Came in for dinner not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised to learn I am now a new regular. I'll get straight into it, the food is amazing. Well seasoned, well executed, great textures, the chef just knows how to cook. I ordered the cajun arroz con pollo upon suggestion from our wonderful server and it was fantastic. The rice was beautifully seasoned and chicken and sausage were tender and juicy. My girlfriend ordered the Cubano which she graciously let me have a bite of and it was the best Cubano I've ever had, and I've had quite a few including from Cubanos ATL (which this sandwich destroyed). A good sandwich is consistent through every bite, and the textures were spot on as well. I have found very few places in Georgia who serve any kind of Latin oriented food that I would consider edible, and this place was so good you could close your eyes and pretend you were at a Bodega in Miami. Drive by here on our way through GA. Had to check out 5 star with 44 reviews. Well...I'm next with 5 stars. Walked in early tonight. Seated and done in 30 minutes! Food was quick and hot...and delicious! Husband I shared everything. We started with 1/2 dozen raw and fried oysters. Clean oysters without any grit and the fried were light and not greasy. Awesome! The cubano was amazing and the mojo I wish I had a gallon to pour on everything. I regret that I couldn't eat the last two bites and I didn't even bother with the fries! This place is a must try! I am embarrassed to admit how much we eat here. I have tried most of the menu items and haven't had a bad bite. Their food is exploding with flavor and always consistent. The menu is well thought out and truly has something for everyone. Some of my favorites - steak tacos, wings, empanadas, the pit pot, the burgers, ribs, and the Cubano. So I drove 774 miles from Miami to Dillard GA to find this Cuban gem. Wow! I ordered chicharrón de pollo. There is no translation. It's basically chicken breast perfectly seasoned, battered and fried to perfection. The salad was one of the best I've eaten in a while. All the ingredients, very fresh, including aguacate tomatoes cucumbers, The works. It also came with yuca and a special Mayo sauce. It was the perfect meal at the end of a long day rafting. Wow! I read the reviews about how delicious the Cubano sandwich was here and was hoping for the best. Service was slow, I think they were a bit overwhelmed at 2pm on a Sunday. But the food more than made up for it. The sandwich was amazing, and a huge portion! The fries were hot and crispy. The criollo sauce served alongside was delicious. My husband also had the sandwich and went with the plantain chips which he said were great. I took half my sandwich home and couldn't even finish the half that was left for lunch it was so packed with meat. I got the Kahlua banana pudding to go and that was also out of this world! I was shopping at Lowe's yesterday and a salesman told us about this great Cuban restaurant in Dillard by the name of HUSH. We tried it today, four of us. It was fantastic! We were not disappointed. The pork, black beans, rice and yuca were all fantastic. My husband had the chicken, rice and andouille sausage was mouth watering, as well. Alissa, the owner came and spoke to us. The food was wonderful! We had the ribs, sweet potato fries, & fried oysters. The ribs had the perfect amount of rub and smoke on them. The oysters were a delicious surprise in Dillard, GA! They only have raw and friend oysters. No steamed oysters. Only downside was they had a very limited food and drink menu, I presume because they are a new restaurant. So glad we tried it; the food was so worth it! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The owner/chef actually came out to greet us and asked how we liked the food. We were very happy with our meal and we'll be back again soon! Visited for lunch today with my wife and teenaged daughter. My wife and I shared the Cuban sandwich, which came with fries, and order of empanadas. Kiddo had the lechon asado, which is like Cuban pulled pork. The lechon asado came with a mountain of sides that included rice, beans, and maduros. Plus, we all shared fried yuca.
