What a fantastic find! We were in the area for vacation and stopped in here one night for dinner and drinks. They were busy, so we sat at the bar and were greeted immediately by Kayla, the bartender. She took our drink orders and soon brought them over to us. We had the seasonal drinks, cider donuts, and autumn mule, and both were fantastic! Dinner order was taken and delivered quickly. Everything was delicious. The vibe is so chill we actually ordered a second round of drinks after dinner because we just enjoyed the relaxed feeling of the bar. The staff is amazing from hostess Conda, waitress Kimberly, bartender, and other staff members who all chipped in together to make our party of 8 feel so welcomed. Conda visits regularly to the table to chat with the kids and adults offering funny conversations. The food is creative and well prepared. Oh how i the fix!!! Their onion petals are my favorite!!! They are always my go to app and then I love the shanghai bites for my entree! If you ask, you can get the shanghai bites with fried rice. Nice cozy spot, right next to the police dept, which i have never seen open, but......i usually eat here at 8:30 pm which may as well be midnight in sapphire. Great bar, staff is hit or miss, but everything in the area is struggling to get good help lately. Would love to see a cab that is better than decoy by the glass. Owner is a beautiful person and they usually have some type of live music in the summer. I appreciate they are open late in an area where most places close at 8pm. read more

The food was excellent and the service was quick. Even though at the time they were understaffed for rush of foot traffic

So we started with a mishap online when we tried to order. Our online order went through and our card was charged, but then TOAST texted us that it didn't go through. We called the restaurant and was told they don't actually do online orders. Confused we decided to just go in instead and order since we were only a couple minutes away. Once we got there they found the order and confirmed the payment went through on their side as well. But to our surprise they had outside seating and were dog friendly so we decided to just eat there instead. They were very nice and and sat the three of us and our two dogs outside. They brought out a dog bowl and quickly we had our appetizer of onion petals and onion ring sauce. These things blow away the bloomin' onion from that big name restaurant. We got the half order and regretted that we didn't get the big order. Delicious Wife got the loaded fries and added steak to it. It was delicious. So we went last night. It's off-season and the restaurant across the street was closed for maintenance, this place got slammed. So given 1 bartender, and 1 waitress thus place did amazing. But the food, everything we got was so delicious, while a bit heavy on the peas thr fried rice was betterthsn most Chinese restaurants, the rosemary alfredo was heavy on the mushroom taste and my so loved it (and he hates mushrooms), the house salad with Fried chicken and the chicken sandwich with the pimento cheese left the whole family extremely satisfied. Upon arrival, our family stood inside the door and were ignored for 10 minutes without so much as a hello. No signage about seating yourself or waiting. No indication of where to wait. I asked a tatted up busser the best place to wait for a table. Clearly understaffed we soon learned the servers bussed their own tables. Another family came in and suggested we just take the open table and someone would come over. 3 other parties came in after ours and all were offered menus and drinks before our party - by the same server we spoke with (who knew we had been waiting). What an unexpected find in Sapphire, NC located near the Fairway Forest Condos & the Fairway Lake, Golf Course, etc. I was traveling with my husband & best friend and we happened to step in after a recommendation from the girls who checked us into our resort accommodations. It all starts with customer service so I must mention Kayla who seemed to be bartending, waitressing, and pretty much everything. She was super friendly, always smiling, & very knowledgeable. She was smiling even when the place was packed & she had to run to keep up. As far as food and drink - my friend & I ordered extra dirty martinis with extra blue cheese olives which they stuff themselves. The drinks were so cold, they were slightly icy. Best martinis ever & very reasonable in price. My husband got a Bloody Mary once & a Margarita another time. Both were also good and a good value. As for the food, everything was absolutely fabulous. We tasted the whipped hummus/honey/olive tapenade& pita, the onion petals with dipping sauce, the ground beef nachos, the cheeseburger with mushroom sauce & fries. Each of these items were over the top great, servings were large, and prices reasonable. OMG - and in an unassuming little local bar!! Imagine that!! Another cool thing, although we did not get to take advantage, was the live music offered on weekend eves. I can't recommend this place enough - we came 4 times during our week visit as we couldn't imagine that any other place could possibly be better. We are so happy we discovered this comfortable , friendly , Bar and Restaurant!! What a great welcoming staff, and enticing menu ! Our first (but not last) experience at The Fix was during Burger Week. As we looked over the menu, several items caught our attention. Instead of splitting the burger, we ordered several plates to try. We were not disappointed as everything was a 10 out of 10. The burger was our favorite by far of the Burger Week options. We also tried the house salad (so fresh), the nachos (amazing flavor), and the grilled pimento cheese (utterly delectable)! The entire experience was so inviting! The service was impeccable- our waiter, the host and the chef came by our table and each one of them were so wonderful. Was able to get in quickly with 6 of us on a super rainy Labor Day Sunday!! You would not really know it was there unless someone had mentioned they tried it before. It's right next to St Jude's Catholic Church in a low key strip center. It's a okay looking place inside kind of small, nothing fancy at all but the food was quite tasty and the service was really good as well. The ice tea was weak and one of our friends was charged $2 for every refill of coke he got, didn't love that. 5/6 of us got the BLT with and egg some with fruit side some with French fries and my husband got a chicken over salad thumbs up on all food and sides!! First time trying The Fix and wow were we impressed! All the food was amazing and I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures. The Brussels Sprout appetizer was huge and so good. My adult nephew had the TBird chicken sandwich and he said it was the best chicken sandwich he's ever had! My husband had the Asian Pork Shanks and the flavor was outstanding and a huge portion. My fried chicken salad was very tasty and the dressings were so good. For dessert the bread pudding with ice cream was enough for all 3 of us and so so delicious. We are so impressed with this place and we only wish we lived here so we could go back every week. read more
