Rutherford's 66 Dinner is a must stop place on Route 66! While traveling home to LA from Williams and looking for dinner for the whole family, Rutherford's made everyone's drive home worthwhile. With a large variety of items on the menu for everyone, every plate is delivered hot with care by staff with open arms.

Came in based off reviews and we were not disappointed! Our server, Autumn, was amazing! She kept up with the orders and offered wonderful customer service. Everything she did, she did with a smile and kindness. Even when one of my kids accidentally spilled his drink, she was kind and caring about it. We ordered cheeseburgers, regular hamburger, short stack pancakes with a side egg, Jack Daniel's pork chop dinner, and French Dip sandwich. Everything was cooked perfectly! The hamburgers were flavorful and juicy. My oldest ate 2! While inside is not very big, they were able to accommodate 6 of us at a booth. I would highly recommend this quaint little gem on Route 66! We would definitely come again!

We liked it, we have one very similar to it in San Diego. This one's on route 66. The food was good. Definitely a good breakfast place. Lots of families there. We would go again if we have the chance.

It's a greasy spoon. I almost turned around and walked out to be honest with you when I saw two people in red Trump hats. Wasn't sure what I got myself into, but went ahead and went in. Got a California club sandwich that was freaking amazing and had a server who was really nice. Sure they could clean up the place if they wanted to make it look a little better but the food was excellent especially the chef with a handlebar mustache. Thank you.

Unassuming 50s-style diner with decent food. Portions are nicely sized and coffee is hot and made with freshly ground beans. I'm visiting Kingman, but I will say this is a "regulars" spot, where everybody knows your name. Old school booths make up a large portion of the restaurant and a HUGE counter seating also available. Staff is friendly and efficient. I support the mom and pops and this is a good one...off the beaten path but very accessible!

Coming from Orange County, CA, I've eaten all kinds of food, but this restaurant is something else. We ordered the fries, steak, mushroom burger, and a root beer float. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely caring. We had some leftover eggs for the baby to go but forgot to take them with us. When we went back, they cooked two fresh eggs for us to take instead. Amazing food, amazing staff. This place is definitely going to be our go-to stop every time we pass by.

TY Rutherford's for providing us with a GREAT first time experience on route 66! TY Yelpers for steering us the right way. We stopped in on our way from Vegas to the GC. After reading reviews I knew what to expect. Hearty food, reasonably priced, great service in a historic spot. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly young man who offered us a seat & the bar or we were asked to wait just a few minutes for a booth. We opted to wait. This place was poppin! But as promised we were seated in less than 5 min. Our booth was clean and had everything we needed ie silverware w napkins and we were given menus by our host. The table had a colorful Route 66 logo on it. Very fitting and it jived well with the rest of the ol' school American diner decor. My hubby ordered the highly recommended Country Fried Steak breakfast and it was just as hearty, tasty and perfectly cooked as the reviews said it would be. I didn't have enough appetite for such a belly full so I had 2 scrambled eggs and coffee. My eggs were served hot as was my coffee. 2 VERY important musts for each am I right? The answer is Yes! Our server was incredibly busy BUT on it! Super friendly, zero mistakes and very accommodating. She was a sweetheart. All in all, this was a great experience and we would definitely stop in again on our way through Kingman.

Yes they are open Thanksgiving day, plus they give out free meals starting at 11am until they run out.

What a cool place. They definitely embrace Route 66…read more We came in for dinner, and absolutely loved the place. It has a large diner style menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner but the inside has the theme more of a malt shop, than a diner. Really cool. Lots and lots of neat stuff, both in and outside of the restaurant. We both had the blue moon, burger, with blue cheese and mushrooms, and a cherry Coke. Not the kind of cherry Coke you would get in the store, a Coke with real cherry syrup like you used to be able to get. It was very good. The burger was juicy, the blue cheese had a nice "funk" to it, and the mushrooms played off of it very well. The veggies were also very fresh. The fries were your standard diner, fries, nothing fancy, but also very good. The prices were reasonable for what we got. There is a gift shop, and it is separate from the restaurant, but they have lots of good stuff. We were very happy with our meal. Thank you.

I also ordered an appetizer of their chips. Both were delicious, the juicy burger meat between the fluffy bun and the crunchy, fresh chips. They were delicious, and I will absolutely order these things again. When I came in, I was sat down very quickly, even at one of the busiest times of the day. I learned that you go get your own soda, so I didn't have to wait for a waitress to refill my drink. I was asked my order and the waitress serving my table was very polite and helpful, routinely checking in to see how everything was going. Nice people. Inside gave you that kind yet tough bar attitude. Taxidermy animal heads were quite abundant, and so were their TVs. I watched a bit of the soccer game, so I got something out of them. Everything was clean, comfortable and made for a fantastic experience. Overall, this is the place for burgers and pizzas. They have amazing food, quality service and a good feeling around. I absolutely recommend this place for those who want a very good burger or anything of that. Maybe, I'll try their pastas next time. Thank you!

The frustrating part is that this is one of the few places in Kingman where you can grab a beer and a burger together. I genuinely like the atmosphere, the beer, and the location. When this place first opened, the Beast Burger was incredible. My server today was excellent. They were attentive, friendly, and did everything right. They deserved the tip I left, and I specifically wanted to speak with the manager to compliment them. Unfortunately, I waited quite a while to speak with the manager. When I finally did, he seemed so disconnected that when I said I wanted to compliment my server, he asked, "Who?" There was only one server working the entire dining room. That interaction left me feeling like great employees aren't being noticed or supported. The bigger issue, though, is the food. I've been here multiple times, often when there were fewer than five customers in the building. I always order my burger medium rare, and every single time it has come out well done. I've almost never complained about burger temperature at other restaurants, but this has happened here consistently enough that it's become the reason I don't want to come back. I want to like this place. The beer is good, the location is one of my favorites, and the server today was fantastic. But the lack of teamwork and leadership, combined with consistently overcooked food, has made me decide I'll probably go somewhere else for my burger and beer. I truly hope management invests more in supporting the staff and improving consistency in the kitchen, because this place has the potential to be great again.
