Next is a tour of the facilities where you see the well decorated, clean rooms, and state of the art high tech equipment for X-rays and what appeared to be hospital grade sterilization! Paid a lot of money more than usual for a first consultation went for a tooth ache nothing was done about it so needless to say I left with a toothache the doctor was more concerned about cosmetic surgery which I didn't have a issue with but I needed the tooth that I was having a problem with to be addressed. I always have anxiety going to the dentist because I have had several oral surgeries, braces, and invisalign treatment. However Rosie at the Houston Dentist was wonderful and amazing! she calmed my nerves and chatted with me prior to starting, which helped me tremendously. Rosie gave me headphones with Nucalm, heated blanket, keratin gloves and heated mittens. I felt like I was at a spa, not about to get my teeth cleaned. She had photos taken of my face, my shoulders, and stature to ensure the right size for the new veneers. February 2024... My dental appointment with my hygienist always begins with chat time and catchup on both dental information , changes that affected me between visits. I suffer from TMJ. For the past year, I've experienced pain in my jaw area, bite problems and clicking that hampered my daily life. Step by step, the changes have been discussed and we talk about remedies and options. The staff are like friends. I've got some tooth sensitivity issues and she makes sure to accommodate and work around it as much as possible. We went through my dental history and she explained everything perfectly.
