LIC...yours speakeasy game has been on POINT. Imagine, a swanky men's boutique, and in the boutique there's a hidden door that leads to the most boss bar. I did a side glance while walking through the store, but too be honest this stuff looked too cool for hubs (no offense to him), but I definitely need to get a better look next time. I had time to kill before a networking event so I tried to find this tiny bar that had such rave reviews (literally 4.5 stars). I popped my head into Extra Butter, the aforementioned store, and I asked where I can find this spot. They lead me through a door on the side of the store and there I was. A very tiny spot with a super sleek bar. You can maybe fit 25 people in the whole spot, but not mad about it. It makes it a very intimate bar and I like that. Its so much more exclusive. Like I'm in on a secret spot. Shoot, I just let the secret out! You know your girl loves bourbon drank. And after some back and forth I decided to do the Rebirth of Slick. It was kind of like a refreshing old fashioned with turmeric syrup, bitters and lemon. I could have sat there and drank them all night. I convinced my friend to come early and meet me before the event, and when she finally arrived she had just as much as fun as I did. Finally, PJ was the most gracious host. Being there right when the bar first opened and having to wait on my friend, he chatted with me about the bar itself and food around the Queens area. He also informed me that some of the cocktails are his creation. They are fun and unique cocktails and I can't wait to come by and try others.

Cocktail menu was not too extensive, about 8ish but they also had an assortment of various liquors and spirits you can order straight up. My friend got the Can I kick it and I got the sweet dreams. The sweet dreams was a rum based drink with hibiscus tea in it. If you like floral drink that tastes smoothe and slightly fruity, this one will be for you. The sweet dreams had mezcal so it reminded me of more of a tropical Latin drink with strong agave smoke flavors. Definitely also worth getting. Service was great and attentive. Solid place to come hang out or go on a date for sure!
I've walked by the extra butter sneaker shop for years without knowing about the hidden gem of a speakeasy inside. I finally had a chance to check it out for happy hour and it's a great spot. The drinks were delicious and unique. I'm only giving 4/5 stars because it was still very expensive even at happy hour.
Probably one of the best speakeasies I've been to in all of NYC, the Infamous is not to be missed. Excellent drinks and service, and not to be confused with the clothing store attached to it, Extra Butter. The drink we ordered was put to flames with Bacardi 151 and it tasted like a peach paradise. It wasn't too strong but we definitely felt the drinks as we were drinking. The vibes are great but I can definitely see it getting busy here in the evenings so I'd try and make an afternoon of it, since space is limited.
Went to this place with the Mrs. and our 21 month old at around 8 pm on a Saturday evening... because it was overcast, the place was moderately busy and we were lucky to get seating outdoors. They have arranged about 3, 4 seater tables outside. We ordered Shook Ones (Dewars, orange zest, home made orange syrup) which was an absolutely brilliant smoked whiskey that my wife absolutely loved. I ordered No Show which was good... Service here is absolutely excellent. The staff is very friendly, and they were very nice enough to get some finger food for our 21 month old. Overall, we had a very nice experience here and we'll definitely return here.
A nice speakeasy by Moma PS1! We came on a rainy Friday night and the place was packed. It is dimly lit and plays good music. The vibe was nice in here and the drinks were super tasty (although not strong). The drinks were named after old school rap songs. We got 2 drinks each and ended up spending $50 each. Overall a good option to have in the neighborhood!
Swung in here for a drink after seeing some cool pics from this place. Upon arrival, they had some outdoor seats and the door was wide open, so it kind of ruins the "speakeasy secret" vibes that it should exude. The inside was nice, but a little cramped. There are five tables that could fit 2 - 3 people each and bar seating (which was closed when we went, but might be open now). Cocktails are $17 each, which is expensive, but are worth it. They all come with a small (very small) bite, that seems to be different with each cocktail. Sometimes you might get a few almonds, or popcorn, or cheese but it is definitely a nice touch. The presentation of each drink is also great and everything was delicious. We even got a custom one made, when we asked for a drink that tasted a certain way. The bartender was great. What loses the most points for me for this place is that when we sat down and ordered our drinks they took away our menus. Then when we finished our cocktails, no one checked on us even though the place had at most 6 people in it. When we finally managed to wave down the server (he was chatting up the bartender and looking at his phone a lot) he brought us the menu and then took another 10 minutes to come back over and take our orders. The bartender (think her name is Tia) is great, but whoever that server was, was not doing a great job at all. Overall, a cool place to take an out of town guest for a single drink. Hopefully they can train their servers to be a little more attentive and when more restrictions are lifted, the vibes of this place will be a bit better.

The presentation is pretty cool, it comes with a little snack too, which contradicts the whole buy a snack with your drink, since they're already giving you food. We ended up getting a drink that came with cheese and nuts! Honestly, the food menu is a little overpriced, but hey I get it. Check it out if you're in the area!
Speakeasy...amazing signature cocktails! Small but super cute. Full bar that can accommodate any drink, great selections on all types of spirits. I stuck to this Princess Bride cocktail, very flora and infused with lavender, small hint of vanilla in this not so sweet drink. Absolutely beautiful served! This was a great find!
This was my first time here and it was very low key. I like the vibes. My friend called it a speakeasy but I was expecting the typical speakeasy, hidden type of establishment. The drinks were okay, a bit tart. Music was pretty good too, it's coming from an iPad over the speakers. I'd come back on a late night again. I'm not sure if there is food.

