On february 26th, I ordered my first Starbucks of 2021. Which is a weird thing to say considering that, by this date in 2020, I practically had a Starbucks everyday. I use to work in this area of Springfield and would regularly visit this specific Starbucks. Since I was back in this neighborhood visiting, I'd thought I would swing by the old stomping grounds. The staff at this location has always been friendly and warm to me. Always greeting me when I would enter and then saying thanks as I leave. My wait time is never long and the store is always immaculate. That is who my 5 star review is for, the generous staff of this Starbucks store. Yes, of course, it's also because I love the Starbucks brand having been a barista myself for 8 years on top of already being a confessed coffee addict. But it's the staff that makes the experience worth while. read more

Staff not friendly. Place order then they stick it in the drive through line instead of counter pick up then give you cold items while being dismissive. Starbucks used to have standards and now it's the most lackluster experience. The supposed convenience is not worth the hassle when 6 employers are present and you're still waiting 20 minutes. read more

This used to be our favorite Starbucks in the area. We have gone there for years (and we were literally there several times/week). But lately they've really gone downhill :( There seems to have been a lot of turnover in staff, and the customer service is honestly now lacking. The wait time for drinks has increased and there doesn't seem to be much "thinking outside the box" ... it's lost its personable, helpful vibe. They've definitely lost our business. read more

I have been to this location several location just because it's convenient for me. There's never usually a long line in the afternoon which is nice.. I get the same drink every time but it's always made differently, although since it's a refresher I am not usually super picky. I do have to say that this location have never had the chocolate croissants since I've been been coming for the last year. Wah. read more

This Starbucks used to be on 1661 Mohawk Blvd, next to Subway on Mohawk. It moved down to an old building, tore that old building down, and built a whole new structure. I have been inside---it's lovely, although it can be a bit noisy in there. I was not aware that it was a previous Wendy's. All I thought was that it was some sort of a fast food building that was abandoned. I remember when the Starbucks was at the old location of 1661 Mohawk Blvd, and that was the place where I got free Wifi until my Internet at my apartment was set up. Memories. I have always had good service at this location, and I haven't had any problems concerning my drink orders either. read more

Apparently a pour over is a pretty big deal here at Starbucks. Some Starbucks are professional and understand how to do it without it taking 15 minutes. You see if you just glug glug away and fill the filter you are now gonna wait. If you slowly drizzle the 22 oz of hot water it takes about 3 minutes. Then don't dare leave without checking to see if the cream and sugar got installed in said brew because finding out down the street really gets me going. Hope to enjoy coffee now that it just took 20 minutes had to be remade and then when j asked if it already had the cream and sugar " yes it's in the bottom" ok off I go..... well on second thought let's just take a peak in here.... oops it's black hmmm looking at the Starbucks pro ?? It's in the bottom they say... But it's black? Oh it's in the bottom they say again looking down at the black coffee and back to the blank stare a bit puzzled..... I love this Starbucks because it's close. But it's a hit or Miss you if you order mobile. But that could be a flaw with Starbucks. They're a nice location but the baristas are slammed and then orders get lost or maybe stolen? I do keep coming back tho because the alternative is Dutch bro's LOL read more

I'm a long time Starbucks customer and this one is closest to my house, I stopped in on a Saturday morning. I was there with my wife who was shopping the cups on the shelves, I was standing at the counter and our server never said a single word to me. Meanwhile she did talk around me to a female coworker. When my wife came to the counter next to me our server conversed with her and still never said a single word to me. Our server had red hair and no name tag, I guess unless you're a female you can't get service at this Starbucks. Seriously disappointed and would suggest that Starbucks does a better job of making sure employees understand that they are in a customer service based industry and not ignore customers. read more

This would be a four star, however there is not a drive thru and it is not the easiest place to get into to get the coffee. This location's costumer service needs some serious work. Normally starbucks has great service but not the one on Mohawk. This location is by my work so I go a lot and I've honestly had more bad customer service experiences here than good. I've placed about 20 mobile orders here and only 3 were quick in and out pick-ups (which is the entire point of mobile ordering). The orders are often made wrong and the required utensils are never with your items and you can't grab them yourself. It wouldn't be a big deal if there was anybody paying attention to that area of the counter. It takes several minutes to get someone's attention to get a spoon for my yogurt while every other location has the spoon with your order already. Same goes for straws, missing items, wrong size drinks. You often have to go get in line to get someone's attention which obviously makes mobile orders pointless. Even if you go through the drive thru, just the fact that staff aren't very friendly here is enough to make you want to go elsewhere. read more

While they seemed to be well staffed when I was there, it took quite a bit of time to give my order and get my drink... kind of frustrating when you are in a hurry. Nice store, has lots of power outlets, Google WiFI. The tables are spacious, lots of windows. the bad: the bathroom is shared with Subway and is not as nice as normal Starbucks bathrooms. It closes down too early. read more

First of all don't come here mistaking it for a drive-thru. The drive-thru is actually for subway. Secondly, their staff is most certainly NOT friendly as stated in previous reviews. Usually a "thank you" is followed by a "your welcome" or "have a nice day" or both. I guess that doesn't apply here. Thirdly, drinks were poorly made.
