This place is only open once a month maybe 2 times a month. Don't waste your time on a $9 hotdog .

But today I didn't need neither. This sandwich was so tender so flavorful in that bread. OMG yeah that bread was like the best part so soft, almost melt in your mouth with the meat. Don't get me on the barbecue sauce because the barbecue sauce will have you slapin your mama. It is so good. The only thing that I would add is a little bit more spiciness to it but that's just me I like spicy but it was absolutely perfect. Me and my whole group absolutely enjoyed our sandwich and we were highly disappointed that when the parade was over they was done because we wanted some more. The service was great. They were fast and I believe that they were very clean family and African-American operated. They have been seen on the Food Network.. I was told by the owner that they smoke everything themselves and make everything themselves. We loved it. I wish they were in Atlanta. I'll leave here probably once a week.

The line was already long, and the atmosphere quickly became chaotic. Customers were standing around waiting with little communication about what was going on. There was confusion, people trying to figure out when they would actually be served, and no clear organization for the line or orders. Around 6:15, they were serving other trucks/customers who arrived later, while people who had already been waiting for hours were still not being served. The overall ambiance felt unorganized and frustrating, with a lot of standing around, confusion, and a lack of customer service. Our order was finally taken around 7:00, and we received our food around 7:45. The food was okay, but it was definitely not worth the hype. We ordered two burgers--one was over-seasoned, and the other was just a regular burger. The fries tasted like they came straight from the freezer, the cheese was just basic cheese, and the food appeared to have been sitting around instead of being freshly prepared. The wings were sitting in the fryer, and a worker was asking if anyone wanted wings instead of preparing them when ordered. There were also several wrong orders being made, and food was being refried. They ran out of certain burger options and didn't have enough supplies. Overall, the service, organization, and atmosphere did not match the hype. The experience was disappointing, especially considering the long wait.

If I could give this place zero stars, I most definitely would!…read more It cost us $50 for 2 burgers and one punch. We had no problem paying the price for the food because we had heard such great things about the food. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, the staff proceeded to inform us the fryer was down. Okay, no biggie. However, no one received a discount for the fries not coming with our burger even though that is half of the meal. After being informed that the fryer was down, it still took the staff ANOTHER 45 minutes to give us our food. Not to mention that the staff was continuing to serve "friends" who did not stand in the LONG line like the rest of the paying customers, which was making several other customers mad. What was so upsetting was that one of our burgers included items that were to come from the fryer, so essentially we paid $18 for a bacon cheeseburger. Needless to say all we were compensated with was a sad apology, over priced hamburgers, and an hour and a half wasted. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Absolutely incredible. Buttery, perfectly toasted bread, gooey melted cheese, and generous chunks of fresh, flavorful lobster... every single bite was on point! Just had the pleasure of trying these guys out yesterday and I'm impressed! Having spent many years…read morein Massachusetts and eaten all over New England, I'm picky about lobster. These guys didn't disappoint. But before I get into the food, let's talk about these newcomers. Since many people are familiar with the Cousins Maine Lobster truck (CML), which my family have been fans of for over 10 years, let's compare them to Danner's, the new kid in town. First of all, Danner's is a local Spanish Fort family business versus a massive "Shark Tank" franchise. When you look at the numbers, Danner's wins on value for the hot dishes. Their Lobster Grilled Cheese is a steal at $16 compared to the $20 Cousins charges for the same item. Their Lobster Mac & Cheese is also $16, whereas Cousins' specialty items like tacos hit the $20 mark. As for the classic Lobster Rolls, Danner's is $24 for Hot or Cold rolls. That is about a dollar more than the franchise, but Danner's explicitly markets their rolls as containing a solid 1/4 lb of meat so you know exactly what you are getting. Another huge plus is the variety. Franchise trucks often have strict menus that alienate people who don't eat seafood. Danner's solves this by offering a Philly Cheese Steak for $8.00. This is a huge "pro" for groups where one person might not like lobster. They also have the Maine Pink Hot Dog, which is the real authentic deal. Fun note: in Maine they call them Snappers, but they changed the name here so local customers wouldn't be confused with the local Snapper fish! They also offer a "Cali Lobster Roll" for $25 with bacon, avocado, and chipotle aioli if you want some culinary flair. However, for us, it's really all about the LOBSTAH. The lobster roll comes with some melted butter and a fresh lemon wedge. Here's the big comparison: My Cape Cod honey prefers her lobster almost naked with a very lobster-forward taste, and too much mayo turns her off. That checks the boxes for CML, but Danner's is a bit more "wet" for her. On the other hand, I was just fine with the little added sauce. It wasn't mayo or sweet but rather a very tasty mix of extra seasoning and herbs. Verdict on just the lobster roll? I'd go to Danner's 3 out of 4 times if they were sitting side-by-side. The homemade potato salad was fantastic. They have dropped their French fries, which is no big deal in my book. The chowder was a bit too thick and potatoey, and I'm not a bacon-on-chowdah fan, but the Snapper was authentic on a toasted split top bun. Their blueberry cheesecake is terrific! Bottom line: The food was fresh, the portions were solid, and the family (including a youngster) was friendly and welcoming. I seriously love to support a family-operated business out of Spanish Fort versus a chain. I highly recommend these folks!

The chips are served nice and warm and have a light crunch to them, not overly heavy. Their salsa is just addictive and when you pair it with their queso, it's ridiculous. I ordered the chicken supreme dish I think is what it was called. Chicken breast flattened and nicely grilled, topped with mushrooms and onions and cheese. Serve with rice and beans, I couldn't finish at all, but I surely wanted to. The service was very friendly and attentive, mostly comfortable atmosphere. Loud patrons, a couple boot away, put a damp around things, but that's not really the fault of the restaurant, just inconsiderate, loud patrons. The only issue I have, is when we walked in the place just kind of smelled funky. They had a couple of candles lit, I think to mask the odor. And I really can't say what it was, but it was across between maybe garbage and trash smell. Aside from the unpleasant smell when you walk in, the food and service was on point. I would absolutely come back here for takeout.

Parking was easy for the area and well lit. We were seated quickly and the usual chips and salsa arrived pronto. Salsa was very tasty, likely made in house. Menu has almost too many options, everything you could want in a restaurant like this. Made our selections and the food was outstanding. Fresh, delicious, and spicy enough without being crazy hot. Server was prompt with tea refills and attentive to all our needs. Dining room was not overly loud even with a couple of large groups and a kids birthday party in full swing. Nice dinner and dining experience, we will return.
