Once in our room we found lovely robes (with matching slippers), a balcony, a lovely bathroom and well decorated and cozy bedroom. The staff definitely go above and beyond to be helpful, give recommendations and engage in friendly banter. This amazing spot is just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Aspen. It boasts daily complimentary breakfast (starts at 7:30 am & includes in house quiches - made daily), a koi pond, multiple hot tubs, ski lockers, computer center, and washer/dryer access. I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return next year!

We made reservations for this property to return over Labor Day weekend for the JAS Music Festival. I physically went to this property looked at it, and reserved three nights. They took 50% deposit. Later that evening, I got a voicemail that they had to cancel my reservation because they oversold their property over Labor Day weekend. I called Scott, the property GM. He confirmed that they did oversell and his employee should have never made reservations for Labor Day Weekend. He offered no apologies, no discount for future stays. It was very unprofessional. They have yet to refund my 50% deposit (about $1600).

The lounge is really nice. Breakfast was great! Unfortunately the rooms are dated and need a facelift. They do there best to keep them clean. It looks like the last facelift was at least 25 years ago. The walls are paper thin so don't plan on sleeping in past 6:30 AM. Everything in Aspen is way way over priced. We knew that coming in, but we didn't expect the upkeep and maintenance to be so deferred. Aspen is the typical destination resort. Getting you once is the goal. Hoping you will come back is not. So for the reasons above I cannot recommend this property.

Comfy beds and great amenities. Staff was very friendly and great at suggesting day trips (thank you to the online concierge replies). I regret not trying their burger. There's also the Audi experience (2 hours to drive the Etron). Unfortunately, couldn't access a few scenic paths bc snow was too heavy. I already own this car but to drive it in the snow -what a great experience. Location-wise, grocery store and all the shops were walking distance. There's street parking for $15/day, first come first serve (parking is free on weekends). Garage parking is $50. Concierge was also great at accommodating with a birthday surprise (macarons + balloons). However, we sat down in the lounge one evening and were ignored for over 15 minutes. I tried making eye contact and waved but still ignored. The workers served/gave menus+drinks to 3 parties that came after us. Maybe because we were the only Asians there? I think the pictures here are from before a remodeling because when I went it looked totally…read moredifferent inside (sorry I don't have any pics!) but it was very modern and cool, complete with mirrored china cabinets and fancy coffee table books with titles like Luxury for Cats. There are a lot of bedrooms; I don't know exactly how many since i wasn't the organizer but we had about 30 people. I know that whatever number of people was advertised as accommodating on the site (VRBO?) was a bit off bed-wise (must have included all sleeping surfaces including couches) so a few people in our group were peeved (they were going to have to sleep on couches). The finishes were very nice - Hermes soap and fresh towels. I would HIGHLY recommend the maid service if you're in a big group. It had pots and pans and all of that stuff; no spices or anything like that if you're going to be cooking, but it had wine glasses and serving stuff as well. The hot tub was great (nice and hot!). The location was great. It certainly doesn't suck at all.

I had actually forgotten about this stay by the time you responded, so looking over my review and remembering my experience I can't imagine why I gave you 2 stars. I still remember the air handler kicking on in the middle of the night and count this room as the worst I've ever stayed in (including the room I rented one time next to the elevator machine room). Too bad you didn't indicate that you were closing that room for rent and using it for a utility room (about all it is good for).

The breakfast is REALLY GOOD - juices, yogurt, breads, fantastic coffee, cereals, fresh fruit, and more. The views aren't that great, but who cares about that, really? You're in Aspen, so go outside and see the mountains face to face!!
