We had a time Friday night!!!! Omg!!! When I tell you if you are brown or black and go to New York City and like to dance and be in a grown and sexy environment, where there is no drama nothing but good music and grown folks having a great time, this is your spot! I saw people in there from 25 to 75 and everybody was in there having a great time! The restrooms were clean. The reserve tables were spacious and the service was great. The music was phenomenal. I practically knew almost every song played. It was really a great time! This will be a must stop whenever we're back in New York! We did have a small bite, we paid $10 for french fries, when you are in a bind, you gotta do what you've gotta do! I was not paying $25 for empanadas or wings so we just went with the fries until we left and actually got something to eat afterwards. But at least the fries were fresh and we got a lot, lol! We will definitely go back!!!!

The Inkwell is the place to be if you're having a party or Birthday Party and you are of the adult crowd this is where is at the staff is so generous. They tend to every needs I dealt with Kevin and he is such an amazing person. He made everything flawless for us great time.

I had a great time it cost a pretty penny for a seat (vip section) lol they also had boot leg valet parking but that worked for me for 30 bucks. You can park in the front. The food came out nice and hot and you got cup cakes the music was good it was mr cee. I would definitely go back...

The Inkwell was a cool place to hang out as I went there recently to see Angela Winbush perform. As expected, Angela Winbush ' s performance was phenomenal (she sang hits like " Smile", "I'll Be Good", "Treat You Right", "You Don't Have To Cry" and one of my personal favorite songs "Angel"). She hit those special high notes, she sings so beautifully and looked fabolous! I loved the show and the cocktails during the 2-for-1 Happy Hour until 8pm. The DJ was fantastic and I found myself dancing the whole time (as usual) to great old and new songs. One of the hosts on the stage kept the party going and another host mingled among the crowd and was very courteous. This place was cash only for the tickets so I had to go back outside to the ATM. This venue is also a bit small so one should probably go to the bathroom located downstairs before you move onto the dance floor near the stage for the performance ( as I learned the hard way). There was one "rough around the edges" bouncer that I think really needed a nap and an attitude adjustment. However, I had an enjoyable time and will go back for future performances.

For three tickets with taxes, it was just over $300. We were told we'd find out which show on the day of (Saturday) at 11 am, but on Friday night, we got an email from the theatre saying they were excited to see us. Our "spin" landed us 3 tickets in the center of row F for Spamalot. The show was absolutely hysterical. Thanks to Broadway Roulette for making this seamless. We had a great time.

You get the option to cross off a few titles you do not want to see or maybe you have seen before. You can pay an additional fee if you would like to cross off more. For me, because I've seen so many shows, I went with that option. I still ended up getting a show I've seen before, but that's okay because it turned out to be an amazing experience seeing it on Broadway. I've always experienced the national tours. Once you have an account though and use it you won't get duplicate shows. So the next time I visit New York it's work a shot. The seats were decent enough but I'm semi skeptical because the price of the ticket almost comes out to what you would pay at the box office anyways so how much are you truly saving? There are different ways to have your experience, and you can upgrade if you prefer orchestra seats. The cool thing is the anticipation of not finding out what show you're going to see until the morning of. Overall I would do it again though.

Skyscape is a really engaging and a well designed experience. Theres a lot to see and do, with interactive spy style missions that kept both me and my son entertained the entire time! My son was completely locked in the whole time and I was right there pretending I definitely understood the instructions on the first try. It's mostly a hands on experience, you're not just walking through exhibits, you're actually participating, solving challenges and learning as you go. Even better, it didn't feel crowded, which made it comfortable to move through at our own pace. We were able to go back and redo some of the exhibits we enjoyed, which made the experience even more fun the second (and third) time around. Overall, a great mix of entertainment and learning, especially for kids but enjoyable for adults too. 10/10. My son loved every second. I loved pretending I knew what was going on.

On weeknights, it's cheaper than the weekends, which made this experience more worth it at $27pp. Plus, you also save a couple dollars by purchasing your tickets beforehand online. We participated in the Spygames portion, which was worth doing. Once we got a wristband and setup an account, we got to start the games. They also offer free lockers (you'll want to remove any purses, bags, jackets, etc) as you'll be moving a lot. There's 10 rooms of a variety of games although some are similar or duplicates. You'll be very active jumping, climbing, and running around. The hour went by pretty quick but we were both sweating and exhausted by the end of it, so an hour is really all you need.

(Click on my Substack for more Baumbach thoughts including my brief interaction with the auteur, as awkward as many of his finest scenes). You may have heard about the successful company that helped destroy movie theaters by pivoting to "content" meant to promote purchases of high-end TVs and nice couches. (Related, I went to Best Buy and didn't recognize anything. Is that a thermostat? A stereo? A smart garden hose?) This company was so successful, that after Knives Out was heralded as single-handedly reviving non-Marvel film, its sequel was withheld from the theaters it allegedly saved. (BTW, if you were planning to tell me to watch the amazing 53-part Quibi streaming series about The Golden Age Of Hollywood, don't bother). But after Netflix helped destroy theaters, it did a nice thing. It's one of those ironic moments like the purse-snatcher scene in Jay Kelly. It signed a lease that helped the Paris avoid the fate of the Ziegfeld and a million others, in a world where the AMC theaters that destroyed all the independents have been suffering themselves. So, while it was vile that Netflix thought Roma should be seen on TVs, it was nice of them to show it at the Paris, especially for the unusually vibrant sound. I saw Train Dreams Saturday. I suppose, like the kid in Squid and The Whale, I am a philistine. I wish I could praise its morose existentialism but I'm not quite on board. However, I did appreciate the majesty of the northwestern fires and falling trees in this venue. There was no assigned seating; not sure if this is just temporary, but if they keep that policy I might be obliged to overlook Netflix's evil and upgrade to 5 stars.
