures outdoor space. It's definitely a drive from us but we enjoyed it on a beautiful day. The staff was all very friendly and made great suggestions on their food and drink menus. We sat down at the end of happy hour so we quickly ordered the pretzel sticks with beer cheese and a few drinks. We enjoyed our drinks and the pretzel sticks were burning hot and delicious. We both liked the side of mustard more than the beer cheese dip. The wings are a special on Wednesdays for a half dozen order for only $5. We were shocked by this deal because a full order was almost $22.. this price seemed insane for 12 wings. For our dinner, I had the fried chicken sandwich with a side Caesar salad and my wife had the street bowl. They were both very good but my wife said she preferred mine. The portions were great which matches the pricing. Overall, cool outdoor space that's great for families or dogs. The food menu had a great variety of options and the happy hour menu was a great deal.

This place is gorgeous for a brewery Painted walls with stories to tell So pretty and relaxing They have an outdoor area with fire pits and heat lamps Lots of beer but I chose wine and it was so good and the pretzel was huge and yummy with spicy mustard Great place to have a fun Saturday

What an absolutely beautiful campus this brewery sits on. Large indoor area that opens out to a massive outdoor patio and then lots of open space after that. While I didn't eat here, the food looked amazing. The beer was great! And at the end of the day that's what I was here for and I was not disappointed. It was pretty crowded and the service was still spot on. No complaints at all.

The service is great. Lots of fun drink options. We got the Orange Radler. Fun summer fresh beer. The food was good. The chicken sandwich was basically a chicken finger on a brioche bun with a spicy sauce. The turkey sandwich was pretty good. Lots of flavor. Great ambiance. The outside setting is what you come for. Very inviting and peaceful.

Outdoor patio is the best part!

The food and beer are good, near average for a brew pub, but you come here for the location. On the forest edge, the dining area is sprawling with fire pits, picnic tables and even some lawn games. There are always kids and a dog or two hanging outside. Very casual, like a backyard family party, no one will rush your check. There is a clean and bright indoor dining area too, if you prefer. Standout menu items: Street Bowl, Montgomery pizza, and pretzel app. Seasonal brews are interesting. If you want faster service, try getting closer to the bar. A great place to bring friends or family and just chill.

We came here on a Wednesday night It was not too busy. It was also trivia night so a few more people kept trickling in. I love their beer selection. I opted for a flight and most of the beers were pretty good. I ordered the Banh Mi Burger with sweet potato fries. Burger was very good with the veggies on it. The cucumber slices were pretty big but gave it a fresh taste. The sweet potato fries were kinda soggy and kinda disappointing since it was a $3.00 up charge. They have a nice little kids menu that made my 3 year old happy. And even a little dessert menu. We tried the crème brûlée. It was very tasty. Our service was pretty good. Our server was attentive at first and then seemed to get lost. Overall, it was a good time. We tried to play a little trivia but only got through a few rounds. I think you have to be there all night to play to the end. We would definitely come back for the beer!

This has become my husband and I's favorite brewery in the area. The beer is delicious and we're obsessed with the black bean hummus appetizer. Staff is extremely friendly and there is a ton of indoor and outdoor space. It's in a beautiful setting and feels so serene. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!

Such a nice place to hang out with friends but the day we went was pretty cold, and this place is sort of indoor mixing outdoor, so I didn't spend much time in here. I saw they have music live band going on at night, if the weather become warmer, it must be a great experience having dinner here. I order an avocado + pork bowl, it taste OK but just too light for me.

Great spot for a casual hang with friends, the family, and the dog! Their outdoor patio is unmatched in the GR area and includes a large space with multiple fire pits, tables, lounge seating, and yard games. It's also right along the path of the White Pine Trail which is great for bikers and walkers/running looking for a starting or ending point. Our kids love it here because they aren't tied to their seats. There is plenty of room for them to run around in the surrounding grass and up towards the trail. And you won't be alone... it's very family friendly. Dogs are welcome too and you'll be able to visit with plenty. Food is fantastic. We love their hearty salads and slow roasted meats - burnt ends are fantastic. And they have an excellent kids menu. We've loved all the food we've tried there. The brews are also good. I'm a wine drinker myself (which they have and I mostly drink) but my husband enjoys their brews.

