Classic ice cream parlor look with red, black and white decor with the added touch of black and white photographs on the walls. There was a wide selection of flavors. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a good family spot with seating. I had family visiting from NewEngland and the West Coast. Heading back from Tybee, we wanted ice cream. But it was later in the evening on a Monday. The Ice Cream Stop was open til 9. We rolled in there at 8:45pm with 6 people. With a smile the staff greeted us and took the time to offer samples and descriptions. The owner came out and chatted with us until 9:30. Well after closing. The ice cream was the best I've ever had. Being a new resident of the area, I also felt like I met a neighbor. Awesome ice cream, people and service. The ice cream here is so delicious. They have a lot to choose from. You can try the ice cream before you get what you like. They also have smoothies. They are not super expensive either. I have to give a shout out to The Ice Cream Shop! I went here yesterday and got the banana pudding ice cream and it was amazzinngggg! I love the soft creamy buttery texture of their ice cream. It just melts in your mouth and it tasted like I was eating my nanas banana pudding! I could taste the vanilla wafers even though they weren't visible. All the flavors of banana pudding were there and it was yummy and refreshing. The other reason I wanted to give a shout out was because of the sweetest staff there. I like both Ice Cream Stop places, Bluffton, and Pooler! I always get the triple chocolate... chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, and chocolate chunks. OMG, they are delicious and ooey gooey, YUMMY! If you eat in, they put it in a special dish. If you like single or family photos, add yours to the fun wall... Super cute tucked away in a strip mall in Pooler, their ice cream is old fashion with a bit of modern twist. Not an overwhelming selection but should be able to please the whole family and some. Dairy free options is a bonus for our youngest! They even have mini cones!!! read more

Amazing icecream and the girls working were super helpful with helping choose flavors. I got cotton candy and birthday cake, both were awesome! Very reasonable priced too, the "single scoop" comes with two scoops and is under $4! They have Icecream cookie sandwiches, brownie sundaes, and more too. I love this place! I used to live behind the Richmond Hill location & that's where my live began. Staff is always friendly & helpful, the store is clean & kept up with. Unfortunately covid happened & they got rid of the Lego/chalk wall section they had for the kids but nevertheless... recommended both pooler & RH locations. Best ice cream read more

Fantastic ice cream! So many options and the employees were very interactive, fun and knowledgeable of all the flavors. They even give you little sample spoons. The oversized ice cream sandwich cookies are definitely 5 stars. The a/c needs a little work. It was a little too warm inside for our liking...and you would think an ice cream shop would be extra cool. It was very clean. Cannot say enough nice things about the 3 employees that were working. Not sure how I didn't know about this ice cream shop until a few weeks ago when they catered at my company. I like the fact it's in Pooler so I don't have to drive all the way downtown to get some good ice cream. There are many flavors to choose from but my favorite is the Sea Turtle, it's delicious. You can sample any ice cream you want before getting a full scope. In addition to waffle cones, they have other types of cone available such as cookie cone, pretzel cone and chocolate cone. They also sell ice cream sandwiches, coffee, gelato and smoothies. There is a kids play room so if you have kids, this is the place to go. I will return to try other flavors. Definitely the best ice cream shop in Pooler area. read more

So, I just answered yes today is Friday and he replied, yes we are still doing the upgrades and it should come off automatically. Well after placing my order he added the upgrade and when he tried to scan my rewards barcode it took forever to populate. He stated that the system was moving slow and did I want to cancel the order and retry it. I stated that "idk it's up to you" he waited a few minutes then tried it again. All the while the one other employee was washing the blenders with an attitude and slinging stuff everywhere. Mind you there were only 4 people in the store and two of them were waiting on their orders. After he scanned my rewards, I asked him did it take my $3 off he said idk let me look. As he is checking the employee with the attitude tells him "you have someone else behind her". I was very shocked and ticked off bc he can clearly see another customer behind me , what did she want him to do?? Stop helping me to help the other guy. What she could have done was opened the other register to help him if she wanted to rush. I kindly told him to cancel my whole order bc I have never seen such rude behavior before , they acted like they had a store full of customers. As stated 4 people and that 4 included me. Worst service ever !!! Mind you I was only visiting in this area, so trust and believe I will not be back. Just nasty people.
