I was traveling to California from AZ and hit that point on my drive that I was needing my caffeine fix. While passing through Kingman, I came across this Human Bean coffee stand. I was excited to find a familiar coffee shop that wasn't Starbucks. I have a Human Bean next to me in Tempe and love their coffee products. I picked up my coffee drink and appreciated the great customer that I always get from these guys. The Human Bean got their start in Oregon. They are known for their hand-crafted espresso drinks and fruit-infused smoothies. Every drink is topped with a white chocolate espresso bean. All of their locations have a double drive-thru or you can walk up to the window. You order directly from the barista and not through an intercom. The baristas are usually high energy and personable. The Granita is a my favorite and is Human Bean's biggest seller. read more

Kendall and her team did a fantastic job crafting mine and my hubby's drink. I got an iced honey oat milk latte and he ordered a hot red eye ( coffee with an espresso ). It was delicious! Recently came to this location while visiting my uncle in Kingman, AZ (I'm from Los Angeles). I had a really good experience with my barista. I am on a low sugar diet and she was really nice and helped me find a tea that would help my sugar intake since my blood sugar levels have to be kept in check. A good cup on Joe before a long haul is a requirement. The Human Bean is a good alternative to the corporate giant and Dutch Bros. Chocolate Macadamia Nut Breve - The coffee was good but had no sweetness at all. Fortunately I had two packets of Stevia and it made it a great drink. - If the barista asks you if you want a Bean on top say yes! Those chocolate covered beans were delicious. - Human Bean doesn't seem to be made for fancier drinks like Dutch Bros. Their website seems to rely on your own creation skills rather than a large menu of pre-conceived drink options... It's probably something they should think about going forward. read more

Great little coffee spot! A breve is always my go to; we ordered the "snickers" and the other name I can't remember but they were delicious. The espresso beans were eaten before I took a picture, I LOVE those beans! My dogs were so excited to get their puppachino's, the kids were jealous . Heading home from Flagstaff to Vegas, I wanted a caffeine fix. I saw reviews for this little coffee shop and they were good, so I thought I'd give them a try. They had a couple of drink specials, so I opted for one. The girl who helped us was super friendly and helpful, answering my questions about their drinks and making suggestions. I ended up with a refreshing raspberry dragon fruit lychee drink which was DELICIOUS! I wish I could have one now! And my husband got his go to... an Americano. I love the small coffee shops with drive thrus on both sides of the building. So I could not resist stopping for a coffee here. I ordered an iced latte with cinnamon powder and oat milk. Since I didn't request it with the cinnamon syrup the drink was not sweet at all. Which is fine with me at I don't like super sweet drinks. Thanks to the girl who took my order at she had the patience to deal with all my dairy questions and double check of the chocolate syrup had any dairy in it. I love the human bean and prefer it over other drive thru coffee stands. We were traveling thru Kingman and stopped for a coffee and chai. Driving down the freeway I went to take a drink and absolutely scalded myself on the chai and burnt my hands as I tried to put the cup down fast! Already back on the road I called the store and let them know it was made way to hot so to warn the next unsuspecting customer. The response I got was next time you should ask for it cooler and not hot! No sorry whatsoever! That's horrible customer service and found that very offending making it sound like it was my fault for ordering a coffee and chai???!!!! I really needed to get some coffee in my veins and the gas station that we were at didn't have any inside since their coffee machine was broken. The person at checkout said there was a little coffee place across the street from them. We pulled in the drive thru and gave it a shot. I got my iced coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I liked it so much I got a pound of ground coffee to take home with me. I brew it every morning and it's just delicious.
