This is a fun night out!…read more Boxing is an amazing Sport. I really admire and respect the heart and dedication of a fighter. What is great about All Star Boxing Events is that these are local, club fights. The venues alternate. Mainly they are held at Quiet Cannon in Montebello or the Bonaventure Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. The ballrooms are relatively small , so every seat is good one. Not at all like being at the Staples Center or other larger arenas where you have to watch the fights on the screen because the ring is so far away. You can see all the action from anywhere in the ballroom. The fighters are up and coming fighters, who really give it their all. They bring with them guys/gals from their gyms, their friends and family to cheer them on. The energy in the air is electric! There is ample parking, a full bar, drinks, beer, food, sexy ring girls and a DJ. You may even see a celebrity guest or two in attendance, along with current and former world champions and Olympians. Be sure to bring your camera! I highly recommend going to an All Star Event! Take your friends !Make it a date night. Make it a guys or girls night out. Bring your clients or business partners and have a meeting. You won't be disappointed! The classes are never boring, challenge you, and the teachers hold you accountable, all in their own way. I've been getting 1:1 sessions with Juden as well and it's helped my confidence (let's be real, a lifelong project) and form. I never thought I could lift the way I do at Zero Givens. We're all met where we're at and there's always something new going on. This old timer won't be stopping anytime soon.

The 5 am workout class works best with my work schedule but I love the flexibility this gym provides by giving me access to the rest the of the gym while the next workout class starts up. At 56 years old, I wanted to avoid injury & additional aches & pains to my joints (which were brought on by running Marathons). I made it a priority to focus on body form & flexibility. At 5 or 6 weeks in, I started adding weights to the workout & I'm loving the results. I'm slowly & cautiously adding weights as time goes on & I'm learning to trust the process as I see the transformation & sculpting my body is taking on. Part of the process is changing my habits to make consistency part of my health journey & TRUSTING-the-PROCESS. The absolute BEST thing about this gym is the GOAT, Coach Juden. She is very knowledgeable, understanding, & supportive without sounding like a drill Sargent (though, I'm sure she can pile it on if that is your style). The energy at this gym is always positive, which influences my day to stay on the positive side. I love their weekly focus schedule. Take a look, I attached a photo.

I should've left a review for this gym sooner (also this a bit of an accountability review since…read moreI've been less consistent with going hahaha), but there's a reason for so many positive reviews. I've casually tried other Muay Thai gyms in the past, but they often suggested bag classes for women. Here you can choose from a variety of classes and there's an emphasis on both getting a good workout and learning the form of each movement. As a person with massive social anxiety because I'm definitely not a fast learner, I'm always worried when doing group classes and partner drills that I'm slowing people down. However, I've never taken a class here where I've felt judged by anyone. Everyone from the coaches to the other students are always super supportive and encouraging. There's a culture of students helping each other while coaches make sure everyone of all skill levels is being challenged. You also have the option of doing private training. If you're curious at all, try the intro session and I promise you that you won't regret at least trying.

The coaching is outstanding -- technical, motivating, and deeply rooted in authentic Muay Thai discipline. What really sets this place apart is the balance of structure, support, and respect. My daughters gained confidence, discipline, and resilience, and we all genuinely looked forward to every class. Her favorite coach was Brody, but she also loved training with Coach Sam, Devonte, Joe, and Mike. Each coach pushed her to improve while keeping every session fun and encouraging. Camila had to take a short break because of her busy schedule now that flag football season has started, but she's so excited to put everything she learned at NXTLVL into action with her new club team. Thank you to the entire NXTLVL team for all your support and for creating such a positive, motivating environment for young athletes!

The space is clean, well run, and set up perfectly for youth training. What stood out most was the environment. It's competitive but still positive, and the kids were always excited to be there. The trainers do a great job keeping things organized while pushing players to work hard and improve. You can tell they care about development, not just running kids through drills. If you're looking for a gym where players can get better, build confidence, and enjoy the process, NXTLVL is a great choice. We're glad we trained here and would absolutely recommend it to other families and teams. We are MOST DEFINITELY coming back in the offseason.

Bottom Line Up Front: I give this gym 5 out of 5 stars --…read moreand that says a lot because I've been training in martial arts since 1995 and am a certified instructor in multiple systems. But let me break it down as to why it gets my seal of approval. What You'll Learn: Rounders offers multiple martial arts: Boxing, Muay Thai (kickboxing), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kali (a Filipino knife-fighting system), and Mixed Martial Arts (which combines striking, wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu). In the past they have also offered wrestling and Judo. So there's something for everyone. Regardless of what class you pick, you'll learn how to protect yourself while getting a great workout. What You'll Gain: Like I mentioned, you'll get a killer workout in a safe and fun environment. According to some studies, you could burn anywhere between 300 to 800 calories in a single 1-hour kickboxing class. It's far more efficient (and fun!) than running on a treadmill. And the added bonus is that you'll learn self-defense along the way. Who You'll Meet: From co-owner Joe Kim to all the other instructors, the coaches here are physically talented, knowledgeable, and easy-going despite being deadly warriors. They create a positive atmosphere so that everyone -- from brand new rookies to combat sports veterans -- has fun while learning. And that trickles down through to the students, who are all supportive and welcoming. The Space: The gym is medium-ish in size compared to other gyms in the area; enough to hold one large group or two smaller sessions at the same time. The equipment is top notch. And the workout space is well maintained. There's also a small section for weight training, too. The Cost: I've visited other gyms with outrageous prices (like $200 a month for only Jiu-Jitsu!). Fortunately, tuition here is reasonably priced -- with options to drop-in, go month-to-month, or commit to 6 months or a full year. (The latter two doesn't mean you have to pay upfront, just that you'll be charged automatically for your chosen time frame and save more over the long term.) And considering those options give you unlimited classes for all of the martial arts classes, Rounders is totally worth it. Conclusion: Rounders MMA Fullerton is an ideal gym to join, whether you're looking to lose weight, learn some self-defense, or just belong to a cool community who will encourage and grow with you.
