I was not able to meet with my regular massage therapist so Bichelle held it down in the meantime! I went in for a myofascial release session, and I walked out feeling very relieved and lighter in body and mind. As a very active individual, and also working in a profession that always has me on my feet, and on the go, I was glad to leave the session feeling the way I did. The massage space was very clean and the lighting created great and comfortable vibes. Bichelle was very professional and extremely knowledgeable at her craft which made me feel at ease when trying out a new therapist. Another plus was the great conversation, asking for feedback as the session went on and being able to handle/maneuver a guy of my size, little over 6,3", 290ish. AMAZING !! The owner Bichelle is a delight to deal with. I called and instead of simply telling me her next available time, she asked me what my schedule was and worked with me to get me in at a time convenient for me and her busy office schedule. Bichelle is a professional and an expert at her craft. She was able to work out some knots in my shoulders that I've had for a long time due to poor desk posture at work and stress. She takes her time going over the questionnaire you filled out at check-in with you, discussing your goals, and learning about your particular muscle and joint pains. I was impressed with how thorough she was. When she was done she explained where she felt knots, tension, and how to best avoid those in the future with specific stretches. She also offered some advice on diet and exercise. She was very polite and kind, not pushy at all. I felt great the next morning and my back and shoulders feel so much better. Thanks Bichelle!! I really liked the facility for It Girl Massage. Very comfortable, warm, and welcoming. I was ok with the location of the facility because it is a busy area and there is no parking lot so you will have to find a parking spot either on the street or in one of those metered parking lots. BUT dont let that deter you from getting a massage there. Totally worth it. thats just an FYI. Give yourself a few minutes to find parking. Bichelle is very professional and kind. I was very stressed from work that day when I arrived. She was very patient and did not give me any attitude because I was 10 minute late (my fault, I should have left work earlier I didnt think about parking.) She took the time to interview me and asked very specific questions about any aches and pains. Because my neck and back is very rough, i was in pain afterwards but its a good pain. Some other massage places I visisted ...i didnt really feel anything different afterwards. A few days later Bichelle followed up with me to ask how I was doing. Although the massage itself was good, I paid for a 60 min massage. I came in about 20 min early to fill out paperwork. My appt was scheduled for 2:15 and Bichelle took me on time. But by the time my massage was over it was 2:54.. Shoes on and out the door by 3.. I feel just bc I had one of those Amazon local deals, I wasn't given the amount of time I paid for. When I got home I noticed scratch marks on my skin probably due to the harsh brushing the massage therapist uses on your skin prior to the massage. HOLY SHIT this woman is IT! Literally. I have had a lot of massages over the years and I feel like a lot of times the massage therapists follow a certain formula and they feel so much the same on my body. Well I have to say that after just one massage with Bichelle, I knew right away how natural she is at her craft. She knows where to focus on and has such a unique style. The little touches like the cloth that held my hair down, the hot moist towel on my feet, and I think there was one on the back too...the aromatherapy...the calming music...those are all things I remember as making her stand out from the rest and reasons I would go back for again in a heartbeat. The heated table was so pleasant too. She told me to leave her stresses in the room and boy I sure DID. Her touch was so amazing that I had no clue know where those stresses went...heck, I could barely remember my name by the time the session was over.