I'm between 3 and 4 but I always round up. For all the hubbub LIC gets for its restaurant, food, and nightlife scene, with a few exceptions I have found the average bar lacking. They are the sort of spots one would find exciting in 2010 NYC, or perhaps 2025 Asheville. There's certainly a scene, but the green neon sign that reads "We Be the Infamous," and their commitment to their speakeasy hidden behind another business bit makes me immediately want to run the other way. But I ordered a couple of drinks for the full experience. I got a cocktail with mezcal and pineapple syrup and an espresso martini because no other drinks really called to me. One great thing about Queens bars is that places are still inexpensive, so I'm not mad at only spending $17 on these drinks, but the creativity isn't matching the likes of Dutch Kills or 56709 up the avenue. It's totally serviceable and it seems others have a great time here, but I found the experience wholly forgettable. read more

Fun drink names, delicious cocktails, kind staff. I got the Crush on You and it was not too sweet or too strong, but had layers of flavor with the notes of elderflower and raspberry coming through. A really delightful drink I'd order again. We sat outside to people watch, but the interior has a nice vibe with music and neon lights. It's expensive if you get a signature. But I'm not even a huge cocktail person and dang that drink was delicious. read more

Loved this place! Has speakeasy vibes with super friendly bartenders who make magical cocktails! It is a smaller spot but nonetheless we managed to get seats at the bar. A great addition to the LIC neighborhood. Very chill and the ambiance was great. My girlfriend and I loved all the cocktails we got. I got the Rum Diary and Vanilla Sky (great choices) Great spot for girls night out, date nights or just a small group of friends. Will be returning! read more

Found this new speakeasy bar in LIC. It's a hidden gem! The entrance is very easy to miss at night. It's actually on 46th Rd even though the address is on Jackson Ave (I know the street name in LIC could be a bit confusing). There's a wall painted with graffiti across from BP gas station, and the door is blended with graffiti, but it's there! Currently there are some tables outside as well, so it should be easier to find. I ordered Princess Bride and loved it (it's the cocktail on the right in the picture). There are a few crackers served with the drink. The service is good. Indoor and outdoor seating are both available now. Great place for dating and hanging out with friends. read more

Beautiful speakeasy with the best drinks and staff! We had 4 cocktails and they were all amazing!! My favorite was definitely the Casablanca as I love anything and everything St Germain. It was so good! The Acapulco Gold which was made with mezcal and pineapple was super refreshing and I could see myself on the beaches in MX. Definitely check out the Infamous when you're in LIC And after shopping at Extra Butter! read more

Dope neon sign: check. Good drinks: check. I stumbled across The Infamous on Instagram and was excited to check it out. I'm not going to lie, as a Queens native, what really got me was the "Queens Get The Money" neon sign. We stopped by around 4:45pm on a Friday and luckily for us it was pretty much empty still. We had a seat and began looking over the menu. They have a pretty solid selection of cocktails, craft beers, and wines. I'm a big fan of fruity drinks, so I gravitated towards their cocktail menu. I went with The Infamous (~$17). This drink is made with Bacardi, Bacardi 151, Aperol, peach puree, and lemon juice. It was also served with mixed nuts which was a nice touch. The drink looked well-made and presented to us very elegantly. It was loaded with crushed ice so I could barely taste any alcohol but the peach puree was refreshing and evident in every sip. The mixed nuts somehow complemented the drink very well. We hung out for about an hour, enjoyed our drink, got our pictures in, and headed out. It's not huge but it definitely has speakesy vibes. The ambiance is super chill and it can definitely be intimate for a date or for friends to catch up over a drink. And if you have a neon sign obsession like I do, this spot is a no brainer! If you're in the LIC area, The Infamous is worth the stop! Get yourself a drink, take dope pics, and relax at this lowkey speakesy! read more
A cute speakeasy!!! It's attached to extra butter clothing store with a graffiti storefront, it's easy to miss. It was a cute, cozy ambience to it with amazing drinks! It's a pretty small bar, with a lot of locals who visit. I got the desperado and princess Bride. Both were delicious! read more

Adding an update: still excellent and has outdoor seating! The cocktails are amazing and the clawtini is no exception. It tastes like a gummy bear! Of course the bar tenders are very nice and fun to talk with. Finally, the beer selection is on point! So many different choices! I love this speakeasy and I cannot recommend it highly enough! read more

Cute little bar. I happened to have some time to kill before dinner and stumbled upon this bar speakeasy. Love the drinks here, the vibe, the service, and ambiance is fire. I can not remember the drink I ordered .. it was absolutely amazing whiskey and topped with red wine. The servers are just amazing. I am so happy to have walked in here. At first glance, one might not notice the open door near moma ps1, but those that do and seek to fulfill their curiosity will be rewarded with a fresh experience in Long Island City. When we first heard that a new speak easy was coming to LiC, we were skeptical but oddly excited. What followed was an experience we won't forget soon. Tia is one of the most personable bartenders I've met in a long time. She knows the business and her business is great cocktails. The music brings me back to the late 90's / early 2000s when times were happy and fun. The cocktail presentations are excellent. The drinks are fantastic and as much as I want to be selfish and not tell anyone of my new favorite spot, I'm so excited for a fresh perspective in LiC. I highly recommend you visit soon before there aren't any tables left. read more

So happy to have found such a wonderful cocktail bar, just tucked away behind Extra Butter! I got the Vanilla Sky (in the front w Prosecco shot) and the limited time Clawtini (background w popcorn) and both were wonderful. My friend requested a tart cocktail and the bartender really came through with a wonderful reco of the Clawtini Definitely going to come here regularly! I loved this little speakeasy. Delicious drinks and it was a quiet intimate space. My friend and I tried the Casablanca, The Quiet Storm, Princess Bride and the Cherry Ale. All were delicious and The Quiet Storm came in a little treasure chest and had smoke!! read more
