The staff here are hands down the best! Located off of Gessner near Richmond in a one story brick building. Plenty of parking. Checkin was easy & before long H took his "no-feelz" pill to knock him out. They provide a large room for the patients & guest to wait. The patient is placed in a recliner until they are ready to be taken back into the back where the magic happens. After nodding off H had to be wakened & taken into one of the operating rooms. Once he was settled I went back to the waiting room & since there were no other patients I snagged a recliner. The place is kept cold so wear a jacket & layers. I fell asleep & when woken up someone had put a blanket on me. Awwwww, just like mom used to do. The doctors are specialists & know what they are doing. They do their job really well & H is headed in the right direction for oral health. After receiving after-care information I pulled the car up front so they could wheel H out. Several days later, I informed Dr. H. that I was still in pain subsequent to the prescription antibiotic mouth wash he prescribed for me. He informed me that the pain would go away once the new crown arrived. The new crown arrived and I informed him that I had to re-order additional antibiotic mouthwash and my tooth was still in pain. He insisted that everything will be fine once He inserted the new crown. I was very reluctant to have the new crown place over my aching tooth. I wanted him to realize that I absolutely did not want the new crown without further investigation. I informed him that I requested a second opinion from my doctor at MD Anderson. I was confident that he would stop with my request. Dr. H proceeded to Informed me in a manner of authority that I did not have cancer and placed the new crown over my infected root canal. After a Short time, my new crown was seeping puss. When I returned to see him he became very nervous and started to call other dental specialists. I walked out informing him that I would not trust anyone he recommended. Needless to say, my new crown and root canal had to be extracted at great cost. I am very disappointed in this dentist. I could have filed a complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. I just hope that this negative experience will make Dr. H realize that he must have more respect in listening to his female patients, in lieu of focusing on the remuneration he will receive by inserting a new crown.

After receiving treatment I moved to Austin. This presented limitations to receive solutions for their poor quality of service and products. The mouth guard process was absolutely excruciating in timeliness and pain. The tech (who clearly had no idea what she was doing) administered a total of 7 failed molds. After the final and "successful" mold my mouth was raw and bleeding from the clumsy and ill-trained worker. When I got the mouth guard, it barely fit and broke within a month. $867 dollars down the drain. When I signed the "treatment plan" I was led to believe by Munné that the $1,250 charge would account for future procedures for the Botox regarding my TMJ. I asked many different times if future Botox procedures would be included in the price. I asked two different techs and Munné herself and they all said that all future applications would be included in the price until my symptoms were relieved. I was scammed and mislead by this establishment and even with asking clear and concise questions, I was not given succinct facts to lead me to make the correct decision on a treatment plan that would suit me fiscally, pragmatically, and medically. Such a shame. At least I will know not to come back to this money hungry sales professional, I mean "DDS". I just got off phone the receptionist. On the call he was trying to coerce me to come in for another appointment to flush more money down the toilet. Get a grip and do better. Marlenn, the business manager, initially responded saying they would check whether I was entitled to any refund, but the charges themselves still were not clearly explained. After that, I went nearly a full month without meaningful follow-up despite attempting to get clarification about what I was being charged for. Because I still did not understand the charges, I filed a chargeback dispute for the amount above what I believed was allowed based on my EOB and contacted my insurance company. Only through my insurance company did I finally learn that certain charges were separate out-of-pocket office fees not billed through insurance. Once that was explained, I released the chargeback because I had in fact received the services. Only afterward did I receive a short, unsigned email from the office listing the charges. The tone came across as curt and dismissive. Patients absolutely have the right to question charges they do not understand. You respond today, you get reviewed today, and I won't sign either.

Once I couldn't figure out the retainer they give you to help shield the roof of your mouth and I called and one of the staff members stayed on the phone helping me figure out how to get it back on. On the day of my surgery the medicine I took made me feel icky and they made sure to take good care of me and later Dr Bealka called me to make sure that everything was going okay.