I absolutely love third natures beer garden. The setting is beautiful there large fire pit is welcoming and it is just a lovely place to hang out. I wish I love their beers and food as much. Their Seoul stout is good and they have a lot of variety. I just haven't found a favorite there yet. The food can be hit or miss. On our last visit, we decided to split the burnt ends only to laugh when it came out because it is so tiny. For $18 I guess we were expecting more. My husband ate the majority of it. He said it was fine but did not taste like smoked brisket more like tender pot roast covered in barbecue sauce. The corn purée underneath was delicious. Staff is friendly enough.

Every menu offering looks delicious, and every beer tried was tasty. And I mean every beer was very, very good in terms of balanced flavors, a wide variety of hops and brewing methods = a very superior experience highly recommended. Perfect afternoon spot in late April sun.

Food is good most of the time. It's the service that is hit or miss. Even sitting at the bar can lack attention. We enjoy taking our dogs.

The problem is top down from the General Manger, Shift Manager, and very poorly trained server. Also very average bar food for fine dining prices. When we arrived it was busy so we expected things to take a minute. However after sitting for 15 minutes we flagged down a waitress. She wasn't ours but took our order which we appreciated. Our server finally showed up. Took 5 mins to get water and another 10 to get our drink order. Then 40 mins latter still no food. The people who sat behind us arrived after us had their food and by the time we got our food they were done. All the while our server never came to our table. I flagged a busboy asked him to find our server and asked to see a manager. By this time we had already been there over an hour. The shift manager show up before our food and rather than apologize for the poor service he proceeded to tell us the excuses for why our food has taken so long. I finally got tired of his excuses I said "stop making excuses and get us our food". A few minutes later the food showed up. No silverware, salt/pepper, ketchup or drink refills. Again asked a bus person to help. Waitress never came back. After a few minutes the General Manager came out accused us of being disrespectful to his server and shift manager and proceeded to start swearing at us. We never said anything to the server and the only thing I said to the shift manager was stop making excuses and get our food. The GM again never acknowledged the poor service and accused us of swearing and being disrespectful. Never listened to us and asked us to leave. He threatened to physically remove me rather than listen to how bad the service was ‍ Incompetence at all levels. Save your time and money.

As soon as you walk in, there are games, chips for sale, and a water cooler with reusable cups. The place was busy. Many folks eating and drinking. There were two seats at the bar, both on either side of a young lady; so I asked if I could take one and she said yes! As it turned out, she was an off duty employee just having a beer. We chatted a bit while I ordered a flight. I love that the flight is not limited. You can have as many 2.5 ounce beers as you want! Each are priced separately. I perused the food menu and checked out the merch. Sadly they did not have the tshirt I liked in my size. They also sell beanies, glassware and hoodies. Oh, and beer to go! I enjoyed the two IPAs with Good Good being my fave, followed by IPA#1. The porter was good and so was the Kona brown. The fade was my least fave, and it pretty much tasted like Guinness, but I did drink it all. I have preferences but I also have values! Lol. The off duty employee and I chatted awhile, even looping in the bar tender and my other bar stool neighbor, especially when it came down to naming the artists on the decorative candles (see pic). We were having so much fun that we decided on her having another beer and me getting a couple more samples. The Mosacca IPA was really good. The Economy, gotta love the name, was also good and the most affordable beer! Look at them looking out for the people. Loved this place. The locals are friendly. Did not eat but all the food I saw looked good! Would return to enjoy more beer, fun convos and to buy a size small shirt!

The Kona Brown a solid brown coffee ale. In my opinion, that is a pretty big miss for a brewery. And I didn't love any of them.
