I had never met a Human Bean before I stopped here. I had no idea what to expect? In case you didn't know, it's a very small drive up coffee cubicle in a parking lot. It truly doesn't look like much when you're driving by. My husband and sons are ALL very well versed in caffeination, like 4 espresso shots per drink and multiple drinks per day! This place is amazing! They don't over roast their beans? They brew in a way that reduces the inherent bitterness of espresso or coffee. They use quality syrups and flavorings. They work quickly and efficiently to keep you moving on but looking forward to coming back. From the outside, it looks like everybody is very well trained and happy to be there. I stopped at The Human Bean out of necessity on my way back to Las Vegas from Phoenix. Despite downing two 5 Hour Energies, I was still feeling a bit groggy on the last leg of my trip home. I saw The Human Bean on one of those blue food/attraction/lodging signs off the highway. I was able to find it easily and arrive about 30 minutes before closing. There was no line and the employees served me right away. I ordered an Irish cream breve with light ice and it was pretty good. The espresso was a bit bitter, but totally drinkable. It seems like I'll be making the trip from Las Vegas to Phoenix more often, so I'm confident I'll be back at this location sometime in the future. read more

The coffee is good. The problem is the quality of he cups and the inability to get the staff to listen to simple requests. I spend approximately $240 dollars a month here and I tip every time. The quality of the cups is terrible, they soak through and the lid comes off in a very short time. Multiple times on my way to work this has happened resulting in a huge mess on me and my car. I specifically ask for less coffee in the cup so this doesn't happen, but they will fill it right to the top and the rim soaks through. The last two times I bought coffee it popped off before I got away from the window and within a half mile from the store. They raise their prices on a regular basis and then raise the points for rewards. So you pay more and get less rewards. Plus now rewards points expire. They are constantly running out of supplies. Not a great way to show appreciation for loyal customers. I will never spend another dollar here. read more

On a road trip last week to Arizona and could not find my normal CBTL so decided to give this place a try. It is a cute little drive thru coffee place. Pulled up and staff were super friendly and helpful. One girl was wearing a Happy Birthday hat so we exchanged Happy Birthday greetings to each other. The staff were enthusiastic and upbeat making my experience five star! They quickly prepared my Matcha latte with oat milk and we were on our way. My drink was tasty and I liked that they added some chocolate covered espresso beans in the lid of my drink. They serve a variety of coffee drinks and tea both hot and cold. Local coffee joint around AZ. Brewing since 2006. Had to check it out and support these local businesses. Menu reminds me of Dutch bros. A lot of sweet latte specialties. This is the first time we tried the human bean. We drove thru and appreciated the friendly service received through the sound system. Ordered the usual latte. They processed our order quickly though it wasn't busy with only two other cars in front of us in the morning. We were surprised to receive an actual candied coffee bean on top. Wow. Love the Human Bean in Vegas. Surprised there was a location in Kingman as we make frequent trips down Phx . Stopped today ... and... Staff was friendly ( we used the walk up window ) and reasonably helpful. But the drinks ... Cappuccino by definition has steamed milk on top ... our drink did not. ( see pic) very little coffee taste at all. ( side note : lid was defective and spilled everywhere.) Mexi Mocha was ordered with almond milk. That part was missed ... So we drove on ... minus amazing coffee lol. That's a bummer. May just hit our norm Starbucks next time through. Anyway ... encourage this location to pay more attention to the execution of the coffee - that's sort of the point. No good . We always stop at Human bean in BHC, Fort Mohave, Havasu and like their drinks a lot. My husband doesn't care for coffee but the vanilla and chocolate protein whey smoothies at Human Bean are very good. About 430p We decided to stop At the Kingman store. The staff was bubbly and sweet we Ordered 2 Chocolate with coconut milk and 1 vanilla smoothie, 1 dog biscuit. It took approx 15-20 min and 2 light brown drinks and 1 dark brown one were being handed to us. When we reminded the young woman we'd order the opposite and offered us the mistake drinks instead of throwing them away. The vanilla had coffee added and we were informed all smoothies had coffee added (not the case at the other locations) we ended up asking for a refund. It was disappointing but the staff was very pleasant and apologized the whole time. read more

This place does not disappoint! All the options are very appealing. We ordered a green tea smoothie & a java chip drink. The green tea smoothie we compared to the green tea frapp at starbucks & the Human Bean knocks starbucks out of the park with quality and flavor. As for service, this place was awesome. I was really excited to see that there was another choice in Kingman that wasn't Starbucks. But I was soooooo disappointed in the service and the options. First off, matcha green tea should not have Wheat AND Gluten in it (that means it's not actually tea) and when someone orders something and you have to explain what it means when what you orders is a generic thing is irritating. I lived in Ashland back when Human Bean had their first and only location on the 99. Never been a big fan, since Dutch Bros was next door. We stayed in Kingman back in Oct 2018, when they had their grand opening. We gave them some slack and asked for our drinks to be remade. We came back into town for a month or two during this Coronavirus apocalypse. I ordered an Iced Irish Cream Breve and it was just as bland as the ones I ordered in 2018. I tried downloading their app to pay, and the smallest amount to select was $25 (Starbucks is $10). read more

My husband and I have given this coffee shop several tries. Their breakfast burritos have undercooked potatoes and twice we have ordered them with bacon and not received burritos with bacon. The lattes lack espresso and taste mostly like steamed milk. Most recently I ordered a black coffee with cream and it was sweet. How does that happen? I even called to see if they have a different type of half and half vs other coffee shops and they told me they don't. read more
