This is a fun night out!…read more Boxing is an amazing Sport. I really admire and respect the heart and dedication of a fighter. What is great about All Star Boxing Events is that these are local, club fights. The venues alternate. Mainly they are held at Quiet Cannon in Montebello or the Bonaventure Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. The ballrooms are relatively small , so every seat is good one. Not at all like being at the Staples Center or other larger arenas where you have to watch the fights on the screen because the ring is so far away. You can see all the action from anywhere in the ballroom. The fighters are up and coming fighters, who really give it their all. They bring with them guys/gals from their gyms, their friends and family to cheer them on. The energy in the air is electric! There is ample parking, a full bar, drinks, beer, food, sexy ring girls and a DJ. You may even see a celebrity guest or two in attendance, along with current and former world champions and Olympians. Be sure to bring your camera! I highly recommend going to an All Star Event! Take your friends !Make it a date night. Make it a guys or girls night out. Bring your clients or business partners and have a meeting. You won't be disappointed! Our daughter Camila spent a year training at NXTLVL Sport and Fitness and loved every second of it!…read moreThe program made a huge difference in her flag football and soccer skills--her speed, agility, and confidence have grown tremendously. Her favorite coach was Brody, but she also loved training with Coach Sam, Devonte, Joe, and Mike. Each coach pushed her to improve while keeping every session fun and encouraging. Camila had to take a short break because of her busy schedule now that flag football season has started, but she's so excited to put everything she learned at NXTLVL into action with her new club team. Thank you to the entire NXTLVL team for all your support and for creating such a positive, motivating environment for young athletes!

The space is clean, well run, and set up perfectly for youth training. What stood out most was the environment. It's competitive but still positive, and the kids were always excited to be there. The trainers do a great job keeping things organized while pushing players to work hard and improve. You can tell they care about development, not just running kids through drills. If you're looking for a gym where players can get better, build confidence, and enjoy the process, NXTLVL is a great choice. We're glad we trained here and would absolutely recommend it to other families and teams. We are MOST DEFINITELY coming back in the offseason.

He was professional, approachable, and took the time to clearly walk me through everything without making it feel overwhelming. What stood out the most was how easy he made the whole experience, he answered all my questions, stayed patient, and made sure I felt confident with my decision. That kind of service really sets the tone for new members. Mike is definitely an asset to the team and represents the gym very well. Appreciate the great experience.

I joined UFC Gym La Mirada four years ago after one Jiu-Jitsu trial class with Coach Anthony…read moreRenteria, and that single class changed my path completely. Anthony wasn't just a coach -- he built athletes. He mentored, developed, and inspired students like me to grow beyond what we thought was possible. The Jiu-Jitsu program had identity, structure, and leadership. Recently, Coach Mikey Alcantar has been a great addition. He's skilled, motivating, and brings high-level instruction to the mats. The students genuinely respect him However, it's frustrating to see the gym consistently fail to retain quality Jiu-Jitsu coaches. Strong leadership keeps a program alive, and the instability has affected the community. On top of that, the Jiu-Jitsu class schedule is limited and not flexible enough for working adults. Serious students need consistent training opportunities. Because of poor coach retention and restricted class times, many dedicated students have felt forced to leave and train elsewhere. The gym has potential -- but without stable coaching and better scheduling, it's difficult for the Jiu-Jitsu program to thrive long term.

I had trained at a few different mma gyms before finding Rounders, and it is by far the best!…read moreExtremely welcoming whether you're a beginner or advanced. Within my first week here I already felt like family. Great environment, The coaches are amazing (Specifically Joe, Steve, and Miguel) I'm glad to have found a gym that I can call home. Couldn't recommend it enough! Would give 6 stars if possible

Bottom Line Up Front: I give this gym 5 out of 5 stars --…read moreand that says a lot because I've been training in martial arts since 1995 and am a certified instructor in multiple systems. But let me break it down as to why it gets my seal of approval. What You'll Learn: Rounders offers multiple martial arts: Boxing, Muay Thai (kickboxing), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kali (a Filipino knife-fighting system), and Mixed Martial Arts (which combines striking, wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu). In the past they have also offered wrestling and Judo. So there's something for everyone. Regardless of what class you pick, you'll learn how to protect yourself while getting a great workout. What You'll Gain: Like I mentioned, you'll get a killer workout in a safe and fun environment. According to some studies, you could burn anywhere between 300 to 800 calories in a single 1-hour kickboxing class. It's far more efficient (and fun!) than running on a treadmill. And the added bonus is that you'll learn self-defense along the way. Who You'll Meet: From co-owner Joe Kim to all the other instructors, the coaches here are physically talented, knowledgeable, and easy-going despite being deadly warriors. They create a positive atmosphere so that everyone -- from brand new rookies to combat sports veterans -- has fun while learning. And that trickles down through to the students, who are all supportive and welcoming. The Space: The gym is medium-ish in size compared to other gyms in the area; enough to hold one large group or two smaller sessions at the same time. The equipment is top notch. And the workout space is well maintained. There's also a small section for weight training, too. The Cost: I've visited other gyms with outrageous prices (like $200 a month for only Jiu-Jitsu!). Fortunately, tuition here is reasonably priced -- with options to drop-in, go month-to-month, or commit to 6 months or a full year. (The latter two doesn't mean you have to pay upfront, just that you'll be charged automatically for your chosen time frame and save more over the long term.) And considering those options give you unlimited classes for all of the martial arts classes, Rounders is totally worth it. Conclusion: Rounders MMA Fullerton is an ideal gym to join, whether you're looking to lose weight, learn some self-defense, or just belong to a cool community who will encourage and grow with you.
