The only true Starbucks corporate store in town (the rest are in grocery stores). The drive thru line backs up a bit on most days whenever you make that turn off of Stockton Hill Road. However, the staff here is really on top of things with regard to promptness, accuracy of giving what the customer wants with their preferred product of choice, and friendly customer service. This location has really upped their game, the employees are super helpful, I have been impressed daily over the last month, but today they hit it out of the park. The addition of an expo person at the pickup window is very helpful, the dine in ceramic mugs are a nice touch, and recently I've been awed by the coffee art. Today I got my normal oatmeal order, there have been a couple of times that the oatmeal has really sucked up the milk so it's a little dry, when I've asked for a little extra milk it's never been a problem, honestly this has happened maybe twice, I'm not the type of regular that has a daily issue with it. This morning it was a little dry so I went and asked the expo person for a little extra milk, before she could even say anything a different employee had already put a small cup with steamed milk on the counter for me. How did he know??? Is he psychic?? He said that he remembered I had asked before so he had saved a little milk for me in case I needed more. Love this!!!! That is customer service. Average Starbucks but glad to have one on the trip up to NV from AZ. A lot of indoor seating, of which four of the chairs are clearly new, leather like, great condition, and full back support. Nice! There are others that are enjoying the indoors and leisure time. The outdoor seating has a good roof cover so getting shade there is not a problem. My iced green tea is as expected which I appreciate. The service was a tad slower than I expected, but no bad. Miss the old fruit and cheese protein box which has more cheese and some crackers. Driving through the open Mojave Dessert from Kingman to the metropolitan Las Vegas area could be tiring. There is nothing like a good cup of Starbucks coffee to keep you up on this drive. The Kingman Starbucks has been my recent go-to stop when I am on my way from Kingman to the Las Vegas metropolitan area. It is comfort coffee that I know will be first rate. As I have written in my past several Starbucks reviews, Starbucks is a welcoming establishment to spend some time. The footprint of the shop is large. There are different seating arrangements for different kinds of moods. If you want to work there are tables. If you want to relax there are cozy chairs. Regardless of where you sit, the coffee beverages are first rate. Regardless that the prices get high, the break from uninterrupted driving with the caffeine boost is worth it. Especially when you add in the free WiFi. Until Starbucks builds a store along the open stretch of US 93 or I find another coffee shop in Kingman, I might return. It sure beats worrying about falling asleep on the long drive to Vegas. read more

I usually never write reviews but I had a terrible experience this morning at this location. After walking in I was greeted by an older man that was bald. (Dont remember his name) His attitude at first was ok but after I started telling him my order I couldn't even get through the whole thing without him rudely interrupting me and proceeding to give me disgusting attitude at like 9am. He proceeds to say "yeah we don't do that" I proceed to try and finish the order because he interrupted me. He then went on to say "we're not going to do that end of story". So at this point I'm super irritated because I've been to this location multiple times and every single time they have no problem making this order nor have they ever said they can't or won't. After this I just decided to order something else and the whole time dude is just giving me a dirty look. If you are the person I'm referencing in this review, please do other customers a favor and find another job where you aren't going to treat other people poorly just because you may have some issues or whatever going on. I am writing this review from this Starbuck's drive-thru line. We have 5 cars in front of us & have now been sitting here for 25 minutes. I kid you not! This is ridiculous! It should never take this long to get through a drive-thru line. I don't care how good their coffee is, how friendly their servers are, how updated their store is, this is unacceptable! And according to the Starbucks app, this store does not allow order ahead mobile orders, so we were basically forced to wait. And after investing so much time in their stinkin' line, you don't want to pull out & give up. So yeah.... I think this 1 Starbucks in Kingman does a good job with customer service. They do seem to run out of foods and specialties though. The drive through is horrible always full. We could use another in town. The Starbucks at the Safeways are not company stores so you can't redeem your "stars" there. All in all they do a good job. I'm headed there right now! Came in today and they are out of Thanksgiving blend and it's only November 4th. No one said if it would be coming they said they ran out. Sounds like poor management to me. 6 months later... And they seems to have enough people for the morning shift, but most of the time you just see the manager trying to manage people already doing a function. When a sticker went missing on the food tickets...wholly hell...everyone stopped working as they proceeded to find the offending party member... it was their own worker. The night time is even worse. You will wait for 10 min in the line outside, they tell you to review the menu...and then when you get to the window, you wait longer. They are understaffed for the evenings, at lest when I've come. The best visit we ever had, we encountered this wait, and the manager. A small female with glasses. She gave us a gift card, and the told us she was sorry for the wait. No prob, but then she said she was trying to prove to the district manage that his idea of how things run "doesn't work." Wow...that is your manager folks! Throwing their own bosses under the bus. Yes, a stand-alone Starbucks with a drive-thru in Kingman!! This location is a good one on Stockton Hill Road. Not too far off the highway...but you can only drive 35 miles an hour to get there. It's a pretty big Starbucks with the usual merchandise. The employees aren't overly friendly, rather it seemed like many of them were being trained or something. The drive-thru was backed up so I opted to go inside. It took longer than I'm used to and they had to change my order since they ran out of my holiday beverage. All in all, no big deal.
